Relaxing and comfortable place for a break”
We found this hotel a wonderful place to be just for a break from the everyday rut. It is located on Orange Grove road, a lovely green area along with other residences and apartments so it was quiet and yet family-friendly. There is no room service offered, but the reception and housekeeping staff were extremely polite and helpful and displayed professionalism in their doings. Though the Agoda voucher did not include breakfast, we were offered a basic continental breakfast which was good enough for us to sit in the lobby with the other house guests who were cordial with us as well. The room though not modern or new had been kept very clean and everything we needed was there including enough plug points suited to any traveller's needs and kitchenette supplies and a complimentary welcome pack.

Great stay and good location ”
We had a comfortable stay at Orange Grove Apartments. The 1bdr room we got was clean and big enough for our young family. There was shared laundry facilities with washer and dryer and washing detergent was provided for free. Being a serviced apartment, housekeeping only clean once a week but the staff were responsive whenever we needed fresh towels etc. the apartment itself was clean. Location was good, less than 10 min walk to orchard road although no train station nearby so you’d rely taxis. The only complain I would have is we were asking for a late checkout and were willing to pay the half day rate of $100 as our return flight was in the evening. We kept getting told to check on the day of check out. When we did, we got told the system was down and they weren’t able to check availibility so we had to check out at the normal time. It was just a little frustrating as we had been asking for days and were willing to pay. Otherwise it was a comfortable stay and would recommend it.

Friendly & Helpful Staff at Darby Park ”
I stayed at Darby Park from 1-8 Nov in a one-bedroom apartment. The check in was smooth and the Front Desk staff Shah was very friendly. The apartment was clean and spacious, just like how it's always been since my previous stays over the years. I felt very much at home straightaway. Location wise, if you are up for a walk, it takes about 7-8 minutes to Orchard Road. I like the location because it's away from the hustle and bustle of Orchard yet still centrally located and close to everything. Although there's breakfast served from Mon-Fri (very basic stuffs) I prefer to make my own breakfast in the kitchenette. My fridge was well stocked throughout my stay so I never lacked anything. All in all it was a very pleasant experience especially my interactions with the friendly and helpful front desk, housekeeping and security staff. For the price I paid, I really think it's value for money. You can't go wrong by choosing Darby Park.

Homey, relaxed, and very convenient”
I like serviced apartments because they give you that homey feeling. That being said, some will find that serviced apartments like the comfort of a hotel. Rightfully so, because serviced apartments should allow you to your self, and do what you like as if it's you're home. Bur Darby Park Executive Suites go the extra mile. They provide breakfast service even if they don't have to, they provide shuttle services even if they're just a few minutes walk Orchard Road. Some thing that I appreciate, is the friendliness of the staff. Noah, the front office officer, has been very helpful and reliable all throughout our stay. The housekeeping staff are very courteous and they do ask you how you are and how they can be of help. I feel that the 7.1 rating in average is a bit underrated, because for me, my stay is a perfect 10.

It's an Apartment”
My family and kids stayed here one week and loved it. The apartment is furnished with a kitchen and cooking supplies. Don't expect much from the residence staff outside of getting new towels. They will not have someone clean your room, and there are no food options on site such as breakfast or room service. This is a great place if you want a large size room, and with a nice pool! There are washers and dyers available free of charge. The residence is located in a fancy area, about a 10 minute walk from a few malls. Overall we loved it and would stay here again.

This place is great! Some of the negative reviews on here are silly. The rooms are great for families, clean, comfortable, plenty of space of us and our 2 children under 5. The breakfast is simple but nice, the staff did a great job replenishing once something was out (breakfast is available M-F, which it clearly says on Agoda so I'm not sure why this was such a shock to some other reviewers). What's more is you get a kitchen in your room and there are supermarkets close by so we cooked our own most mornings. The gave us late check out at no extra cost and allowed us to store our luggage at the hotel while we went to a movie before our flight. Location is great, walking distance to malls, Gleneagle Hospital, restaurants, and very close to a bus stop. We will definitely come back the next time we are Singapore.

Excellent location with flexible accommodation”
At first we thought our room a little old and tired, in need of modernization, and didn’t like having carpet in the bedroom (a bit old and tired too) but after a day we realized what a perfectly functional and superbly located facility it was. We settled in for a great 9 day stay and couldn’t have been happier at the end of our stay. Thank you Orange Grove Apartments. We will stay with you again on our next trip!!!

