4th Visit”
Good location opposite ferry , no transport problems. Friendly staff, room sufficient for my needs. Breki could be better, but the free coffee makes up for that. Sit down at coffee and thyme and watch the world coming and going from paradise. Ocean 5 always let me join dlving boat as solo snorkel let, I like that. Will be back no doubt.

Fancy staying in Grand Central or Heathrow? Look no further! ”
When we booked this resort we were under impression that this is a "typical" holiday resort with a slow flow of time, beachfront leisure activities and slow dinners surrounded by sounds of waves... Well, this resort is right in middle of the port. So all traffic of people and goods are passing through the corners of resort in one way or other. Heathrow or grand central would be more relevant comparison. There is no beachfront as it is the center of a busy port, so forget about waves and relaxing conversations. Closest swimming spot is a good 15 min walk away. Food? Menu is adopted to clientele waiting for boats (not the overnight guests) so typical airport food of sandwiches, fries, pizzas and similar variations is all one should brace himself for... Pools appear to be used for diver training, washing dive gear etc. Stuff in reception I found to be professional and attentive, but that, unfortunately, was a drop in a bucket as far as the big scheme of things go... The island has dozens of resorts fitting the typical tropical escape cliché... just not this one.

Spacious, convenient”
Family Bungalow is spacious and clean; location very near to harbour. However, WiFi signal not very strong. Overall, nice stay!

Very clean but noisy”
We had the family bungalow and unfortunately it got noisy very early in the morning with breakfast starting. Staff were very friendly and the bungalow was kept very clean. Electricity cut outs got annoying - potentially should put torches in the bungalows as it appears this happens often.

Nice getaway ”
We stayed here for 10 days. The rooms were small but nice! The open concept bathroom was really open concept (some big spiders) but otherwise good. It's really close to the main beach and their pool facilities were probably the most beautiful I have seen on the island. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay on the island!

Friendly staff, rooms ok”
This hotel was good value for money and in a fairly good location. It was a short walk to main strip but unfortunately had to walk past the awful smelling rubbish dump every time to get to the main strip. The room was ok, very basic with an outside bathroom and no main mirror inside. The bed was also rock solid. The aircon wasn't the best and ours was leaking so kept flooding the floor. Other than our room, the rest of the hotel was good and had no problems. And the coffee shop does a great breakfast.

Aimed at divers, not at couples”
I'd only stay here if you're a diver. During the day the pool is dedicated to the diving school. The location is right next to the ferry arrival part of Gili Air so the restaurant is always busy. Don't stay here if you want the peace and serenity vibe of Gili air, I'd recommend going to another part of the island. Great for young travellers though and anyone wanting to dive.

Nice place, heavily focused on diving”
We booked simply because of the convenient location to the harbour. It was nice and clean but the hotel has a heavy focus on you being there to dive. We didn't really use any facilities at the resort because of this, no cocktails at the bar, limited food menu (although what was there was very nice). Rooms/bungalows were very well appointed and very comfortable and exceptionally clean. If you are coming to Gili Air to dive its perfect for you, for a romantic spot probably not.
