Romantic and beautiful”
The Erawan is a little bit of luxury on the beautiful island of Phi Phi. It is far away from the town, perefct for couples looking to chill. The hotel runs a shuttle boat to the action that is reasonably priced - just make sure you get off or you'll end up in Phuket. I was here with my wife celebrating her thirtieth - I let the hotel team know and made a few requests - they laid on an amazing romantic surprise with rose petals in the room, flowers - my missus was blown away. The faciliites are brilliant. The location is incredible as it is near the gypsy village which has a couple or restaurants. The hotel has two restaurants and bar with a daily happy hour - everything we ate and drank was amazing. The staff were so lovely too - it was a wonderful few days.

Phi Phi Island at its Best”
The location of this hotel is so perfect if you want a peaceful romantic holiday. You can swim and snorkel in the crystal blue ocean. The food and drinks were fantastic. The room was lovely. There is an extra pool that not many guests know of, on the other side of the island, up the hill which overlooks the pier that is still under construction. We've stayed here twice, once on honeymoon in 2016 and now again with family, we will definitely visit again. It really feels like an island paradise and if you really want to you can take a Longtail boat to the busy, party main town for the day, snorkeling along the way. Loved it!

Great value if you are looking to avoid the noise and excitement of Tonsai, the main pier in Phi Phi”
We booked for ten nights starting in late January. Assuming that you are travelling from Phuket, you need to take a ferry to Laemtong Pier, where you are met by people from the hotel. The hotel is barely 2 minutes walk to the East side of the extreme North peninsula of Phi Phi. The beach by the hotel is beautifully clean and shared with the Natural and Holiday Inn resorts. There are a couple of dive businesses, and I found the one adjoining the Erawan run by two French guys Tibo and Damien, and a Swiss lady Tamura, to be extremely good. Breakfast consists of a wide-ranging buffet including a place where you can have eggs prepared to your preference - the only disappointment were the diluted, overly sweet fruit juices and the “stewed” coffee. There are a couple of restaurants within the Erawan complex where you can get great Thai food, as well a wide range of Western fare (which I didn’t actually try although it looked fine). The staff are universally polite and attentive. Recommended

not quite perfect, but not far from it”
most impressed by the friendliness of all staff, from the management team through the groundskeepers, all smiling with a friendly hello when you saw them. Food was great, although 110 baht for a small bottle of beer is overdoing the 'fancy resort' pricing just a bit. Beach was nice, but be warned if you go in the 'high season' the wind is from the east, and strong, and there are largish waves almost all the time, so snorkeling during this time of year is probably not happening. Also one complaint about the otherwise beautiful rooms - the lighting is somewhat poor for reading, and nothing over the desk where one might want to work - could hardly see the letters on the keys of my computer. But the shower was very excellent, hot water with good pressure - an important 'creature comfort' for me!

My girlfriend and I stayed at PP Erawan Resort for 3 days after arriving from Ao Nang. We enjoyed our stay overall. Location is perfect. Right on the beach with a fantastic view. Staff are helpful and kind at all times. Our Superior Bungalow was clean and well supplied and designed. Our only issues were that getting there is a nightmare and the prices in the bars and restaurants are silly expensive. To get there from Ao Nang we took a van taxi for an hour, a ferry to Phi Phi for 2 hours and then another ferry to their location for another hour before unloading the boat and walking to the property. Lots of confusion and waiting around in between and it cost us around 600 baht per person. I would suggest that the property invest in their own boat, at least from Phi Phi pier if not Krabi and Phuket as well and just charge the guests for it. I would have paid extra to save time and confusion. Secondly the prices in the bar and restaurants are silly and their portions and drinks are small.

Amazing location away from the bustle of the centre of Phi Phi... room was great although the beds are incredibly hard and spoilt a good night’s sleep. Staff were great, massage was wonderful... Our second visit and probably not our last (if they ever sort the beds out!)

This resort is located in Laemtong Bay, which is on the other end of Koh Phi Phi. You will have to longtail it to Tonsai Pier if you want to be in the middle of things. Be warned that because only 4 resorts and “Sea Gypsy Village” are located in this part of the island, prices at bars, restaurants, and the resorts themselves are inflated. Expect to pay almost double what you’d pay near Ton Sai for anything. While I enjoyed the serenity of this area, I would next time save money, stay near Ton Sai, and enjoy Long Beach if I want to lay out next to a beautiful and quiet beach, which is why I chose this area initially.

Great value for the money ”
This is my second time to this part of the island and the beach is wonderful. Not busy which is perfect for us. I have stayed at the Zealora which is next door and is a five star. But , you are paying 5 stars. The Erawan is 4 star with great rates . If on a budget Erawan is a lovely place to stay. A little a secret is to stay on the upper guest houses because we discovered that there is a wonder private pool over looking the ocean. My GF and I had a private pool to ourselves for three days. Also, at 4 - 6 there is happy hour bar that opens . We watched two amazing sunsets !! So, my recommendation is for the money Ewaran is great . But if you want a 5 star hotel the. zealora is a once in a life time stay!!

Nice hotel a longtail ride from all the action”
This is a nice hotel, but be aware that you cannot get to the main areas of Phi Phi without taking a longtail which we didn't realize and was a costly mistake. There are not many places to eat nearby. The rooms were nicely appointed but very poorly lit. We paid extra to stay in a villa but the lower tier rooms looked very nice and avoided the hike up the steep hill. The staff was very nice and breakfast was good. If you're looking for somewhere secluded this may be for you. If you are coming on the ferry make sure you walk off and straight to the other side of the island (like 5 mins) which is much closer to the hotel and less expensive.
