Exotic Beach Hostel”
Excellent for travelers who are looking forward to meeting new friends and loves to party. This is the perfect place to watch the sunset at El Nido after a long tiring day of fun adventures. Value for money is quite expensive compared to other hostels offering same mixed dorm room. Location is quite far too from the town center. Staffs and tour guides are super duper friendly. they will assist you with whatever your concern will be. From booking your van, arranging tours and so on.
Great stay, great vibe”
Amazing hostel, with even better staff. Swimable beach right at the doorstep. Great food, comfy bed. The only negative I can come up with is the bizarre shower pressure. It did not affect our enjoyment of the hostel, I just thought it was worth mentioning.
Outpost is FUN!”
We stayed in their Family Room. My wife & I, with our 4 kids ages 17 to 24. As expected in a hostel, accomodations were quite spartan. But Room was always clean, fresh towels were always available, the A/C aided by a ceiling fan was sufficient despite it being the middle of summer. It wasn’t luxury accomodations but were were quite comfortable, and isolated from the noise of the bar/resto. The staff are the BEST. ALWAYS with a smile and calling you by your first name, always looking to help you out. The food is great! Very tasty and portions are enough to satify a Viking. Its a party place, but only til 10:30pm as per neighborhood regulations. May not be suitable for young kids, or if you prefer a serene atmosphere. I highly recommend joining their daily island tours. Its a great way to meet fellow travellers. The crew is so much fun. Always looking for ways to entertain you with some humor and dancing, or a quick game of volleyball on the beach. They also serve a great lunch.
The Best Hostel Ever!”
I was our first time to book on a hostel and gladly we chose the right one. By the time we were greeted by their staff when we arrived I knew that our experience will be fun. We were on a group but we chose a separate private room with my girlfriend. And even their private room was neat, spacious and just cozy. They have the best food from breakfast to late night food. They even do request foods and drinks if available. And what makes them the best hostel in El Nido are their staff. We were assisted and treated like their family throughout our stay. Our trip just gotten better because of them. And if will ever going back to El Nido, we will surely book their place again. Kudos to you guys!
If you skip this hostel, you are missing out big time!!!”
Amazing athmosphere from the minute we stepped in, outpost has surpassed our expectations in more ways than one. The staff are the most amazing people you'll ever meet and they really treat you like family! It is a party hostel but rules of quiet hours are still kept to the T, apart from the ocasional early rising barking dog but who cares? =p The private rooms are amazing and cleanliness in the hostel is spot on! Be careful though because you will not want to leave and you will make friends for life! We will definetly come back really soon! Thank you for everything outpost!!
I could say this place is perfect. They have the perfect location if you love to witnessed the beautiful sunrise and sunset in El Nido. I really loved this place from the moment I checked in since they have the nicest and super b accomodating staffs. They were serving delicious food. (Chicken Sandwich is so yummy) The party at night is the best here. This place is perfect for solo travelers you can meet a lot of people here. I will recommend this place to my friends who will visit El Nido and I’m gonna come back. Thank you for the great stay Outpost Beach Hostel!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Among the cleanest hostel I've been to”
Spacious with many hangout areas and nice a terrace for drinking and sunset hunting. The bed is comfortable with 2 outlets beside, AC works well, no power cut off during my stay, very helpful and smiley staffs. They always try to keep the bathroom clean with cleaning ladies going back and forth, which is a big plus. The only issue for me is that foods are quite overpriced.
Great party hostel”
The hostel is slightly far from downtown El Nido. But they make up for it by organising their own tours A, B, C, D which depart straight from the waterfront of the hostel, when it is at high tide in the morning. I enjoyed the party atmosphere and if you are tired from socialising or drinks, just retreat to the comfort of your dormitory. Staff are really friendly and made me feel at home.
Way above the standard of a hostel”
Although this place aims at younger folks looking for party with social events including beer pong and trivia nights it was an amazing place for us "older" guys. The party stops around 11 p.m. and everyone up for the party makes their way to El Nido Proper. For people staying behind the place then turns out to be relaxed and quite to catch a good night of sleep. The double bed rooms as well as the facilitis are very clean and spatious. I'd recommend that place definitively.
One of the best hostel experience in PH.”
