This was my second stay at the Orakai Insadong Suites and I was not disappointed. The location is hard to beat - Insadong and Jongno are on your doorstep, and many of the major tourist and historic sites are a short walk away. My room was huge, well appointed and very comfortable. The cleaning service was great and offered at convenient times. The breakfast room was clean and the food was always delicious and fresh. I also appreciated that the breakfast room was quiet in the morning. The staff were always friendly and went out of their way to help (for example, they would make suggestions on transport options and would provide quotes on the cost of taxis which was very helpful). Finally, the gym included everything you might need and was well maintained. And I often had it to myself. The Orakai is great value for money and I would highly recommend it!

Highly recommended for families”
We (one adult and two 8yr-old kids) stayed in a two bedroom suite for 5 nights. It felt more like a small apartment rather than a hotel room. It had everything we needed (kitchenette, washing machine) and the kitchen was very well equipped with all utensils, small appliances, etc. The suite was very spacious. We invited a family member for two nights for 40k won (about usd $35-40) per night. Extra bed was provided and the place still felt spacious enough for all four of us. The view from our suite was spectacular. We could see Namsan tower, nearby skyscrapers which provided amazing night time view as well. The location is perfect: all the major museums and palaces were within a walking distance or less than 30 min by transportation. Subway stations are close and a ton of local restaurants offered so many choices. You step outside the hotel and can enjoy walking the Insadong street any time of a day. All staffs were prompt to requests and the facility was very clean. There is a grocery mart nearby so we cooked ourselves for breakfast and night time snacks. Bed was very comfy and it was very quite. Our boys enjoyed the swimming pool very much. It is big and very well maintained. I highly recommend this hotel to anybody. As a family with kids the hotel was perfect. I plan to reserve this hotel every time we visit Korea.

Three bedroom suites”
It was a super good experience for my family to stay in a three room suites with this price. I booked during promo. Whole suite is spacious, as big as a five room HDB. Kitchen is filled with all necessary appliances, utensils etc. Washing machine cum dryer saved a lot of my time from handwashing my clothes. Staffs are friendly and helpful, I can't feel they are smiling, it could be due to the mask covering their mouth. anyway I had a good stay. Just some suggestion 1) Let us know there is not toothbrush and toothpaste provided. I dont mind to bring my own, but not in a rush purchase it when I need to use at night. 2) King size bed for master bedroom is good, but it is springy type, so.... if only it is not so springy. 3) Shuttle bus to Lotte mart etc was suspended, it will be good if this can be updated in your website. By far the best hotel I've ever stayed. The hotel was true to the photos on the website, very clean, generously spacious, comes with a washer/dryer combo, adjustable central heat, strong water pressure, soaker tub and stand up shower, plus a full kitchen with all utensils. Staff were phenomenal, attentive, and friendly. Location was near three different subway lines and plenty of restaurants, bars, shopping, and convenient stores nearby. Nothing to complain about.

I have stayed multiple hotles and airbnb in Seoul, this was the best so far! The best location, it was huge. We stayed for 3 girls trip, i wish we stayed for longer! They had kitchens, washing machine and living rooms. I already recommended here to handful of my foreign friends. If you are planning to spend time longer with friends, as couple and loves walk around the area, I would highly recommend!

We had a 3 bedroom apartment that can comfortably take up to 5 -6 pax. Apartment was clean and spacious with a washing machine, microwave, dishwasher, stove and oven. Washing machine was a bit dirty so we didnt use it. Location is very near Anguk (5-7mins) and Jongno 3 ga (3mins) stations and the Insadong walking street is just at the doorstep with shopping and food options. 7-11 is just across a small road. Ikseondong Hanok Village is a 15-20min walk away. Staff are very helpful and helped us write the address in Korean to help with taxi services. They also helped us in ordering delivery. Would definitely stay again :)

My family with 3 children (high school and college) stayed in a three-bedroom and two bathroom place for a month. The rooms were spacious and comfortable for westerners like us (Korean-Americans). The facility was very clean and staffs were courteous and professional. They spoke English, which was very helpful. Also it’s located in Insa-dong street where there are many markets to shop from. People say that stores in Insadong is expensive since they’re geared towards tourists. But I have to say you can’t beat the convenience and fun shopping experience. Also if anyone wants to visit nam-dae-moon market (the great South Gate), then it’s only 10 minutes away by taxi or 15-20 minutes by bus. Also subways are nearby. We loved the location and would stay here again next time we visit Korea!

No matter how good the hotel room is, it is frustrating if you stay for more than a few days because the space is limited. Simply put, this is an apartment. Spacious space and all necessary facilities are provided. The surrounding transportation is also very convenient, and there are plenty of things to eat and see around. I always stay here whenever I travel to Korea (I visit at least once a year) and have never been disappointed. Parking for one car is free for guests. If you do not have a car, the car of the person who visits you is free. I recommend it even if you ask a thousand times

I am staying here for over a month (on personal/business trip) from July/August 2022, and here are some reasons why I recommend Orakai Insadong Suites and some tip if you stay here: * As someone travelling with family I was pleased with the COVID-19 precautions set by the hotel (e g. Checking temperatures and automatic hand sanitizing in the lobby entrance) *Rooms are pleasantly spacious, i was especially happy with how complete the kitchen space and amenities are. *Location: one of the biggest reasons to stay here.. you have Jongro3ga station right around the corner, and 2 other stations in a 5/8min walking distance *The staff is helpful amid the amount of guests staying in the hotel I haven't tried the breakfast area or the pool so I don't have comments on that.

I have no complaints, as this apartment is located in a convenient place where travel is soo easy, and below have alot of food and convenience stores if u happen to be hungry at night. Only downside is there is no housekeeping, but u can always call to ask for extra towel or trash bags. Definitely staying there again when i am back to Seoul.

What can I say? I would happily stay there forever. Apartment is big and comfortable. Gym and swimming pool is amazing and the spa pool in winter is just a blessing. Location is walking distance to the main tourist areas. Only place I would stay in when I go to Seoul next time.
