I just returned home after an absolutely fantastic trip to Barcelona, and as I look back on those amazing days, I can’t help but leave a review for the wonderful Eurostars Barcelona Central. My family and I stayed in Room 114 from October 6th to 10th, and we loved every moment of it! Let’s start with the facilities — the hotel building itself is modern and spotless, clearly less than ten years old. The room furniture and amenities were in excellent condition, and the housekeeping team kept everything perfectly clean every single day. Breakfast was also delightful! The buffet offered a wide range of fresh, tasty dishes, and the dining area felt elegant — almost like we were somewhere extra special. The location was another big plus. While it took just over ten minutes on foot to reach Plaça de Catalunya, the hotel is very close to many of Barcelona’s must-see spots. We could easily walk to Casa Milà and Casa Batlló in under ten minutes, and most other attractions were within a 20-minute ride by public transport. Thanks to the hotel’s great location, we spent less time commuting and more time exploring! But the best part of our stay was, without a doubt, the kindness and thoughtfulness of the hotel staff. My birthday happened to fall during our stay, and although I hadn’t mentioned it to anyone, the front desk team surprised me with a handwritten note, a bottle of champagne, and some lovely treats. When I came back to the room that evening, tired but happy from a day of sightseeing, this surprise completely lifted my spirits — it was truly touching and unforgettable. (And just a funny little detail — the card was addressed to Ms. Kim instead of Mr. Kim! I suppose my name caused some confusion. Honestly, it didn’t bother me at all — it just made the moment even more memorable!) If I had to mention one minor thing, it would be the subway noise. Since our room was right above the ground floor, I could occasionally hear trains passing by late at night. It didn’t really bother me, but light sleepers might want to keep that in mind. Also, the view from our room wasn’t particularly special — though I did enjoy hearing the church bells from across the street every hour. It added a charming touch to our stay!
