Old hotel that desperately needs refurbishment”
This is a really old hotel that is now part of the OYO chain. The staff were lovely and keen to help, but there wasn't a lot they could do about windows that didn't close (letting mossies in) or badly leaking sinks and toilets. (We changed room so experienced both). The beds were comfortable and clean, and the hotel is close to restaurants and shops, but otherwise not much to recommend it.

The door can't be locked properly.. We told the the front desk.. But he did check and it really can't be locked so we didn't leave any valuable stuff inside..

I was shocked by the time arrived at the hotel. I thought its a brand new OYO hotel...but actually its an old Mandaryn hotel. Anyway, the staffs are very friendly and kind.

Not recommended”
Been staying for 3 nights. They housekeeping only changed the bed sheet, without sweeping the floor and left the toilet wet. The bed sheets have been reused for probably 300 times... I dare not use their towels at all, although I used in most of the budget inns I stayed. Smelly toilet, luckily I was staying along, thus can pass motion with door opened. In room lightning is kinda dim, 20 years old bed frame... they joined OYO and have the wall repainted only. WIfi signal keep disconnecting. Internet dropped frequently, despite wifi still connected. Although the rate was low, but that didn't mean low class facilities. Never come back.
