Impressive Hostel with cute rooms”
After a loooong drive from the Hagiang province loop, the stay here in Meovac is surprisingly relaxing. Their rooms are cute and their food serving is better. Highly recommended. Travelled solo last July 20 from Hagiang all the way to Meovac in a day! :)

Very extraordinary homestay. We booked the king room, which is located in a very old house. The design and atmosphere ist really interesting, the bed is big an soft. Because there is no glass on the window the bed is covered with a big moscito net. But there are also some things, we didn't like. The rooms are separated by a thin wooden wall, so you hear really everything happening around. It's really not about privacy. Also the showers are separated and shared, but they are on the same floor and look very nice. The staff was friendly, we had no problems with communication.

We were 3 couples with 3 rooms booked on Agoda a month ago. We arrived at 7pm at that day and the receptionist told us 1 room were ocupied by a group of families who hadn't booked moments ago. He arranged 1 couple of my group to a room 500m away and the room turned out to be a dorm without private toiletries. When we asked him to get the booked room back, he said he couldn't do anything and begged my friends to stay in the temporary room. My friends were pissed off and decided to find another room outside. We do not accept such behavior to us as customer who booked and reserved the rooms a month ago.

A choice within Meo Vac District”
Location is good, in the center and easy to access. Room is quite small with simple equipment. In room is hotter than outside (although, it's a mosquitos garden so beware yourself). Staffs is helpful and nice.

Better for during the summer!”
The place itself is beautiful and it is definitely a great idea with all the bungalows. The only thing was that the shower(holder) was broke and there was only cold water or boiling hot water. Hard to have shower like this. For during the winter definitely not ideal. Extremely small rooms.

It's not even a room”
So we booked King bed room and was showed to a "kind of a room" on the 2nd floor. It's more like 4 wooden partitions put together with a 2m gap between the highest point of the wall to the ceiling, connected our room to the common area. And they put mattresses everywhere on the common area with at least 15 people sleeping there, right next to our wooden wall of probably 5cm thick. The hot water in the bathroom was the worst I've seen in my life. It was either too hot (above 60 Celsius) it burned our skin, or too cold. There is no way to adjust the temperature. And it was a very cold night there.

Super cheap but rather pay a little extra for a clean room”
This place has not been cleaned properly since they built it. Everywhere had cobwebs full of dead spiders. There was centipedes, toads and more huge spiders in the room. The walls mouldy, the bedding damp and probably not changed between guests. We had to move rooms 3 times due to problems and felt very uneasy having to eventually settle in one of them. If we hadn’t arrived so late we would have left. In the morning we asked for 2 glasses to have some coffee and they were so dirty and hadn’t been washed in so long, they were impossible to clean, due to a build up of grime. Do not recommend, pay a little extra and get somewhere worth sleeping.

Really lovely atmosphere at this place. And there's something so cool about all the different coloured rooms. The garden area is so beautiful and all lit up at nighttime. Plus you can walk to town in no time. The food in the restaurant is lovely and great size portions after a long day biking around the loop. Thanks guys and see you next time for sure

Pros: cute room, clean bathroom, great fan. Friendly staff. Cons: staff doesn’t speak great English and the menu is super limited so I struggled to find some thing I could eat and they couldn’t understand when I tried to modify something.

Everything was going well, except for the staff. He borrowed us money and didn't redeem it on our bill. He went out for his business and no staff at the hotel. Many guests was waiting for his back to do some plat, I had to translate to another guest that he had been back in 15 minutes as he asked me for help him but he was really back after 1 hour. So disappointed.

Good price but rooms were dirty ”
Rooms were pretty gross to be honest. Stayed in the AC unit pods. Although the rooms were not clean the staff was very friendly and super helpful in all ways needed. The fries were ungodly good though.
