They've just renovate the place and it's even better now. Bang for your buck. Not you typical fancy five star hotel but it has what you needed and it's clean and comfy. Location wise is great, just walking distance to popular tourist spot at Macau peninsula.

Small room”
We got a very small room. No room for more than one small bag. We had to open our small suitcase on the one chair provided, and hid another small bag under the chair. Table was very narrow. There was a bed for the two of us, then some room for stand, that's all. There was no separation between the shower place and the toilet. No curtain. So after shower, the whole bathroom, including the toilet seat would be wet. So better bring your own slippers to the bathroom to avoid bringing all those water to the bed area. Compared to other hotel with the same price or less, the room is much smaller, so beware of that. Will I be back here? I really don't know.

The Ole Tai Sam Un Hotel was perfect for us. Coming from the Taipa area, we just had to take the City of Dreams shuttle bus to the Sintra Hotel, walk a short distance and we found it not far from the Senado Square. Although reviews say that it would be hard to find, with a map and inquiries with the concierge of Sintra Hotel, we found it easy to find. The hotel is very new and the rooms are clean. The only downside is that you have to make sure the curtains are closed or the neighbors will see you in the room and in the bathroom. It would also have been better if the bathroom door and partition wall was not the smoked type. Yes, this rooms are not advisable if your roommate is not someone you are intimate with. You can see through the smoked bathroom walls and door. It only takes a five-minute walk to the Senado Square and along the way, you'll be passing through food shops where you can buy Macau delicacies for gifts to bring home. Since the Senado Square is near, just follow the road with the wavy line and you'll find yourself in the famous Ruins of St. Paul, as well as the market place where free food for tasting is available. The breakfast buffet offered by the hotel is also affordable and worth it. It was the only breakfast I had during my vacation to Macau and Hongkong that had me satisfied. All in all, I would recommend this hotel to travelers on a limited budget looking for a nice place to stay.

It's really a good stay in this hotel! Among all the hotels that I check in this area, this was the cheapest and the most well furbished hotel I could find. I was worried that I couldn't find the hotel initially, but it turns out to be easy as well. Complimentary drinks were topped up daily, together with tea sachets. Free Wi-Fi has got stable & fast connections. Furnitures seems pretty new, bed is comfy, the television was fix too high though. Also, it was very near to Ponte16 (one of the casino-hotel in Macau), you could actually use their shuttle bus services to get to Ole Tai Sam Un Hotel. They have got shuttle services to & from the Border Gates to ZhuHai & the Ferry Terminal. Save a hell lot of money on transport. I'm definitely going back there again, if I couldn't find a better hotel with such cheap rates (as compared to hotels in Macau)

Ole Tai Sam Un provides basic necessity for a traveller. The room albeit small was clean. The beds were comfortable enough, and the bathroom was equipped with hot water. Basic amenities such as towels, shampoo, soap, and a hair dryer were provided free of charges. The hotel excels in location since it is within walking distance to Macau's old town. The Senado Square and St. Paul Ruins, the most famous landmark of Macau beside the casinos are less than 8 minutes walk from the hotel. There are many eateries and covenience store next to the hotel so dining would not be a problem.

I had 2 night stay at Ole Tai Sam Un Hotel during my visit to Macau. It is just a 5 mins walk to the famous Senado Square. There is also bus to airport from the closest bus station. The bed was comfortable and the toilet was well-designed. Just in front the hotel there is a porridge shop which sells nice food, worth a try. But when we're there the road in front of the hotel was under construction.Totally recommended for those who visiting Macau for sightseeing.

this was my 2nd times staying in Ole Tai Sam Un Hotel. As we took kingsize bed, room become smaller. TV not functioned. Air cond is well and quiet. Overall, it's worth a stay and it is very convenient to the extent all in walking distance to happening places and restaurants, and casinos. Walking distance Eating Places i recommended :- 1. Margaret Egg-tarts 2. Leng Kee (run by father and daughter) - dace fish paste kongees 3. Seng Kee - awarded shop. Milk Tea and Breakfast set (next to Fook Lung Bank) 4. Lung Ma Steamboat - red signboard, many HKG artists pictured with the owner 5. MGM's Eight Square - Spare Ribs with Stewed Pork Soup with LanChou Noodles. Tell u, MUST! HKD78

