Everything went well from pick up at the airport to our departure.Francois could not have been kinder going the extra mile to ensure I had plenty of gluten free food to eat at dinner and breakfast.Thanks to a great team at Outlook Lodge. We can absolutely recommend if you want a lovely stay near the airport..

Nice room but lounge area cold and uninviting.”

as mentioned the lounge area could have been much better. can't understand why francois didn't have a lovely warming fire going for his guests on one of the coldest nights johannesburg had, unseasonal he told us. the whole day on the 6th sept. 2012, it rained, thunder and lightening flashed and we didn't venture out of our room because the rest of the lodge was cold and dark. that evening we sat with 3 other guests and were all frozen as we ate our dinner. must say that meal, ostrich, was delicious.

Comfortable stay ”

Wonderful as before, convenient to airport & easy access to restaurants. The shower wasn't very hot but room is spacious and Francois made sure we were warm enough on the chilly night. Great healthy breakfast, beautifully presented.

Great for an overnight stay”

Very comfortable room with necessary basics. Beds and linen are comfortable and fresh. Bathrooms are a bit outdated but clean. Rooms reasonably quiet with the only noise coming from the wooden floor boards above. Dstv available in room with great selection of channels. Food personally prepared - very nice. Location is easy to find with plenty of parking.

Nice old building”

The manager has 3 dogs which are friendly but they leave lots of dog hair on furnature - The downstairs rooms are not insulated from rooms above and can be noisy when people walk on floorboards in the first floor rooms. Hot water takes a very long time to get to the shower

Francois made everything work for us: you can rely on him to smooth the wrinkles from your travel arrangements, organize food, cars, drivers. The location is excellent for the airport and quiet. Shopping mall and pub nearby.

The room was lovely, even though one of the double basins was cracked. I liked my room the only problem was it is next to the boom gate street so it was noisy due to cars passing by. The place is sufficient for the prize, however host completely ignored me throughout my stay, but the staff was nice.

Als opstapje voor onze rondreis door Zuid-Afrika was dit een prachtige start. Heerlijke ruime kamers, met smaak ingericht. Leuke zitkamer met open haard in het hoofdgebouw. De accommodatie ligt in een rustige buurt. Fijn ook dat er een pick-up service geregeld was om ons van en naar de luchthaven te brengen.
