Large Room and comfortable stay.”
Big clean and spacious room for a couple. You could fit a family of 4. Room & Facilities (A/C, Elevator, Bathroom and Toilet) were outdated, could do some renovation and upgrade. Breakfast was good. Front Desk was friendly and very helpful. Hotel offers tuktuk service to nearby BTS station, the hotel is around 1-1.2 km away from near BTS. Internet was fast but kept disconnecting couple of times. Overall stay was good. Would recommend this place.
Renovated rooms (and others under renovation); Value even better than before”
The male receptionist was very kind and spent time with me to figure out the best room that fit my description. The female receptionist not so approachable. I was very happy with my two-day stay even though some renovation noise is to be heard every now and then. Good Wifi, good Cable channels and a fair buffet breakfast. This hotel probably offers the best value near Sukhumvit.
The effort is there in an old building that needs remodel.”
I arrived and was put in a large room with an aged bathroom where the sink and tub of porcelain were pealing badly. I called to complain and get a discount, instead they moved me to the top floor (11th) one of three floor they have remodeled. The room was a bit smaller but it was all redone and the bathroom with granite countertops. I was very pleased. It did lack a dresser or an drawers to place t-shirts, underwear and socks. My first room had plenty of drawers for cloths. It surprising that they go from many drawers to zero or one. They need to find that happy middle three to four dresser drawers even for the remodeled rooms. Front desk staff was very attentive for the most part and I asked for much help the first three days of my six day stay. The front desk staff never said no. They did say wait but never did they say no. Two areas they need to improve. I arrived in BKK without any of my Rx sunglasses. I went to the eye place and ordered a pair of glasses. I have them the card
Ok great plus ”
Luggage storage offered for free. They tried to make us take taxi with prepaid fare to the airport but we had been advised and it was 200 vs 500 they were wanting to charge us. That was the only major issue. Nice they have tuc tuc drop off for free but do get instrucions on how to return!
hotel quite old, good location, staffs are good”
got bathtub in the room, basic breakfast, noisy tap, germ in the bahtroom.
Hotel policies are not transparent ”
We have booked 4double rooms for 4 individual persons, but when we came up to the hotel with a girl, they asked us to pay extra 500 baht for the room, which was not mentioned in the hotel policy agreement, we asked the reason for the this and the lobby manager told us it was sudden policy adapted by the management ( Indian Management) and we are obliged to pay So we paid the amount reluctantly, Basically hotel policies cannot be changed overnight and had be communicated This is a typical Indian hotel So the one who wish to accommodate this hotel ( especially for Indians) please be vigilant, they charge you higher rates according to their wish Overall I would cast negative comments for this hotel Very very very bad and poor hotel policies😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
Good size rooms, good location, the staff were very friendly and helpful ”
The air con was very noisy, made it hard to sleep. The pool was nice but lots of mosquitos, which took a fancy to my legs. Breakfast was average but did the job. The best thing about this hotel is the staff, very helpful and very friendly.
We didn't have a good experience from this hotel at all. ”
Only good thing about this place is its location. It's only a few minutes from Asoke Bts station by motorbike. Apart from that everything else was the worst hotel we've ever stayed in Bangkok. It took us nearly an hour for us to check-in that night. The Receptionist didn't know how to look at a guest list from Agoda computerized system. We also have shown them the email booking that we received from Agoda. And instead of them contacting Agoda for their guests, they made us call Agoda ourselves, and Agoda had to call them before they let us check-in. We never had any problems booking with Agoda, except for this hotel. Our room smells like rats died in there for weeks, and we were informed that was the only last room in the hotel that was cleaned. There were 2 old towels from their previous guests hanging on the shower drape. There were moles all over one of the wall near our bed. There was no hair dyer, no tv, and not even a bottle of water. We don't recommend this hotel at all
This is an advertisement of run down place. From soiled toilet seats to 30 year old TV. The wash basins are so old that they have tried painting it or something, and they are peeling off now. Stay only if you dont have any other options.
