Wow wow wow... simply Amazing!! ”
Fantastic room on the edge of the water simply blown away!!!! Fabulous, helpful and engaging staff. Exquisite snorkelling at the resort Also provided free transfers from pier. Breakfast offerings could be better Observation: As the island is very hilly everywhere some areas are challenging in terms of gradients to climb or walk down, this location is physically demanding and not suited to everyone, you do need to be ‘fit and able’ to leave the resort and enjoy the restaurants of the nearby costal bay unless using taxi’s. Thank you for a wonderful stay.. we’ll be back 😁

Hidden pearl to reach along a beautiful palm tree covered hill with fuchsia flowers & pink sky”
I loved our stay at PD Beach Resort. Straight after booking we received a kind message when to pick us up. This felt very welcoming. Once at PD beach resort we stayed in the highest bungalow with sea view. It felt a bit like living in the jungle with the lovely beach with all the Thay fish you can imagine in front of us. Also we spotted a turtle at ‘our’ beach. And sometimes boats stopped a bit further for the beautiful coral. Very friendly family was running the resort. And I loved the daily breakfast with the endless view over the sea:-) at the end of our stay, the transfer was included again. Just perfect

Peaceful Place”
Been around the whole island with a scooter and I have to say that this is one of the best spot in there ( my point of view). If you love the quietness and the relax this is the right place for you. Very nice view. You've got the little beach basically on your own but enough as the main flow of people prefer to stay in the crowded touristic areas. This is a little paradise on my opinion. Simple breakfast and you can also rent a kayak by the staff or a scooter( 125 cc). Be aware that to get to the resort the road is very steep but anyway the whole island is like that. Would definitely come back.

Family managed, pleasant bungalow lifestyle & cuisine in a reasonably private location.”
Rewarding snorkelling, secluded beach, with a beachside sunset mini-bar in the adjacent resort available. Friendly family managed, with individual small traditional buildings, & great fresh asian cuisine which combined gives a good touch of grounding into the region's way of life. We would recommend long-tail transport(weather permitting) to & from the resort if possible,as the main access road to the region was under re-construction,thus requiring 4-wheel drive & a hefty bank account. Unfortunately, we also encounted a communication problem, given that the family's English was limited(speak with the grand-daughter if available), or try Ging(taxi-driver @ the local shop).

Stunning view, very nice staffs and food”
The view is wonderful, you can do snorkel in front of the room. There’re full of the coral and various fishes. The host and staffs are very helpful and friendly. Worth to stay.

Overall a decent place to stay for its value.”
Pros- peaceful, clean. Good location for sunrise and sunset. Cons- a bit difficult to get to.

Love the view and access to snorkeling sea.”
I would like to request the resort to stop providing swimming Fins to tourists as the water is very shallow, Fins will damage the corals. Please also provide liquid soap rather small soap as its difficult to use to shower.

Way too expensive for what it is”
I would give a good review to this place, would it be half of what they ask (in my case $60 a night!) . Too many things were wrong for that price: - VERY average accomodation (super basic bungalows, "private beach" is a vast exaggeration, no pool, super slow Internet, etc) - kind but untrained and unprofessional staff (exemple: I was supposed to be picked up at the pier, had to call, waited for 40mn, no apologies when someone eventually showed up - the same thing happened to other people while I was there) - food pricing ! Even their beer is more expensive (90 bahts) than the beer at the resort next door (80), which has a pool, trained staff 24/7 on location, etc ! In short: It's a nice, little family-run bungalows complex, that would be fine for $30 a night tops and cheap food, but that is ufortunately thinking they can milk the tourism cow by asking similar money to their much nicer neighboring resorts. Avoid unless they change their prices.

