Stay here before travel south”
Very clean hotel. Enjoyed the stay. Unfortunately not much to do in the area but if you're heading south, the bus terminal is walking distance so this is a perfect place to rest before going to Dumaguete or anywhere south by bus.
Location is near Markets so quite noisy, busy and dirty.”
Hotel itself is quite acceptable and can't really complain as the rates are so cheap. Breakfast is good! Staff are very friendly and efficient except one of the girls in the Reception who seemed bored with her job and not accommodating at all! :(
Nice place, not so good location...”
New hotel, staff needs more training to speed up things at check in/out....but they are very polite and pleasent. Pool is way to small for serious swiming etc. Wifi very limited...(reduced speeds) wifi access codes provided by staff are not allways correct.. Location is very unknow to taxi drivers...Just point them to Elisabeth Mall or Emall as they say. Food: So so...Room service is OK and staff very kind. In general...I would stay here again. For what U pay...U get nice service.
Good value for money. Location is not the best...but still not unsafe... Slow check in, WIFI could be better.
A new hotel but unsystematic check in”
The hotel is very nice, though the rooms are very small. It has a very strategic location, just beside E-mall. The check in was discouraging since we checked in at 2pm but was only able to go get a room by 3pm. The other room was available by 4:30pm. They said rooms were not ready for occupancy earlier since housekeeping are still cleaning the rooms. Nobody assisted us at check in, and the security passes they gave us were not functioning so we have to go back to the reception 2x to have it reactivated. The buffet breakfast was a good highlight, with delicious foods and varied choices. The pool is very small but good thing it's only 4ft so kids feel safe swimming.
Hotel is excellent. We were travelling Philip pines for 6 weeks and 3 weeks into our travels. landed in Cebu looking for a couple of nights to recharge the batteries in a nice hotel. This was perfect. Clean, hot shower, excellent food, comfy bed. Everything you'd expect from this type of hotel. My only con would be that there needs to be more seating or beds at the pool area. There are only 2 sunbed and once they're snapped up, you have no chance for the rest of the day. Location is good for airport etc, but not an area you would happily walk around in. I have given 5 stars due to airport location etc. Not for neighbourhood location. Overall, we will stay here again for our last nifht before heading home at the end of January.
Nice new hotel ”
I only stayed here for one night. Most taxi drivers are unfamiliar with this hotel because it is so new. Tell them it’s connected to Elizabeth Mall and they can find it. Room was awesome, great shower, soft bedding, lots of tv channels. Helpful staff. Don’t take the shuttle service from the airport just catch a taxi on your own, it’s far cheaper
Slept well and enjoyed the roof-top pool”
We reserved a double en-suite room - got a twin room with the beds pushed together. However, we have traveled enough in Asia to know this happens. Our room was clean and quiet. Especially nice shower. Liked that we got two bottles of water each day, plus a liter picture to refill them without adding more waste. This hotel is connected to a shopping center that had a food court. When we arrived - exhausted after a 28-hour journey from the States, it was an easy place to get a meal. The neighborhood is a bit rough and on our first day seemed a bit daunting. But after two days we really liked it. Staff was always friendly. The roof top pool was small but clean and we enjoyed. This hotel is still in construction as it just opened in October, so not everything complete yet, but everything we wanted was. The breakfast buffet was good. We are not normally fans of buffets but it had loads of options - mostly Asian such as soup and stir fry. Also breads and fruits.
New hotel ”
All staff are helpful and friendly. This hotel is 5 minutes walking distance to South Bus Terminal and for a lot of establishments - supermarket, atm, foods. But the surrounding are too crowded but its okay just be safe. We stayed for 4 nights and we enjoyed esp the buffet breakfast and swimming time.
Tiny beds and cold breakfast”
my recommendation would be to limit your stay at the lovely one central to A night. and only a night. Staff smiled and were friendly but there is clearly a problem with management and customer journey experience. after trying to sell us the wrong room we eventually took the deluxe twin, because the bed of the deluxe double room was tiny and we're not children to sleep in cots. breakfast was disappointing. cold and ants over the buffet. pool looked alright, but we didn't use it.
Rooms are small but have everything you need. WiFi is great. Swimming pool is nice. Gym is not yet completed. There are not many places to eat nearby except a Mac Donald’s two doors down. Buffet offered by the hotel is nice. Only issue we had was we were rudely awoken at 6:50am by staff trying to enter our room. Luckily we had the chain lock on the door so they were unable to get in however they persisted with knocking until I went to the door. It was a mistake as the reception had sent them the wrong check out room number. I got quite a freight being awoken to someone trying to get into your room. We got no apology for it.
Very helpful and friendly staff! Excellent breakfast also and location is very near to the old town Cebu.
This hotel rocks”
Great option for the downtown area. Be there or be square.
We stayed here for 2 nights. Our first night it was okay. Second night, we have indicted for make up room and when we arrived in our room no new slippers. Our used slippers from our first night was still there. No new pair was provided. Considering 2 nights was paid already. No refill of new rolled tissues. We are two in the room and the housekeeper knew it we are a couple for our second night they only gave 1 tube of shampoo and soap. The only accurate refill were the 2 bottled water and 2 dental kit. Not really impressed with the housekeeper of this hotel. Front desk people and room service was efficient except the housekeeper staff.
looks like their double deluxe room bed is good for a solo traveller. nonetheless our stay was good. the room has the basic necessities that other hotels with this price don't have. it has a mini ref, vault, hair dyer and most importantly a percolator because we love to have coffee early in the morning.
Nice hotel near the ferry”
The staff at this hotel was great. Everyone was extremely helpful. The breakfast buffet was nice, but had limited options for vegetarians. The room was quite small and the bed was very small for a double bed (double deluxe room). The bar and swimming pool were not yet open when we stayed. Overall, it was a good hotel, and was conveniently close to the ferry port. The area in general though is not nice to walk around. It is a very busy, run down area of Cebu.
Excellent all in all.”
Location, customer service, food, value for money, cleanliness, nice ambiance, amenities, everything is perfect but they should like value their customers more. We're always staying in One Central and one time I made a small request on something upon booking since that was my and my partner's birthday but they didn't honor.
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel
The breakfast buffet selection ahould be improved but overall the stay was good.
