lacks proper maintenance which is unfortunate because the interior and exterior is beautiful only if it was properly maintained. maybe a bit of repainting and new beach beds and also newer and cleaner linens and towels.

Good location and addordable. Just close to Lind Hote and Discovery. If your intent to go to Boracay for bar hopping, diffenately far from bars.

Great location, cheap rate but don't expect much”
You get what you pay for. The main reason I would suggest this place is its location - Station 1, a minute's walk to the beach, and right beside Kasbah. If you're going to spend most of your day at the beach and only stay in the hotel to shower and sleep, then it's worth considering this hotel for its price. The day staff is really helpful, but there isn't much they can do. They hotel only has one kettle and they have no cups for tea or coffee. You have to borrow the kettle from reception every time you need to use it. The Wi-Fi wasn't working when we were there. Our room had no hot water so we asked to be moved to another room. They were kind enough to accommodate us, but the room we were supposed to move to had a massive leak, so that was a no go. We had to stay in our room and use the shower in the other room to have access to hot water. The sheets, while clean, were stained, and when we asked for the room to be cleaned, the sheets, towels, and floor mat weren't changed in spite of their condition. But again, if you're going to spend most of your day at the beach and only stay in the hotel to shower and sleep, then it's worth considering this hotel for its price.

Cons - no privacy. There's always a group of locals outside you room. Plus the door is made of glass and the only cover is a curtain. No blinds. - housekeeping never happened. I stayed there for 5 days and the lady keeps telling me they'll have a cleaner every lunch time but no one showed up. - no access to main road. You'll have to walk really far if you want to go somewhere - the door's lock is totally wrong. I got locked indide my room because the hook outside the door blocked the slide. Also, when inside the room, there's no way you can lock the door. So just pray no one enters your room while sleeping. - air conditioning is a pain to set up. I think they use a different brand of remote - the shower door almost fell on me! The slide door is not attached well! - super weak water supply - electrical sockets are far from the bed. Good thing I brought an extension - no electric kettle for your tea/coffee. Hassle to go out and borrow at the front desk.

We did not expect too much since we have paid PH 1600 per night only. However, we were very happy we chose it. The room is nice & clean, aircon is working well, toilet is clean, all necessities were provided, staffs are friendly & facilities are in good condition. It is very near the beach and other restaurants. Totally worth it. Keep it up One Azul. P.S. Don't confuse One Azul with Azul Hotel. These two are totally different. I don't recommend Azul Hotel.

It requires a bit of walk to the beach but the upside is it is located away from the noise. The accommodation was rather modest. It's the kind of hotel where you park your body after a full day of activities.