Bitter-sweet days”
Ok.. I will try to be as real as possible: We are a family with 3 adults and 3 small children, we traveled in Thailand for about a month and the second time now.. We have seen some apartments, hotels, bungalows, etc.. There were some good things: Free transfer from the pier (they were waiting for us), we were moved to a family apartment no question asked, since it was free and we booked standard rooms (which were big enough but higher on the hill). The beach is really nice, you can see a lot of fish snorkeling just by the beach, but it is quite small and "outside" people do come there to enjoy this little peace of heaven, as well as big groups of people who park the boat directly on the beach and go for food in resort restaurant. The family who runs this place is nice and fun. Unfortunatly there were also downsides which bothered us.. 1. They didn't change sheets, towels, add toilet paper or clean our apartments for 6 days! And we kindly asked them on the 4 day. 2. They wanted to charge us 2 extra breakfast for 2 and 5 YO kids, we somehow agreed to 1 extra breakfast/day. On the last day we got a bill for 210 baht/day for 1 breakfast! Ouch. Breakfast was very limited and once when we came 9.40 they warned us right away that we have to come latest 9 o clock to get breakfast (breakfast was timed between 8-10!) 3. Everything is outdated, falling apart, needs paintings, etc.. Pictures must be very old! 4. During our stay we had to move to a standard apartment where we had ants, a lot of spiders and it was not clean at all! 5. For this price (around 50 eur/apartment/day) it should be A LOT better and A LOT more proffesionally managed! 6. Yes, there is a construction site nearby, but it didn't bothered us as much as all other things did. In this case we believe that you can find better acommodation for this price, but if you get a really cheap deal it's just - ok. Be prepared to pay more than usual for everything you order there. If you walk around 30 minutes to the city y

View was the only good thing ”
I stayed in pd resort paying 2592 thai Bhat. It’s true that for 1300 you get far better hotels. This is one of the worst places I decided to stay for 2 days. No responsible person in the vicinity. One Burmese guy is your all help. He too can’t speak English. Nothing is complimentary inside the room. Complimentary breakfast is not served though I paid for it. I never in my 2 days saw any other guest in that hotel.Avoid this hotel. Thailand is very famous for good hospitality and you don’t get that here.

Wonderful staff, secluded location, excellent pancakes!”
The staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The bungalows are set in a quiet side of the island which is perfect if you want to get away from the generic tourist trail around Sairee Beach. Breakfast was included in the room rate and the banana pancakes were delicious and filled us up until supper. They serve a variety of Thai dishes for lunch and supper - all between 150-200 baht, a little more expensive than elsewhere but super convenient and tasty! The views over June Juea Bay and the ocean are worth every penny. You're also able to use the pool at the Pinnacle Resort, almost for free they just ask for you to buy a drink which is reasonable.

Amazing”
Couldn't ask for more - this is a slice of heaven. The beach view bungalow is like something off a film set with a castaway type beach. Palm trees , blue sea, sun and snorkeling. Paradise. The staff are hospitable and friendly and helped me with my baggage. Due to its remote location,It is the perfect honeymoon destination. I thoroughly recommend P.D Beach resort - you will feel like you have won the lottery if you come here.

Idyllic place with great sea view ”
If you're looking for a really quiet, idyllic place in the nature, this resort is perfect for you. I would recommend it for couples who want to enjoy their privacy and are not planning much stuff in the main places like Sairee beach. We were two friends and unfortunately it was too quiet for us and too far away from where the people and the Koh tao life are. But we loved the view from our bungalow to the sea, we loved the little Lagune beach with many colorful fishes in it and we loved the very friendly staff and their delicious food! They give you a nice choice of breakfast for free and you can also have dinner there with delicious Thai food. Only problem could be that they don't understand much English, so it's very difficult to organize some Stuff with their help. Atm and Shops are about a 30 min walk (very exhausting because of many hills and pitches). And going there by bike could be very hard, we didn't try it because of the bad roads there, seems to be dangerous.

Perfect Getaway”
It was a the nicest surprise in Kho Tao. My dad and I would have loved to stay longer but the bungalows were fully booked. Book in advance and longer than you think you are staying, because you will....Clean, friendly, fresh and perfectly suited and exactly what we went to Koh Tao for. Try their private 4hr island 4wdrive tour. The best way to see all island beaches. These resorts are becoming a rarity. Enjoy while they still exist.

Quiet Bungalow, Private Beach”
We loved staying here at the P.D. Resort! The snorkeling right off the private beach is great (although the sea was a bit rough in July). You can walk for about 15 minutes, over a ridge and through another resort, to get to restaurants and shops. It's far enough away from the dive shops and bars so it's quiet and peaceful. The staff was very kind and helpful! We hope to come back again!

Perfect place on the private beach”
This place is out of Koh Tao tourist buzz, but if you drive motorbike it is easy to reach all tourist locations. On the other hand you get sea view bungalow and cozy ptivate beach with the beautifull sunsets in small beachbar :) also owners pick up us and drop us from and to pier on arrival and departure. We like it. Thanks
