A lovely resort ”
Me and my girlfriend stayed here between december 23 and january 1. We had a lovely stay! The resort is located at the end of a road, with the last 100m on a dirt road. This means that if your looking for a quiet and relaxing resort, this is it! The resort has a restaurant and if u go 100m up the dirt road there's another restaurant called family inn. Both very good food. If you go another 500m you will come to town where there's alot of restaurants and convenience stores. The resort lets you borrow either a bicycle for free or a motorbike for 150k per day. The closest way to the Beach is unfortunately closed due to construction work, but it's still not more than 300-400 meters to a a really long and not very crowded Beach! The staff of the hotel is doing everything they can to make sure you have the best stay there! We cant overstate how nice and welcoming they are. We really would recommend this place to anyone who seeks a nice relaxing resort! Kind regards sir & madame blue lagoon

Nice place to stay”
This is such a tranquil place to stay after a long time of busy work. The beach is very close to the resort and you can catch sunset easily at around 5:45pm. The staff was supportive and friendly also. Highly recommend.

Isolated, poor access, lack of service but...”
You will either love it or hate it. It’s isolated quite and basic. On all fronts too much for us. Access is poor and with little ones we had to take taxis to and from the village (very nice village) Service is poor (apart for one lovely lady at breakfast - who made bear shaped pancakes) otherwise the general level of service was limited. The pool is nice, but dated and the facilities around the pool are poor. The rooms are ok, again you have everything you need, but nothing special. I wouldn’t come here again but I can imagine it suits some travelers, especially if you get a good deal! Lastly I will say despite immediately tell them we had made a mistake and booked too many nights - no refund was offered. Now I understand the mixed reviews, be sure it’s what you want! Oh the beach is lovely, but a agin the facilities there are limited and run down.

Great value for money ”
We relaxed and enjoyed our stay at this small resort and we can honestly say that it was the best value for money that we had on Phu Quoc Island. Everything is brand new, fantastic bed and nice bathroom. Wifi and airco worked well. There is really nothing to do on Ong Lang beach so for us a short stay was sufficient. We loved walking to the beach where the Hotel has a nice beach bar and sun loungers. You can also order some food there. They offer an amazing happy hour and are anxious to please. Great value for money and super comfortable.

Nice”
Great quiet spot surrounded by the nature, comfortable room (shower as well), wonderful clean pool, beautiful garden, best Barman best Mai Tai in Vietnam. Friendly staff. There is a small village 25 mn walk in the nature "left way" / 10mn walk from the beach "right way". We loved Ong Lang Village! amazing & simple chillax moments. Unfortunately, there is no more "Happy Hour" or "Free Happy hour". :-( Just an advice: it would be better to listen relax / jazz / folk music instead of dance / techno / house, it is unpleasant during evening time when people are looking for serenity in a sharing moment. Even more when someone is reading a book as we saw then please, you should change your playlist. ;-) Tx.

Nice and quiet hotel, near to beautiful beach”
We stayed at Ong Lang Village Resort beginning of this year and were absolutely happy with our stay! Pros: - Beautiful resort with big and clean rooms - Outdoor bathroom is a positive adventure :) - Bar at the pool area - very friendly and helping staff members - the beach is only a few minutes walk with a little beach bar for hotel guests. The beach is very clean, beautiful and quiet - bars and restaurant in a little village are a few minutes away from the resort Cons: - the breakfast is okay, but could be a bit more of variety. But, they will prepare eggs of your choice fresh - the hotel bars close quite early. Probably due to the fact that the guestrooms are nearby. If you look for longer nights, you have to go to the city center by taxi. All in all, if you want to relax and enjoy some quietness, this is a perfect location!

Great location and beach!”
I really enjoyed my stay at Ong Lang Village. The location was very peaceful and serene. The hotel is not directly on the beach but has beach access a 5 min walk down the dirt road. The beach here is clean, quiet, and the water is calm and perfect for swimming. The hotel provides loungers and there is a beach bar as well. You will want to rent a motorbike if you want to go into town for meals or nightlife but this is easily done through the hotel. The owner, Mr. Binh was always available and very attentive. I will definitely stay here again!

Beyond expectations”
when we booked, we didn't expect much since there was no review before and thought this would be a new resort. However, we were stunned when we first stepped in the resort. Staffs were friendly and attentive, we were greeted by any one of them we met around the resort. Our room was large and incredibly clean. Breakfast is awesome with the mix of asian and western food. Beach still have the taste of nature not too crowded with many tourists, and you'll have the best spot on the island for the incredible sunset. We were supposed to stay for only one night, but the warm and welcome atmosphere made us just had to see if we could extend our stay and ended up staying for 2 more nights. I would recommend this resort for anyone looking for a private and peaceful experience.

