Great location yet affordable accommodation”
This trip marked my fifth time to be in Camiguin. As always, I've always booked with Pabua's Cottages or its sister company, Paguia's Cottages since their services are more than worth the price you pay. Staff will make you feel like you never left home.

Great Location and Value for money”
We had a great stay at Pabua's although we only slept there because we were out the whole day touring Camiguin. We arrived there at 10am and the previous guest had just checked out so the owner requested us to be back after an hour in order for them to clean the room. they allowed us to leave our bags in their house while we looked for a place to eat breakfast. Pabua's has a very good location,too. It's only walking distance to the jump-off going to White Island. Some of the nearby tourist spots are: Ardent Spring Resort Walkway to the Old Volcano Sunken Cemetery Bura Soda Water Pool Resort Tongatoc Cove There are also several restaurants along the highway which is walking distance also. Luna Restaurant which serves the best pizza in Camiguin is just a few blocks away.

The best place to stay”
We were amazed that the room is spacious, clean, good air condition, very comfortable and soft bed for a very cheap price. The owner are very welcoming and helpful. They even let us check in earlier without additional charge and made us delicious breakfast upon arrival. Imagine we arrived there 7 am. They let us stay in their sala for the meanwhile while waiting for the room to be ready. They have good staff and people who will arrange everything you need for your whole stay. You can call them anytime. The best thing about their staff is they are honest. Like when we went in ardent hotspring, my boyfriend gave 400 pesos to the driver for staying and waiting for us while we were swimming, he returned the 200 pesos because the 400 pesos is just too much as what he said. I mean, we never encountered such type of person who will return the excess amount specially in tourist area. I am so glad that I booked this place and have cancelled the earlier hotel we booked which is 5 times more expensive than this. The place is very near to the White Island. We saved a lot. This is the best place to stay in Camiguin without spending too much money. More power to the staff and the owner. This is very much recommended :)

Nice stay”
Pabua's Cottage is in great location. This is near white island so you just have to take a few steps and you are at the boat registration. There are also little stores offering meals. Very simple room but clean and decent. Staffs are very friendly

Camiguin 2013 Vacation”
Our stay at Pabua's cottage was very pleasant. the staff were friendly and accommodating; they arranged for our transport in going around the must see places in Camiguin. When we checked in we have to request for towels and clothes hangers because our room was not provided with these. The staff were quick to address this need. It would be great to have clothes closet in the cottage that we occupied.

Basic but good”
These cottages are great if you're on a budget, although basic they were clean and all our needs were catered for very well, the staff were super friendly and very attentive. It is super close to the white island, which has a beautiful white sandy beach with amazing views and only a five minute boat ride, the whole trip was amazing and would recommend coming to Camiguin and staying at this lovely clean and friendly cottages

Pleasant stay”
We were pleased with the Pabua staff and the cottages because it is clean, comfortable and accessible. They have their own multi cab and pump boat to tour you around the island. I highly recommend Pabua's cottages.

The hostel took care of our tour of the island and they gave us a great price. There was a little bit of trouble communicating with the guide they sent us (perhaps a language barrier) but overall it was a hassle-free stay.

Beautiful Mistake”
We reserved for a double room. But when we get there, we were surprised that the room they have reserved for us is a family room with 3 queen(?) sized bed. Lucky for us. the owner was very friendly and accomodating. She answers to all our requests. Filipino Hospitality.

Noisy neighbors singing karaoke, no emergency light, cold shower and they dont provide towels or soap..very basic accommodation. Unsafe.. a men sleep outside of our cottage..

No housekeeping,poor aircon,no generator,bad drains,broken toilet seat and poor sink water pressure,”
Accessible to White Island but too much wind and rain so unable to go unfortunately,they have a kitchen furnished to cook with located in the back, and was able to rent a motorcycle from the owner for 300 pesos for 24 hours...poor sink water pressure, poor aircon with extremely dirty air filter I had to clean myself, small tv and too many brownouts with no generator for hours sometimes, no housekeeping for 3 days, but was very cheap on price but wanted to ask for different room or a free night of stay because it was a terrible room so we spent most of our time away touring the island on motorcycle rented but very rainy and windy half of the time and unable to go to White Island because of the poor weather and the high tide..maybe next time because we loved the island and cooking in the kitchen only..We will stay at different location maybe like Mountain View Cottages next time close to White Island Pier?

adequate but very basic”
The location is good, and the price is good, but the rooms are disappointing. There is working air conditioning, but not hot shower. Also, we had some trouble with water pressure for showers. The rooms are small and worn. They do provide towels (contrary to a previous reviewer's comment) and the staff are accommodating, but the did not seem to understand my request.

Basic amenities, weak aircon”
We booked the family room for 7. The supposed queen size beds were small. I don't think 2 people could sleep there comfortably. A max. of only 5 people can sleep in the room ( if you put the beds together). The aircon was very weak so we asked for an electric fan. The one they gave us was extremely dirty and noisy. The toilet is very basic. The mirror was dirty. The toilet's flush was not working. There is a shower but no hot water. They have a TV in the room and a small table but no chairs. There is no restaurant in the lodging place. The room has WIFI but it's not very fast. We asked for hot drinking water and they gave it to us. The staff are nice and accommodating. It is walking distance from the jump off point to White Island. It is also near Paras Beach Resort which has a restaurant that serves delicious food.