Better than expected stay!”
It was indeed a great experience at the Ole Tai Sum Un Hotel! I was there with my cousin for 2 nights, and we were both pleasantly surprised by how big and comfortable the room was. Location was great as well, as it was very near the main local attractions and food areas. It wasn't hard to find the hotel as well (with the detailed instructions given), and everything was within walking distance. Rooms were big and comfortable, with sufficient powerpoints for both of us to charge our necessary electronic gadgets. Overall, we both really enjoyed our stay at the Ole Tai Sum Un Hotel and would strongly recommend to anybody who wants to stay at a more reasonably-priced hotel as compared to the big hotels in Macau! :)

Ole Tai Sam Un is my go-to hotel whenever I visit Macau, and I will always recommend it. Location is superb, just beside the famous souvenir street, short walk to great food, Senado Square and Ruins of St. Paul. Room is not large but decent enough, cleanliness is good too. Staffs are helpful and friendly. Definitely value-for-money.

Small, comfy hotel in a great location”
It was an above than ordinary stay. The hotel is quite new so everything is clean. The location was great! We only had problems in finding it because the cab drivers do not know it and we had a hard time speaking with the locals; they don't understand English at all. There was this eatery just outside the hotel and the food was great. It was still open at 2am, the the we arrived at the hotel since we had a hard time looking for it. Ole Tai Sam Un Hotel is in Rua da Felicidade Street which is a tourist spot in itself. :)

Clean and nice”
If you have small demands they are well met at Ole Tai Sam Un. Rooms are not large, but includes everything you need, with nice bathroom, waterboiler and a safe. They're cleaned every day, towels and bedlinen changed, and airconditioning is functioning splendid. But if you like a view, this is not the place for you. Downside is the breakfast, which was kind of sparse. No need to include this cost, cause there are several restaurants and pasteries just outside with more value for money. Locationwise you're practically on the route of the old city, which is on UNESCOs world heritage list. And it's about a 5-10 minute walk to Grand Lisboa where you can get the free shuttle bus for Cotai if you're in the mood for casinos and lyxury shopping.

Nice Hidden Secret on a small, clean old street”
our taxi went down a narrow little street with old tenement buildings nearby. the concierge waiting for us was a kind, energetic, humble young man who was very responsive to our inquiries and needs. the renovated hotel was a pleasant surprise to be found on such a rugged road. we were pleased with the immaculate bedding and new bathroom amenities. the room was a bit small, but i would rather have a clean small room, than a bigger dirty one... the next morning, we were delighted to walk around the quaint, but agd street which sells beef/ pork jerky, chinese pastries and other novel gifts nearby. ole tai sam un hotel is walking distance to pointe 16 hotel/ grand lisboa, which have a free shuttle to take you to other major hotels where more action can be found. for price we paid, our stay here was worth it's value in savings from being at a more popular grand hotel. i would recommend this hotel to others staying a few days as we did.

Clean, enjoyable hotel stay”
We stayed one night at Ole Tai Sam Un -- it was a great stay with clean rooms and sufficient amenities. I went with younger siblings (the youngest was eleven) and was pleased that the hotel was free of the smoke smell that is so common in casino hotels. The counter staff were quiet but helpful, and could speak English acceptably well. While it was slightly confusing at first when we tried to roam around, it was pretty easy to navigate as long as you keep several landmarks in mind. We loved how we could walk to Senado Square and the surrounding places of interest like the Ruins of St. Paul and the Macau Museum (which was sadly closed on the Monday we were there). There are plenty of Koi Kei pastry stores around this hotel and at Senado Square...perfect for food gifts. It was an easy ride from the hotel to the ferry terminal... take a 1 minute walk to the main road and hop onto bus 3 or 10 and drop off at the ferry terminal (less than a 20 minute ride in average traffic). Overall, we are really satisfied with our stay at Ole Tai Sam Un and would definitely recommend it for those who would prefer not to stay at Casino hotels.

Great location, small rooms & minimum facilities”
My partner and I stayed at Ole Tai Sam Un Hotel for 1 night. Although it is a small hotel, the room which we were given was clean and comfortable. The hotel is situated off the main street along a narrow road. There ain't any free shuttle buses that passes by the area so it's advisable to flag a cab and tell the driver the name of the hotel (and they know exactly where it is). The hotel is located near tourists' attractions such as the Senado Square, Ruins of St Paul's and St Dominic Church so it's easy to walk around. However, there is no night entertainment around the hotel after 10 pm.
