Basic room for a good price”
We stayed here for our last night in Tokyo as we wanted to be close to Akihabara and the station to easily get to the airport the next day. The room was basic, but actually very big for Tokyo, the mirrors were very dirty so maybe slightly more attention to be made with cleanliness. But other than that there was no major issues and for the price I would definitely stay here again for a budget hotel.
Good helper for my lost things”
My Glasses is lost in hotel, the hotel help me sent to my friend. I am very grateful for this :)
Cozy hotel 5 min walk from Kanda and Iwamotocho Station ”
Hotel is bit dated. Cozy hotel 5 min walk from Kanda and Iwamotocho Station. Nearby mini mart. Akihabara is 10 min walk. Bed was too small for two people. Do not book room with small bed. Refilling of water available in lobby. Suggest you to look for another place in same price. There are better options available.
Stayed here for 1 night with 2 friends. We had a room with 3 beds. The room smelled like smoke, we are non smokers so it was not a pleasant smell. The room was long and narrow. We didn't spend much time in the room. The hotel itself is a bit run down but it worked for our one night. It was in a excellent location, close to a lot of shops and restaurants we wanted to go to, short walk away.
Great location hotel”
This is a hotel in the midst of renovation and could use an upgrade of the rooms. However the size of the rooms are good for families and couldn’t be any happier since it is so close to great areas. Will repeat stay if coming with family again.
everything was good, room was surprisingly big.
Homy, accessible, clean”
They have clean rooms, comfortable sheets. 8 mins walk from Kanda Station east exit. Take the narrow road beside Promise & Mister Mint. Walk straight ahead then after 3 blocks, turn left , then wait til you see Olympic Inn Kanda on the left. Helpful staff. They offer free room upgrade for my sister & her family to a much bigger room seeing that they have 3 kids with them. They helped us call taxi 5am to take us the keisei bus stop for narita Airport. They have their own vending machine at their restaurant at the basement. They have free water in a water dispenser at the lobby. They let us borrow their umbrella when it’s raining. Near food stores. But they also offer breakfast buffet at ¥1,000. Kinda old hotel but clean. Their inn is comfortable for your tokyo stay because Kanda is only 1 station away frm Tokyo station via yamanote line. & kanda also has direct access to shibuya & shinjuku via chuo rapid line.
Adequate homy room”
The location of the hotel, kanda, is good just 1 station from Tokyo station. Room is clean & homy. Staff always tries to help you especially when calling a taxi for the airport bus terminal. Free water in the lobby.
For a hotel in Tokyo, you would expect staff that can speak at least basic english, but whenever we tried to ask simple questions to any of the staff, we quickly realized it was going to be a challenge. Not that they weren't at least trying to help, but it puts a damper on things. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from Akihabara, so any of its shortcomings are quickly forgiven. The rooms were clean and the cleaning crew was on point. We didn't have any issue with room wi-fi either.
We were really satisfied to stay at Olympic Inn Kanda. It was just around 5 minutes to walk to train or subway station. It was really close to Akihabara, less than 10 minutes walk. Convenient stores and restaurant could be easily found. The room itself was very clean. The price was really value-to-money. We will definitely stay at Olympic Inn Kanda again.
It is a bit of a trek from Akihabara station (which is not the greatest when you have a lot of luggage and small children.) However, the staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend for anyone who wants to be close to Akihabara but not right in the middle of the action!
Amazing location and breakfast”
Perfectly located near everything in a quiet area. No extra bed for 13 year old. The smell from bathroom can be awful if ventilation is turned off. Keep it on at night too. Breakfast in the hotel is really good.
Simple hotel with everything you need”
Olympic Inn was a good base during our first 3 nights in Tokyo. The hotel is near Kanda Station, so it was pretty easy getting around via metro. The area surrounding is mostly business-like but there were some cool, lively streets. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. Our one complaint were the pillows... they had some strange plastic beads inside, I don't really know why.
clean and quiet”
The room is clean and quiet. Hotel staffs are friendly.
Great value for money”
A very clean and convenient hotel. Will definitely stay here again the nxt time I come back to Tokyo!
Value for money”
Inn isn't new, a bit old already. Room size is reasonable if based on Japanese standard. Quite close to Kanda Station, just few mins walking distance.
Good budget hotel in Kanda”
Excellent budget hotel in Kanda. Close to the subway. Several bars and resturants in the area. Friendly and professional staff. Recommended.
Value of money, good location, friendly staff”
This hotel give you a quite bigger room than other in Japan. Location close to Kanda Station, there is many restaurants beside on the way to hotel from station. You can leave your luggage if you arrive tokyo in the morning.
Will Stay Again”
Stayed here before and will stay here again. Only thing I would like them to add is bottle/s of water in each room. They have water dispenser but located in the hotel lobby. If you don't have a big mug or large water container, you will end up buying one in the store, or go down the lobby whenever you're thirsty.
