    Exceptional”

    OCHO Guest House located next to Nakajima Park. It takes only around 5-10 mins to the tram station & convenience store. The hostel is super clean and comfortable. I had very good rest during my stay there. Will definitely choose OCHO Guest House when I visit Sapporo next time. :)

    A hidden gem”

    OCHO Guest house feels more like a second home than a hostel. The place is super clean, the wi-if is super fast, the owners are super nice. Everything is super basically. The location is next to the wonderful Nakajimakoen and the tram line. Easy access wherever you want to go. This is one of few reviews from, this because I truly recommend this place!

    Spotless”

    Only expected a place to crash for a night but meeting the host made it one of the more memorable experiences in Hokkaido. It was great talking to them. Just super positive vibes! This guest house is also very very clean--just completely spotless. Much more than all the rest in Sapporo in the same price rang. I was told the bed sheets were 100% linen! It was super comfortable and amazing. Everything was great. Thanks so much!

    Exceptional”

    Undoubtedly the best guest house or hostel I've stayed at! The couple running the place were very welcoming and spent time getting to know me and just chatting, which made me feel right at home. I was sad I had to leave! The house was very clean and spacious with good facilities, and I enjoyed spending time there for more than just sleeping. The location was also very good: both the city center and Mount Moiwa are a good walking distance away if you're used to walking, but the tram and subway stations are close by as well if you'd rather use public transport. I would love to stay at Ocho again!

    Guesthouse owner are nice ”

    First of all, reli kind to meet Eric and his wife, they are very nice, willing to suggest where to visit in Hokkaido; owner can communicate in Japanese, English and Cantonese fluently. The flat is tidy and comfortable, facilities they provide are more than a hotel which this guest house is more valuable. You don't need to worry about other visitor in the same flat, they are all well educated and friendly. Look forward to visit this guesthouse again.

    Accomodation at its best”

    The Guest house hosts were very warm and accomodating! The location is near the tram station rather than subway. Super clean and equipped with automatic amenities for comfort & convenience, its like living in a 5 star ⭐️ hotel! Tap water 💦 is safe to drink in Hokkaido. 😊 I will definitely come back.

    The host is very nice, helpful, talkative. He is taking care of the guests as family. He asked us everyday where we planned to visit. This kind of interactive is not found in other hostels.

    Pros: Clean Friendly owners and guests Comfortable beds Well stocked kitchen Cons: Have to take the subway and then tram, then a 5 minute to get there. It is do-able but just tiring after a long day of travel. Have to pay for towels which seems odd since this hostel is on the more expensive side.

    Need to go by subway, then tram. No towels provided. ”

    There are FAR better choices with this price and those hostels are near subway stations and do not need to take the subway and then by tram, and this hostel is between two tram stations, so it’s a fare bit of walk with your big luggage. They don’t provide towels, bring yours. And their check in time is until 8pm only.