Location is situated on a quiet neighborhood, just a short walk away from the busy Orchard Road and the Botanic Gardens. So if your interested in both shopping [Orchard Road] and nature tripping [Botanic Gardens], 12 Orange Grove is right on the center of it. The room is big for it's price although, the place needs a little updating.

Wide room , Value for money , City area”
Actually i booked for my friend’s family . But i visited there everyday . They have free parking . Room is studio room . So , compare with normal hotel rooms in Singapore , it’s a quite wide . There is swimming pool . About 5 mins walk from orchard road, bus stop and 10 mins walk from Orchard mrt .Anyway , My friend and his family enjoyed to stay there .

Awesome stay”
I was quite impressed with the staff. They are very helpful and service is excellent. The room is small but good enough for family w young children. Its a walking distance to Orchard road about 15-20 min walk. However , breakfast is not included , it could perhaps be because the lobby is too small and they only served small selection of pastries. Most taxi / grab taxi drivers do not know where this hotel is, so if you are planning to stay here just say its the hotel next to Shangri La hotel .

Peaceful location in the most popular area”
The location of this service apartment is very nice. It's in a peaceful residential area, but just 8 minutes walking distance to famous Orchard road. There is complementary breakfast (except Saturday Sunday), which is a bonus. Room amenities are abit old fashioned & needs major update & renovation. Hotel is clean & staffs are friendly.

A Very Pleasant Stay”
Bad thing is, there are bugs on the sofa. It's a pretty old apartment. You don't expect round the clock service like hotel. Good things are, when I requested to have towel placed on sofa. I was given bedsheets plus towels within 5mins. Staffs are very polite. You have a lot of privacy. Apartment cleaning once a week. I like quiet, so this place & the price I paid. I was very happy with it.

The best location with best price for short term stay”
You will unlikely to find another serviced apartment in Orange Grove Road at this price. Not even in other popular areas in Singapore. BTW, understand this property will be tearing down in September 2019 for re-development into a private condo so only for these few months available for all to enjoy. Unfortunately, most days are fully booked from now...

Pros Staff were friendly Location was convenient (5min walk to main road and start of orchard road) Bed was comfortable Cons Booked premier 2BR because it looked new and modern in the photos but it turned out totally different. Room was old and had a musky smell. The amenities in the room also differ in both bedrooms. One had a hair dryer the other didn't. Same goes for the bedroom slippers. Bedroom could probably have a ceiling light too instead of just 2 side lamps.

A good place to stay ”
Friendly helpful staff which allowed us to leave luggage on last day & enjoy Singapore, then come back use pool, have shower, get fresh before our night flight. Very much appreciated! Lovely apartment in great location to catch taxis to zoo, Singapore flyer & sentosa. Could walk to botanic gardens but taxi only $4.50 to go there & then enjoy strolling from entrance. Air was a little stale in apartment but ok if you open front door to get fresh air for a little bit each day. Free wifi was wonderful!

Long weekend stay”
Unit was spot on bang for your buck. Stayed with 4 adults and 2 children. Walking distance to Orchard road (grocery, bus stop, restaurants, shops, etc) . Has cooking essentials like stove, rice cooker, toaster, utensils, etc... Good for saving money on breakfast and just make it yourself. Stay was pleasant and staff was attentive. The only thing was the in house wifi was not working. Not a big deal as we bout the $12 sgd 100GB sim card.

Excellent despite a few initial hiccoughs”
Arrived 6am having booked accommodation from the previous day to ensure we could go straight in to our room after 12h flight with 3 and 5y old. Met by security guard who was very helpful and he checked us in/showed us to our room. Unfortunately at the room he noted the aircon wasn’t working, and was unable to move us - BUT he did tell us we could complimentary breakfast started at 6.30 and there would be someone in at reception to help at 7 despite it saying 8.30 in the room info which was really helpful. Sure enough reception arrived at 7 and they provided us with an alternative suite to sleep in whilst the aircon was fixed and by the time we rose from our slumber it was fixed and we returned to our intial Suite. All in all very helpful, very clean, good location and able to solve problems as they arose.

These apartments are a big with a lounge/kitchen and two separate bedrooms with bathrooms. It is much cheaper than a hotel and a short walk to Orchard Road.

These apartments are spacious and well appointed for the price. Is in a great spot just around the corner from orchard road. Once I found this place we have stayed here every year, its the very good value for money. Highly recommend
