Low price but not value for money”
I stay a night for next morning early high speed railway to Gao Hsiong. It is very near to Taoyuan station, but a bit far from the Airport and HSR Taoyuan station (Note: Taoyuan station and HSR Taoyuan station are 2 different stations and quite far apart). Just about 10-15 minutes walk to the Taoyuan station. There is a shuttle bus from Taoyuan station to HSR station. Might not be comfortable, is okay for solo traveler and a temporary stay without much luggage.

The location of the hostel is great. Just 5-7 mins walk from Taoyuan train station. However, the hostel in only 8th floor of the huge building that requires keycard to get in. You need to call the staff, so that she come down to pick you up. If you have no cell phone then it will be a little inconvenience. The staff can speak English though (not that perfect but she is communicable). It takes around 30 mins from the hotel to the airport by car (my friend drove me there). But I guess it would take 45 mins to an hour if you take the bus from Taoyuan station.

Less than 10 mins easy walk to Taoyuan train station and bus stop where you can catch the 706 bus to Taoyuan airport (approx. 30-40 min ride to airport but depending on traffic). You may need to phone the hostel when you arrive because front roller door not always open. Up a few floors but has an elevator. 7 Eleven directly accross the road. Very basic but clean facilities. Female dorm had bunks for 12 people.

Very hospitable and friendly staff!! They even have their own pamphlet that recommends you on what to eat in th vicinity, and what activities to do in Taoyuan. Location was pretty great for some night life as well. The interior of the hostel, albeit does not feel like a hostel but more like a campsite (especially e toilet), the stay was comfortable and all the necessities were provided! One suggestion: Install reading lamps for every bunk bed. Even with the main lights on, the bed area was pretty dark, especially on the lower deck.

Convenient location, suitable for one Night stay”
Take 706 bus from Taoyuan International airport and walk approximately 10 min from the alighted stop. Staff was very helpful as I arrived at about 9pm plus and the shutter gate was closed. He came to lead the way to the hostel. Suitable for one night stay. Bathroom and basin area can be improve in cleanliness. Overall good experience staying for a night.

I wouldjust like to commend the receptionist of the hostel harry. He was very accommodating, friendly, ready to help, can understand and speak english, smart and mostly very caring to the guests. You would love to stay in that place because you know that there is a receptionist like harry whos helpful and always ready to assist you.

Only The Shower Room Is Bad”
I was impressed with the kindness of the staff. The staff helped me reserve taxi at seven eleven which is located in front of the hostel at 4:30am. However, the shower room was quite dirty. I found a lot of dust. I was satisfied with this hostel except shower room.

My bed was upper deck, no power point allocated to me. It was my first night in Taiwan after whole day of flight, i need to charge my phone and powerbank. No bath towel provided also another drawback, other hostel/homestay do provide. After all, if only want a bed for sleeping this hostel still meet the bare minimum thou. Will not recommend this if there is another option.

Facilities is normal. No shampoo or hair shampoo provide. Dint open aircon, feel abit hot when sleep. Because only depand on fans and natural ventilation. Overall is a good place for short stay.

they do not have the sign about the hotel ,and we can not find the door about it, if you want to go into it , you must call the boss number to let her come out to pick you,it is so weird about this. most of all ,It do not offer the air conditioning all the time ,it offer from 8 p.m to 7 a.m.

It is worth staying here and for those who arrive the airport very late”
I stayed here becuase I arrived the airport quite late at night and I couldn't book the two nearest hostels. Just take a bus no. 706 and get off at Tao garden hotel. The staff member I met is very kind to me and the price is very reasonable.
