Very good”
Beginning to feel a little tired. Executive villas are worth the extra. Upstairs bbq and hot tub great, but the hot tubs are beginning to fall apart. Breakfast limited but good, with eggs cooked to order. Staff efficient but lacking in smiles. Location close to Sam roi yod and kao kalok and not far from pranburi and dare I say it - Tesco....

Great comfort with an odd twist”
I don't think I will go here again, despite the large numbers of stars above. Why? Well... Upon arrival we get the feeling that the guest is the enemy. We are presented with a set of rules which we have to sign - and on those rules a list of fines is mentioned; it creates the feel of a police state. Pool towels are available, but through a complex system - and if you, the guest, bugs the system you will be held responsible for a rather large sum of money. The accommodation is very comfortable, except that when we arrived at 15:30 (check in is supposedly after 14:00) the beds hadn't been made yet. The plumbing in the shower is almost even with the wall, and there's no place in the shower to put soap and shampoo - except on the floor. The shower cream, shampoo and conditioner are placed next to the washbasin - which is unreachable when you're under the shower. The air conditioning is cold enough, but the filters could - in our case - could do with a rinse. Everything on or below eye level was very clean, but the top of the curtains could do with a serious dusting. The pool is awesome - heated, and deep enough to swim comfortably. However, at the weirdest and most unexpected places there are submerged walls - some of them in the same colour as the floor, which makes it uncomfortable to bump into. Also around the pool, signs show the guest-is-the-enemy mentality: certain things are not allowed (like in any pool; and stating that is not the problem), but the line stating what the fine is makes it an unpleasant experience to be around. Breakfast is served Thai style; even the western food: Farmhouse bread (which is well too sweet to be pleasant eating) and DHT milk to go with corn-flakes or muesli; and while the muesli tastes good, I missed the option of yoghurt. The Thai food at breakfast was - according to my Thai wife - also sub-standard. And now that we're on the food subject - the room service is, for Thai standards - beyond expensive. I can't say anything about t

Bad service”
The overall location is so so. Only good thing is a pool in front of the villa. All options are money and money. 800B extra charged for the child up 7 years old. Also less than 7 years old will be charged 600B. More 150B extra charged for restricted ABF. And the amazing extra charge was the glasses and plates washing. I got paid more 200B。

Miles from Anything”
This resort could be anywhere; Spain, Turkey, Greece, Dubai . . . . Aimed at package tourists or time sharers this place misses what it means to be in Thailand as it is too remote. If one has a car, as we had and wants to explore Sam Roi Yot national park every day or the deserted beaches in the park where one can only swim at some times of year due to access, this place is fine. The facilities; gym and pools plus rooftop jacuzzi and barbecue seem really inviting but the pools are too shallow, lots of the gym equipment is poorly installed and broken, the rooftop jacuzzi did not get warm enough to get in and the barbecue . . . . unless you ave a car you would have to rely on the resort to provide you with an expensive meat platter. Ok for a day or so if you have a car but otherwise a bust