It was the best stay in Thailand”
Among the best one I booked in Thailand trip(4 hotels). Need to provide more toiletries and coffee/tea etc. Else other things are just perfect and price is very affordable compare to expensive and dirty hotels in Bangkok. I will definitely come again if visit back to Bangkok.
Thank you for your feedback, We hope you will have great experience in your next visit.
The worst hotel in Sukhumvit ”
Don’t ever go there, the room is unclean, staff doesn’t seem to understand anything, not worth your money !!!
When arriving I was disappointed that the room was so old and worn down, and some of the features advertised on Agodo was not present, like no coffee, water boiler, and no sitting group. I asked the reception to change room and was shown a couple of options, but I decided to keep the room since it was very big and it had a new and big flat screen TV (the other options had an old style big bulky TV). Also, the staff in the reception provided a water boiler and told us that if we needed a place to sit when ordering food to the hotel we could use the hotel restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpfull, but the room is very old. There are some coloring in the ceiling in the bathroom (mold?) and it's almost impossible to get a decent temperature in the shower - either it's very hot or very cold. The location is far away from BTS (about 15 minute walk), but the neighbourhood around the hotel is very nice with 7-eleven, bakery, several coffee shops and restaurants.
Good find for budget travelers”
Like most Bangkok hotels of it's age it's a little bit dated but is a good value for the money and the staff are really kind and helpful. The rooms are large. The area is great as it's quiet and away from the madness on Nana but you can still get there easily if you want. Would stay again.
One of the best hotels in the budget in an awesome location ”
I've stayed at this hotel for 2 of my last 3 trips to Bangkok. I've experimented with hotels on Pattaya ... but if I'm travelling to Bangkok this is my only choice. Pros 1. The rooms were huge compared to other hotels in the segment 2.This hotel is very close to BTS ... just a 500 mt walk. 3.It has an attached restaurant as well as a hookah bar and Indian restaurant right next door 4.There is an ultra-posh mall right there, so many places to eat with different cuisines and an awesome massage parlor just a stone throws away. 4.The decor is rustic old school and it has a nice pool Cons 1.The decor is a little dated (that's the charm for me) though none of the rooms had any good views. 2.The AC was a bit odd to operate. 3.The joiner fee is ridiculous. My travel mate was charged 500B for each visitor while this was not informed upfront. Irrespective i still think it is ridiculous. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice cozy place to stay.
Basic but nice”
I had a nice 2 days at The Eurogrande, my room was old and worn but it was a nice, big space and everything worked; i was very comfortable. The were also extremely nice and helpful. The was nice and cool for the hot weather. Good value for for money. I will be back.
Great Centrally Located Hotel”
This was my second visit here. The rooms are big and well appointed. The furniture and bedding are great quality and I had a south facing balcony on which I sat in the sun for hours watching the street below.
Very Friendly Welcoming Staff, Homely”
Felt very safe and "in good hands". Found staff very friendly, helpful and attentive to my needs. Rooms are large, modern and comfortable: In room safe, A/C, Wifi worked just fine but TV reception was lacking. The small swimming was refreshing. Breakfast was "almost" buffet style and was satisfying. Great value for money for what I paid for sure.
Fantastic Hotel. ”
I booked two nights. Didn't want to leave so booked another 6. Room was large and pretty luxurious with a south facing balcony. All mod cons. Nicely furnished. Good TV. Swimming pool. The mini bar was reasonably priced. The room was cleaned every day even if I stayed in bed most of the afternoon then they would clean it when I went out. The area is great too. Loads of smart restaurants and leafy streets with little boutique shops and tea rooms. You can walk to Asok for the skytrain and underground in around 10 mins. For the money it was the best value room I've had in the city. I've been here 30 or 40 times too. I'll definately be back if the prices stay the same.
Great place ”
This place had motorbike taxis around the corner. The bedrooms were large for the price with big tv, asn and golf channel. The rooms have a window and a fire excape. They maids were good and cleaned the room everyday with new towels and soap.
Rooms are big but very old.
