Clean room, delicious breakfast, and helpful personal. Highly recommendable.
Very basic. Clean but rooms have NO windows
Nice to be out of the hustle of bustle of the surrounding city. Nice rooms and good food. Definitely recommend!
The room is very small but you can spent your free time at the terrase. There is free drinking watter. Brekfest is good. Booking the van and toureguide for underground river were really helpfull.
Felt let down by Agoda ”
We stayed for one night and after booking on the this web site was expecting a double room. When we arrived we was advised by the manger all standard rooms are bunk beds. I then shown her how Agoda allowed you to chose ur bed type and we stated a double bed. The hotel didn’t offer any soulution and said it’s Agoda who informed us incorrectly. I have Emailed Agoda customer service but had not correspondence back.
The staff were accomodating and nice at all times, great value of money.
We booked the couple's room but the owner gave us the triple sharing room instead maybe because we checked in late at around 8pm. I was able to talked to her while waiting for our shuttle service going to El Nido and she (Ms.Cynthia) gave me advise on what to expect and what to do in El Nido. The staffs were very good to us from the time we knocked on their door up to the time we're about to leave. I will definitely stay here again because they treat you as if they are your a family. Good job & keep it up!
The location is great but the room is not spacious , horrible smell,, bathroom is not well maintained rusty racks, broken doors. Staff is very helpful. They start serving breakfast after 0700 am despite you will request to serve 06.45, not even let us to have a packed breakfast as the tour start early @ 7 am. It’s not good for longer stay.
Decent place to stay for a night or two.
Clean & with in the City ”
I love the place due to fact is very accessible to very area of the city, the Manager & staff was very nice and accommodating. Really my short limited time vacation was perfect . I really highly recommended the place to stay in PPS.
Really nice place and helpful staff.
Awesome little find in PP”
Glad we found this place in PP! Good value for money, especially the double room which is spacious. Shared bathroom but it is clean (though small). Bed is comfy (there was a cockroach in our room one night but it's Palawan, not much you can do about that). Breakfast was good! Eggs, toast, and bacon freshly made. Location is good and close by to a lot of shops on Rizal Ave. The best part about it is the staff though! Incredibly helpful, and gave us yummy snacks while we were hanging out during the day.
Cosy stay, amazing breakfast ”
We had a double room (shared bathroom), the room was small but did the job. Mattress was comfy and linen smelt nice. The room could do with further dusting. The bathroom was tired but clean. Location is not bad about a 60 pesos tricycle ride. We booked the underground tour through the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it - the tour leader was knowledgeable and super enthusiastic! The only downside was that the van was very very small and uncomfortable. We also booked transport to el Nido with them and this time the van was standard sized, it was clean and the driver was nice. Be warned that you will be driving around for at least an hour before you actually get onto the main road - not sure why but drivers just pick up and drop off random people / stuff. This also happened on our way back to PP to catch our flight. Breakfast changes everyday and it is soooo yummy. The staff is lovely too!
Very lovely staff and breakfast”
We stayed here before a trip to el nido. It was well air conditioned and the wifi was fantastic. We came back after the trip in el nido! The staff are so helpful and locely - would recommend!
very cute place”
I really liked staying at the Orange Mangrove. The Manager and staff were so friendly and helpful. I felt very welcome there. The location is very central - only 15 minute walk to the Bay area. I liked that there is a great vegetarian eatery just next door called Namaskar. Loved the food there! The only small downside was the slight noise from the motorcycles in the street but you can't hear that in the rooms that do not face the street. Highly recommended!
A beautiful Oasis in a bustling city”
Orange Mangrove was a beautiful and peaceful hotel located right in the city. As soon as you walk in it feels more serene. It is beautiful place and the room was a great size. The staff were incredibly helpful and nice. The breakfast was delicious and they even worked with our early departure time. There was free drinking water always available which was a great help. I will definitely be staying here again.
Very good hotel”
It's Like home !
Creepy, dirty, ugly ”
It is a pity there is no possibility to upload pictures here, as I had some that would speak for themselves. We booked a "luxury room" for two. Looked more like a cellar to me, there was no window, the air conditioner was leaking severely on the red painted ground from which the paint was peeling all over. As soon as you walk in it you have peeled paint on your feet, then when you get on the bed and it spreads all over. There was only a shared bathroom which was disgusting, smelling and full of cockroaches and mosquitoes. To the point my girlfriend did not dare to have a shower. Dozens of mosquitoes also in our room (next to the toilets) so we asked to change to another room. The boss seemed very happy with our request, as if she was waiting for it, and proposed us the only available room, similar to the first one but less mosquitoes. We said OK and she asked for 1200pesos more (20$) because the price we paid on Agoda was very low bla-bla-bla ! We had to negotiate hardly to get a discount and pay "only" 800 pesos more... After that we stayed in the Philippines for 10 days and never encountered such a rip off ! I hope other travelers will not get scammed as we were.
Walls are super thin and o was kept awake ALL night by the very loud traffic. The one TINY bathroom is shared with everyone and is way too small. Also lots of little flies got into the room somehow. The only good thing was breakfast, either omelette and toast or filippino breakfast.
Good value good service good staff”
Will happily stay again, staff are very pleasant and rooms are clean and tidy.
