Accomodation is fine
room, internet, clean bathroom with hot and cold water
The receptionist welcomed us well and good thing was, he can speak in English. We liked the room. However, we were overcharged by one of the staff when we asked him to buy us a sim card. That was a bit disappointing. But it is still a good place to stay and we will as well recommend it to our friends.

Comfortable, Staff attitude mixed
Location, Location, Location
Stayed here two nights. Room and facilities were appropriate to price. Excellent location in heart of tourist area. Day staff were efficient and well-mannered. Late afternoon/evenings a young, heavy set security guard sat at the reception desk and was not not always polite in his manner. Impersonal hotel. Much prefer to stay in the many small budget hotels in HCMC. Room not cleaned properly on check-in.

Okay room, overpriced, convenient, noisy location.
Super location for catching onward bus, bars
Located in the heart of backpackers area, this overpriced hotel offers small, musty rooms, unfriendly staff and the sleaze and noise the area offers. Our booking was supposed to include breakfast but restaurant was closed for 5 days and no food. It was convenient for catching an onward bus.

great location, small rooms
well located free breakfast
i stayed here a total of four nights and whilst my room was comfortable and surprisingly quiet for its location it was a small room, with not much space for my luggage. i was not able to get any wifi reception in my room but the signal was good in the reception area of the hotel. mini bar prices were very reasonable and breakfast was good for a freebie

Old but clean
Near many food eateries
Stayed here for the convenience of taking the Phuong Tranh bus to Dalat. Room is small and old but quiet clean. When you first enter there is a musty smell but you get used to it when the aircon is in full swing. Breakfast is set with eggs and bread and choice of drinks.

Greatest value for money
value for money, superb location, lively surroundings, helpful staff, cosy rooms
this hotel is definitely the most value for money one i've stayed in, during my two trips to vietnam. while the rooms aren't very big, it's cosy enough to make one feel comfortable. the hotel is situated at one of the livelier tourist districts in hcmc, ensuring ample activity all though out the day - food, souvenier shops, bars etc. galore! furthermore, if you are into day tours, the seemingly endless number of local tour agencies at the area is choice. the staff at the hotel are extremely helpful; i recall an incident where i asked for a travel adapter (to which i was told there's only one in use at the lobby), and the receptionist at the desk volunteered to head outside to buy one for me. going back to the rooms, although it feels more like one that's in a house, and the bed/sheets aren't great; it's, like i've said, well worth the money spent and great if you're opting for lodging around this price range. did i mention there's wifi too?