Ready for a delicious getaway!”
Don't be startled when the taxi goes off the paved road and onto a rough, dirt road for a mile or so. This little bungalow colony is a perfect getaway. A delicious breakfast every morning to eat in or take away to your porch. The beach is about 400 meters further down the road with a yummy restaurant and bar, umbrellas, chairs and beautiful water. Very clean beach and private. Don't be surprised if you run into some cows moving themselves from one pasture to another on the road of some of the island's native Phu Quoc dogs. A great escape!

A perfect spot on the island”
Great location, plenty of lounge chairs for hotel guests on the best, cleanest beach on Phu Quoc, awesome staff, clean facilities w/ everything we needed! It was our favorite place we stayed out of a few hotels/locations on Phu Quoc.

3 star hotel, 5 star service”
I have stayed at numerous luxury resorts on the island and this one is the best in my experience so far. The hotel is tucked away in a secluded area amidst forest and beach, about 10mins away from the Duong Dong town. However, there are shops and small restaurants nearby at the entrance to the resort (about 7 mins walk). it was nice to feel like we were staying in a private place tucked away in the wilderness. Staffs here would make you feel like a VIP when you were first stepped into the resort by their friendliness and care. Pool bar is perfect place for a chill out in the evening with nice music and not too loud. Food was always top-quality and the breakfast was as good as any other I've experienced.

Nice wee place, close to the beach, lovely staff”
Stayed here one or two nights. It was perfectly pleasant. Rooms had enough space and a little terrace outside. We were a little more squeezed together than other resort places on the Island but it was grand. Bed was comfortable and the Wifi was good - so happy bunnies. The place is out of the main town. We had scooters so this wasn't a problem, but one might find that frustrating if you don't have a means of transport, or can't use a bicycle. Bikes are free, so some pedal power will get you to a strip of nearby restaurants, cafes, shops etc, but you'd need some effort to take it into the main town. However, it's not far from a lovely quiet beach (about 10 minutes walk), which is really quiet and relaxed, but with some bars around to top up your drink! Staff were lovely, really friendly, and served a good wee breakfast every morning.

This was a real experience”
We were upgraded to the pool view bungalow which was extremely spacious with a great view to both the garden and pool; perfect for the couple like us who prefers to sit back at the terrace and enjoy the tea while reading books. The outdoor shower made staying at their bungalows unique experiences. The resort also had so called “happy hour” in the evening with free drinks offered at the beach and it was just perfect for free cocktails and watching the sunset. The food, in fact the selection during breakfast and dinner were not pretty much but the flavors were delightful. Thing I loved the most about this resort was its beach restaurant. Great view, good service, fresh seafood at reasonable price, nice soft music and most of all, this was a real experience.

Just a wonderful paradise on an otherwise busy island”
We stayed here for just three nights and would have stayed longer if we had time. The resort has been open just three months and is full most nights. The manager, Kien takes time with each guest to explain what is available and is always looking for feedback. He is very forward thinking and energetic. The staff are amazing, all are polite, speak English very well and understand how a resort needs to be run. The bungaloo rooms are large and the bathrooms are beautiful - outside the rooms with plants right there. We loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone. We hope to be back again next year.

Ok but overpriced”
We stayed 3 nights by long beach and then 3 nights at this hotel by Ong Lang beach. It was expensive compared to other accommodation of the same standard. The room was nice, comfy bed and good breakfast (if you got there earlier otherwise most of the food would be gone). We got disturbed twice by the maids - the second time we got woken up by them banging on our door at 8am for housekeeping. The pool was nice at first but then went green like it needed cleaning. Also the sunbeds don't have beds so they're very uncomfortable. The beach is ok but Long Beach is better. Restaurants nearby (15-20 minute walk) are good. Overall I think there are better areas to stay and better accommodation for cheaper. We were also the only English speaking people there

Great experience ”
We wanted an experience near the beach but outside the main town. This venue was both. It was great to be surrounded by nature with a short walk to the beach. I'd recommend hiring motorcycles to explore the island and the local restaurants. Push bikes are complimentary but only a few available. The pool is great and breakfast was good. All in all if you are wanting a place to relax away from shops and traffic then this is your place. We did notice a lot of rubbish on the beach but unfortunately this is on most beaches surrounding the Island

Great rural choice, lovely setting”
Lovely setting amongst open jungle, short walk to lovely quiet beach with sunloungers, no other buildings along route. North end of beach easy walk/motorbike ride away. Beautiful gardens with flowers, lots of friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Restaurant with no walls just pillars and en-suite bathroom without roof for showering under stars (no insects/mosquitoes seen) herds of cows wandering freely outside resort and lots of birdsong made for a 'safari' type experience. Free airport transfers and happy hour a lovely perk. Would visit again
