Prior to booking, i read the review from different site abt this hotel and all the review on hygiene level or the old furniture’s or even the lift makes me worried. But because of the complimentary parking (first come first serve) and nearby to 1 mrt, I booked the hotel and prepare to brace through the scary feedback Upon arrival on Monday 10pm at the mrt station, The hotel is just a 2-minute walk and nearby got Chinese eateries. I can see all parking is available and the entrance is bright, clean and neat plus the front office is friendly and efficient. On the way to my room, the lift and corridor are clean and odourless. What surprised me is the room! I stayed in room 810 and the room seems to be much better than I have expected. The bed is good, carpet is ok and the bathroom is clean and spacious! My skin is very sensitive to dust and dirty floor and I don’t have any allergy throughout my 1-night stay! I can have a good view of the city from my room and the surrounding is quiet. The bathroom has good natural lighting and it is equipped with hair dryer and basic shower amenities. Overall, I think the bathroom is better than some of the 4 star hotel I have been in Malaysia. The water pressure is good and hot water heater is working. In the room they also provide kettle, safe and mini bar. The only problem I get is the noise from the corridor - inconsiderate neighbour and the water drainage from the next door/ above floor. For my next visit, i certainly will come back to this hotel with my parent and recommend my friends to stay here. I have stayed at the Queen’s hotel before but with this pricing, I think it values for the money. Considering same price range between Geylang and here, certainly this location is way better!

Worth your money”
The hotel is clean and changes the towels everyday. It is located near MRT station malls and churches. Our experience is worth the money we have paid. Liz the receptionist was very accommodating.

This place is near to all market hawker center and bugis junction and mrt station we will be back again here soon with kids even the place is old but nothing to complain the water is strong you can walk around and accessible to all plus the church is just neighborhood. Safe place to stay cheers

The staff were very nice, approachable, and kind. The manager even allowed us to have an early check in, without additional payment. The facilities are nice, the room was very clean. The location was nice and accessible to transpo.

We really loved that the hotel is located midpoint of Chinatown and Little India, and just a few minutes walk to the nearest MRT station (Bras Basah), Church, 7eleven, and McDonald's. Despite being not as prestigious as that of a five-star hotel, our room is still homey with enough space for moving and putting our things, with lots of available storage.

Good choice for business travel + economic budget”
Being on business trips, my company will pay but I dont need to stay in too high-end ones as I will be out most of the time + focus on work too so dont have time to enjoy full facilities anw. Oxford got reasonable price and super good location. Surroundings are all good hotels too and it is good to MRT and Lazada building, alot of coffee, stores around. Super good deal as I think with this price can get only dorm but here I get a private king bedroom kinda spacious and have window and nice view. ESPECIALLY good for foreigners as they socket is suitable for oversea devices + electricity charging fast. Cons might be as the building is not new so the room is abit old interiors. Not super clean but clean.

The staff are kind especially Liz. They change the bathtowels everyday and refill complimentary coffee and toiletres. The location is great because it is near the Bras Basah MRT station and Bugis mall.

Gem of a hotel in the city central”
Booked this hotel for 11 nights stay for my parents... the experience overall was a positive one from day one. Check-in was no frills... their front office staff are polite and helpful in resolving minor issues. We applaud their kind service and help throughout. Charmingly located in an enclave of arts, schools, temples and historical buildings, the hotel is conveniently located many food places such as Albert Food Centre etc. Attractions are within walking distances as well. Overall, a pleasant hotel experience at good rates... Highly recommended.

Convenient and Helpful”
I came to Singapore on a whim with my 4 year old and the staff were very kind and let us check in early (this is not their norm). My 4 year old had a slight fever and was not feeling well so it was very good to be able to get him some respite. The hotel is very clean and conveniently located within walking distance to a lot of sights. Recommended.