Warning you that this place is always jampacked with tourist. So if you want a quiet place to relax this hostel is not for you. But bar closes at 1030pm so if you still wanna mingle and sleep early you'll probably should consider this place. Yes it is beach front but you cannot really swim specially in the afternoon coz its low tide most of the time. I love all the local crews. 🙌 Pros Easy to find Spacious beds Restrooms are cleaned more that twice a day Security guards are everywhere during the night time. Cons No signal inside the room so you need to access all messages and phone calls in their common area. Which gets noisy between 6-11pm so if you need to accomplish work , this place is not for you. FOOD IS CRAP. lol I ordered 6 different meals and I never liked one. Even one of the tasted my food and didn't gave any comment how their food tastes like haha
The best hostel I've stayed in so far!”
We had a great stay.Food was great. Big servings and reasonably priced. I highly recommend the Crispy Pork Sisig Staff and every one was great, including the owners, housekeeping and even the guards! Special shoutout to Darren and Gerson! Everyone was friendly, accommadating and fun! And most importantly, the place is well-run and organized. If I go back to El Nido, will surely stay at the Outpost again! To be honest, I booked this hostel.without reading a lot of reviews. Agoda had this hotel rated high and rates were very reasonable and so I just went ahead and booked it and NO REGRETS! Again, this is by far the best hostel I've stayed in.
Staff very friendly, food excellent, the staff were always up for giving you a good fun time, steps down to it are a bit of a nightmare if you have any leg injury, i had bad knee and struggled a little but if you don't mind that then it's a great location and view.
Staff here are great! They are friendly, engaging, and really gives this place a lot of heart! Beds in the private room are surprisingly very comfortable though the "blanket" is really more of just a sheet. They provided towels and bottled water but better to bring your own toiletries. We stayed in a private room and at night the top floor was noisy, lots of slamming doors and other guests being loud in the hallway - oh well! Shower pressure wasn't the best, but it was good enough. Restaurant was amazing - but take note of their hours as I often made it to breakfast about 1 minute after the kitchen shut. If you can catch them while they're open they make a tasty breakfast and for dinner their pizzas are not to be missed. WIsh they offered the dinner menu throughout the day! To get to this hotel you go down some precarious steps and walk along the beach, when the tide is high that means you're wading through water so better for waterproof shoes and backpacks instead of suitcase.
If you're traveling alone and want to meet people then this will be a good place to stay at, drinks are cheap and good location for some sunset drinks because they're view's amazing. Went here because a friend recommended the place and it's the cleanest hostel ive been to in PH.
Social Hostel in El Nido”
Location is a bit far from El Nido Town therefore the food choice is very limited. Access from the main road is very easy. Staff were super nice & accommodating. Hostel vibe is very social, met a lot of new friends from all over the world. A/C & Wi-Fi were both not working during our stay but was all good. Glad they offer different water for brushing ones teeth due to dirty El Nido water. I'll stay here again when I go back to El Nido.
Can’t wait to be back!”
Outpost will always have a place in my heart! I literally shed a tear as I checked out because I never wanted to leave. The people are amazing, the food is great, the nightlife is lit! The tours are super fun as well! My overall experience was so memorable and I can’t wait to be back next year! Outpost completed my El Nido experience and I’m so happy I got to live the outpost life.
Recommended for solo travelers who want to party!”
Hostel is super fun and social - the staff made me feel really welcome. All our nights would start at Outpost! Location wise it is a 5-8 min tricycle ride to town. Food could've been priced slightly lower and they need to polish on their cocktail making skills. There was a mistake on my booking and came back to hostel w all my stuff on the floor (unnecessary) but Chris defo was quick to react and handle the situation. Toilets were OK but they did an excellent job keeping them clean as much as they could (we ARE on an island after all guys..). One complain would be that using the power plug with adapters would not work as your bed light could not be switched on whilst doing so.
Perfect for sunsets”
Private room is too expensive for what it is. You need to like parties and loud music because from 6 to 11 it is crowded with people and music is loud. Amazing place for sunsets and we did one island tour and it was great.
10/10 will be coming back”
My stay at outpost was incredible. Best experience I had in the Philippines. The hostel itself is in good condition and the atmosphere lends itself to meeting new people extremely easily. The local staff are some of the most fun guys I met. The boat tours they run are combination and serve awesome fresh food onboard. Everyone I met wanted to extend their stays here. Be sure to book well in advance, as they fully book nightly!
I booked one week at Outpost due to the rave reviews from friends who had stayed there in the past. I knew the hostel was a party hostel and I was excited! HOWEVER the hostel has no wifi OR service in any of the rooms. I believe the purpose of this is to force guests to socialize. I hated this a lot because I felt like I was unable to unwind or escape at the end of the night. Very inconvenient. I would not stay here again.
