3 days in Paradise”
We arrived on an early morning fast boat and easily found a Horse& Carriage to help get our luggage to Ombak Sunset which is the other side of the island to the harbour. After checking in we were shown to our Sunset Bungalow to find our bungalow directly below a large building site next door, whilst we understand the whole of Gili T has lots of building works taking place the noise was loud. We asked if we could move to a quieter Bungalow & after a few hours wait was moved to a beautiful bungalow with a private pool through a free upgrade. The bungalow with a private garden & pool was stunning & we spent most of our days by our pool. Room service was excellent & good value. Sunsets on the beach are beautiful & they have 2-4-1 happy hour. We chose to eat out every night as it seemed rather quiet at the hotel, Excile which is walking distance is worth a visit otherwise you can get a Horse to the main area by the night market. We loved our stay, and would highly recommend.

Heaven on earth”
When we got to Gili T we had no place booked, and as we got off the boat we sat down to make a reservation and immediately after we went on to the hotel. When we got there we were very well recieved with wet towels and a cool drink which was perfect considering all the dust in the streets of Gili and how hot it can get there at 12h00. We waited for about a half an hour for our room to be ready, which we didn't mind considering we only booked 20min before getting to the hotel. However, the Ombak Sunset Hotel kindly surprised us with an upgrade to a two-bedroom private villa. This place was so perfect that we extended our stay for three more nights, and we we're only sorry we didn't have more time to stay a perfect 'dolce far niente' week there. The staff was always very kind, specially the boys by the pool bar. The whole experience was amazing, and I would definitely stay at Ombak again.

A little gem!!!”
Great staff and hospitality. Room service was great every time. Apartment was immaculately clean and the pool was too. A great option for a couple who want to be on the quiet side of the island. They provide bicycles also free of charge which was great as the cycling is an awesome way to get around this place. Could not recommend this place enough.

Largest pool available on island. Great views. Clean rooms. AC had issues keeping the large room cool but eventually it became comfortable. Bikes are old and uncomfortable. Would recommend walking to Aston and renting bikes from them. Only 10000 more per day.

The best place you can see the sunset on the island, because of the cloud you can hardly see the sunrise. The sunset will be seen much easier than the sunrise and more fantastic because of the beautiful color flashed on the sea and the cloud. The accommodation is perfect that will offer you everything you need. Good place to choose!

first of all hotel upgraded our room into villa with private swimming pool.. food is unreal specially breakfast, staff very friendly, amazing location to see the sunset just outside the hotel, great and quite location, about 30 minutes cycling to go to city centre but also few activities near by and ATM machine within 5 minutes walking , great place for honeymoon or relaxing atmosphere

Beach access & SOFT pillows”
Large resort with beach access. Massive swimming pool with a swim up bar. The sunset bungalow were amazing and I loved the outdoor shower. Pillows were so soft. Only downfall was Wifi was weak and not always available so had to hotspot in order to work. And water coming out of the sink and shower was salt water.

This is a lovely quiet hotel, with a lovely pool and good WiFi. The food a drink prices are reasonable. It’s a five minute walk to the nearest shop if you want to pick up supplies.

Superb Experience”
-we got a suite room (with pool inside) it's free upgrade since the unit are not full due to earthquake issue -staff were really helpful and listened to our requests -the main pool was closed due to maintenance but the suite pool inside my suite was perfect. -we enjoyed the breakfast in AM next to the pool and food was good -only thing that i can complain is its located abit far from center which is u have to use bycycle to go there. but here u will get the sunset which the center doesnt get it

We were looking for a relaxed island holiday which the Ombak was perfect for. It’s a 15 minute bike ride to the busier side of the island but situated on the quieter side. There is a cut through to get to the island quicker and so much to do right by the hotel like the outdoor cinema down the road. The staff were so friendly and eager to help where ever they could. The only con would be that the beach area is beautiful and they could may be do more with it, there was a bar but it was closed during the day and only opened at night. The bar is open by the pool so you could just walk your drinks to the beach if this was an issue. Overall I would highly recommend this accommodation and will be staying here if I return to Gili T.

Perfect for honeymoon trip”
The room was so big. Very comfortable, clean and cozy. My room also have bathtubs even already have private pool 👍 the fridge outside room. Overall the room was very good. We really enjoy while we here. The hotel provide bicycle to rent. The location of the hotel a far from jetty. The road to hotel also a bit dark in night no road light.
