The best rest house I stayed in Oman during this trip”

I was upgraded to a big clean quiet room. The owner and staffs were very patient with me. I joined the desert camp to Wahiba desert, it was an amazing and fascinating experience. Highly recommemded.

Great location”

The property is located in a key location which is closer to Wahiba Sands (Bidiya) and Wadi Bani Khalid. We stayed there 1 night visiting both of these sites and stay was fairly comfortable. Since we have an infant and two young kids, we decided not to stay in the middle of the desert and chose this location. We left Muscat around 10am on a rainy day and didn’t want to take the Route 23 towards Ibra from BidBid as there are many wadi crossings on the way. So we came through Amrat-Sur and had lunch in CityWalk mall (Sur). From Sur, the existing road to Ibra is good while the new highway is being constructed as well. This property is located in the left side of the Wadi Bani Khalid junction when we drive towards Ibra from Sur. We arrived by 3pm on first day and could enjoy the sun set in Bidiya area where sand dunes are starting from. Second day we enjoyed the breakfast Buffett from the property which is available for a very reasonable price. I would rate this high in a 2* grade property. We checked out and visited the water pool and cave site of Wadi Bani Khalid which is a must go site in Oman. The only restaurant surveys delicious local cuisine and available as lunch buffet at 4OMR per adult. We left the site around half past 2 and reached Muscat before night fall.

An excellent place to visit wadi khalid and the sand dunes”

The property has very comfortable and large rooms. The cuisine is simple but tasty and well prepared. The owners are friendly. Only disadvantage is the location, far from any urban area (but allowing easy access to wadi khalid and the sands.) good place, recommended!

Perfect location to explore the dessert”

We did a last minute booking. The staff was so nice. Arranged us dinner when the restaurant was closed, organized a 4x4 drive into the dessert the morning after and gave us excellent advice (plus a bag of dates for the rest of our trip). On top of that, the rooms are huge, clean and comofrtable

Good Value ”

We wanted to camp at the wadi but it started to rain so we looked for a guesthouse. We found a perfect bed, nice pool, great staff and a good breakfast. There is not much around the hostel but for a night or two to visit the wadi it's a great place! With great service!

Nice hotel, great value for money and very friendly and service-oriented staff”

When we arrived at the Hotel we were welcomed by the owner. His son worked there for another couple of days before he started his new job. I had many good conversations with both of them. They were very kind, helpful, generous and interested in meeting new people. When we did the check-out for leaving the Hotel I was taught what hospitality means to the Omanis.

Good & peaceful stay .”

we stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. basic reason to visit wadi bani Khalid on the way sur to nizwa. The staff was cooperative. specially food was awesome... they prepared as per our need. Location was good , silent and peaceful. Rooms were basic but clean. WIFI was poor. but that doesn't affect us much. Owner was good person and informative.

Perfect hotel when you want to visit Wadi Bani Khalid a little bit longer than common tours.”

Perfect for visiting Wadi Bani Khalid in the way you sant it. Enough choices for breakfast and diner. Despite little english of the staff, they help you with everything. The owner, a really nice man, will help you in perfect english and will provide all the information you require.

well out of town”

the location is well away from the nearest town and although there is a menu, they do not anticipate many diners. Comfortable enough room. The reception have no information on where to go or what to do in the area.

Simpel tourist hotel, close to Wadi Bani Khalid. It is convenient if you are tired after the day spent in Wadi as situated just few km om the highway (direction to Muscat).
