"The hospitality was amazing!"”
On the day of our stay, we arrived later than planned, but we received a phone call in advance and were informed that there was a parking space available on the premises, so we could just come in. We were also given recommendations for some great restaurants for dinner, and the one we went to was a perfect choice. When we returned to the hotel, a different staff member at the front desk (who seemed to be working the night shift) unexpectedly invited us to listen to him play the shamisen while performing the Anki-bushi dance. He humbly said it was nothing special, but it was truly impressive! Moreover, we had a great time chatting with him and other guests. The hot spring was also amazing as it was a natural hot spring. We would definitely like to stay here again when we visit Tamatsukuri Onsen. Thank you very much!
Clean and breakfast is very abundant.”
The scent of the tatami mat is great, and the room is very clean. The shower and hot tub are located outside the room, but there is a toilet and sink inside the room for convenience. The breakfast is Japanese-style and very delicate, with different dishes served over the course of two days, showing the attention to detail. The hotel provides wooden clogs, yukatas, and haoris for guests to borrow, making it great for taking a stroll outside.
Warm and cosy “home” away from home”
Such a great value stay in a small traditional ryokan-style accommodation. The common lounge room feels like a cozy cafe, with some reading materials and some games to entertain you. There are lovely yukatas free for guests to use, too. The hot bath facility is nothing fancy but is all natural and sufficient. It really feels like as though you are in a luxury traditional Japanese home. All staffs are extremely polite, accommodating and ensure you have a comfortable stay.
Cute place to stay after visiting Matsue and Yonago”
Nice little Onsen place. The guesthouse is lovely with small Onsen inside. It's clean. Not sure if the rates are higher in long holidays (was there on Dec 28-29). Downside is it's too far from the station, and buses run infrequently. There's no Combini in the area. Not sure if the rates
Good value hotspring hostel in a nice small town”
The surrounding area is beautiful during the cherry blossom season. The hotspring at the hostel is not very big (enough for 3-4 ppls) but there is a large public bath 2 mins walk away
