Pleasant Surprise”
I was very skeptical to book here because of some negative reviews online but I decided to bite the bullet and was pleasantly surprised. The room we got was good for three people (1 double and 1 single bed). The room was spacious and had everything we needed for a couple of night’s stay. We were only supposed to stay for a night but decided to book another day. WiFi signal was a bit spotty from our room but we didn’t spend too much time on the internet anyway. This hotel is located in the quiet area but still within close proximity of TST and other shopping areas. It was only a 5-minute walk from Prince Edward MTR station (red line) which connects you to all major attractions in Hong Kong.

The Room is Very Small”
Yup, you open the door and the bed is in front of you, left side is very small toilet, only 2 people max and it will be really hard to move. Very small room but its not very rare in Hongkong especially in the very good location, near Subway and there are a lot of minimarket outside. Easy to go anywhere in the downtown. The service is also very good, fast and clean.

We booked 2 rooms and one of them had bed bugs. The bathroom is a bit too narrow and the room was dim. Other than that it was a nice place to stay situated at a good location

Very clean, accommodating reception”
Checked in early due to my wife motion sickness while on the plane, the reception was considerate and allowed us to checked in early. The room was cleaned everyday, noticed that cleaner even scrubbing the walls with disinfectant. Walking distance to Ladies market and Sham Shui Po, Given the chance to go back HK will definitely stay at Oriental Lander.

We often go to hk for an overnight stay, Oriental lander is the best place i have stayed in so far.. i Love the place since its very near to bike shops which my husband Loves to visit but the location is quite far from shops area for ladies. it's a bit of a walk to the nearest MTR station though (10 to 15min) depends on how fast you walk lol. Staff are courteous, bed looks clean. Had a good night sleep. It's in a residential area though.

Lobby smells good, rooms are a bit small but would do if you just sleep and out most of the day, place is clean, but hidden nook like the window sides are a bit dusty, they provide cheap water daily, only a few channel in the t.v and can only use one outlet...other than that, the place is reasonable to stay at given the rate. Highly recommended to those who doesnt want too many crowd outside the hotel but 1 to 2 km walk and you are in mongkok area.

Small but Clean room”
Oriental Lander Hotel is not easy to find when you are a first timer. But when you reach the hotel, it is way conveniently a few minutes walk from Prince Edward Station. Has near grocery shops and resto nearby. The room is small but clean. Everyday there are staffs cleaning without worrying or your stuffs. It is reallt safe. Our iverall stay was very comfortable.

Walking distance from Sham Shui Po. Near Prince Edward MTR. Clean but small rooms. Great staff. However, this is the second year in a row we have been awaken from sleep after midnight due to the fire alarms, probably set off by smokers in the building. It happened 2 nights during this stay. Worst part is not knowing whether there is a real emergency or not.

This hotel saved our HK adventure”
We were initially booked in a different hotel with a rude staff, dirty rooms. We were forced to look for another hotel just after 1 night. We came by this hotel via agoda.com and was the complete opposite of our original hotel. Location was safe and near to MTR, peaceful, quiet, staff are friendly even though there is language barriers sometimes and the rooms, was clean. We have 2 kids and we enjoyed our stay. Thanks to this hotel, our HK trip was saved.

The price for 3 star hotel in HK was a very good deal. Location just a short walk from the prince Edward station. The room is quiet small but accommodating enough just the bathroom is super small for us. But overall is good. Staff is also doing their job well but I just wished their hospitality level can be raised a bit more for example simple greetings and smiles can be more welcoming for us as guests. But I did not expect so much regarding the price I pay so overall the experience was ok. We enjoyed our stay here.
