I already wrote a review about this hotel!”
Awful service with breached security! I book 2 nights separately due to my doctor’s appointment and I really regret I chose this hotel. I hope other reviewers are not bias. I don’t understand how come they are “agoda preferred” when they can even bother greeting their customers as simply as hi, hello, good afternoon or whatsoever. As I have mentioned to my other review they badly need customer service skills training. They should learn the basic like not judging people or stereotyping. I am really disgusted with my experience. A staff knocking on my door and brought a male foreigner who was looking for his female companion. It doesn’t mean I am a filipina and I am alone I could be the foreigner’s prospect. I should have reported you guys immediately but I don’t want to waste my time given that it was my 1st night and I have a lot of valuables with me plus I was so tired from travelling for 7 hrs by bus. By the way photos are too good to be true compared to what you’d see. LOL

“BIG RAT IN THE LOBBY AND VERY INSULTING AND DANGEROUS EXPERIENCE””
I saw a really big rat twice in 2 days past 8pm. The security is absolutely worst I’ve ever seen. A terrible place for single female travellers. Around 5pm somebody knocked on the door and when I opened it the male staff said “Hi ate, naay nangita sa iya kuyog na babae” (Hi big sister, Somebody is looking for his female companion) and then he looked at the male foreigner that he brought with him. This male did not know the name or the room number of his female companion yet he was brought directly to my door. It never occur to them to call first! I was so insulted in a way that because I am Filipina and I’m alone I could be probably the foreigner’s companion and I was in their mind likely to be his “companion”. If this isn’t a negative stereotype I don’t what is. The hot shower didn’t work and linens were so old faded and coarse that my sister suggested that they should have use bleach and softener. She even use one of the towels as a rag because it looked so deteriorated. The staff is inhospitable. They should undergo customer service training with basic things like eye contact, thank you and you’re welcome phraseology. The food was ok but the rice is absolutely terrible it’s too mushy like they are feeding infants or very elderly people. The kitchen staff was fine but she has to undergo social skills training. She asked me where my “friend” is. And I said she was my sister and she immediately asked if she was my younger sister and if she worked in Cebu. Firstly this is too nosy and considering that my sister is 12 years older than me it was an extremely odd and unflattering. For those foreigners what this means is she must be younger because she has fairer skin than I have!!! The security alone is enough to deter anyone from staying at this place. Imagine a total stranger walking off the streets then facilitated by a hotel clerk, straight to your door because you’re single and would likely be a subject of interest. I figured such gross breached o

Location is perfect! You can even walk to Casa Verde and not break a sweat. It is also near the bus terminals so if you're planning to go island hopping and you need to stay in the city for a short period of time, I suggest you book this place. The place looks old but it is very affordable so I think that's just okay.

My duration of stay at the pacific pensionne was extravagant because it is only within the city and can access to many different places around cebu. During my stay, I really enjoyed utilizing all the facilities provided by the hotel and especially the way they serve their food was also astonishing. I am looking forward to book here again whenever I will be coming to cebu again in the future.

It's a satisfying stay. But what we really appreciate the most (me&mom) is the location, because 7 eleven is so near! And jeep access is excellent, you can definitely save. Further, the place is clean, and staffs are pleasant. Over all, it's worth the money!

      The City DUMP!!!”
I wouldn't recommend this place to a homeless person. The streets is probably cleaner than this dump. The room was filthy, the shower was moldy, the receptionist was rude, the breakfast was HORRIBLE!!! There was absolutely nothing I liked about this place..... oh I take that back... the air conditioning, although nasty and dirty, it kept the room cold. Really cold. The best part about this place was seeing it in the rear view mirror as the taxi quickly pulled away!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! I have photo's if anyone needs to see them!!! just HORRIBLE!!

Well located pension with Filipino breakfast”
It's down a small road off Osmeña boulevard, marked in the correct Google maps location. There is a 7/11 very near and mango square is 10 mins walk. It's a simple place mainly for Filipinos, it seems busier during the week. Rooms are simple too, beds OK, everything worked including WiFi that had a strange system. You have a peaceful sleep. Breakfast is between 6 and 10am, you can choose a small range of Filipino sausage and corned beef options. Price and location are the main motivations for staying here. It's ok

As for their other rooms for 2 pax it's fine though another issue happened again I requested for a massage since they do have post from their room about the rate w/c is 500/1hr & 30mins. when the therapist arrived she informed that the rate is not updated it should only be 500 per hour did not argue anymore. Hopefully the property will improve on this.

I booked the room that indicates 3 beds & was charged by agoda by 1 extra bed since 4 pax will be staying but when we get there we were given a room with only 2 beds informing us that they don't have rooms with 3 beds & it won't be possible to add extra beds since the room is too small. I hope agoda team will look into this. As for their breakfast it's limited. We also arranged to book a city tour packaged from the property the agreed amount was not followed & we were ask to increase the rate during the tour.

I liked it was close to the main street and well lighted going back to the hotel so you can come home anytime of the night without fear of getting roughed up. I liked the comfortable room and clean.
Very nice and enjoyable because we were able to go out at night and come home late due to the safety of the area. I just wished the streets were paved and cleaned. When I walked I have to be looking down so I don't trip or turn an ankle. Otherwise, everything was good!

      Give this place a pass....”
Ten years ago, when I was coming to Cebu City on a very frequent basis, this hotel was my "go to" hotel. Now it's the "stay as far away as possible" hotel. My wife and I were in Cebu for a couple of days to see suppliers for her business and just relax. We live on Negros and get to Cebu every couple of months for combined business and pleasure trips. I had been raving to her about this hotel, telling her how nice it was, in a good location, at the end of a quiet street, etc. - but we could never get a reservation. We arrived in early evening (the ferry was delayed) and checked in. The staff was, overall, very sullen and desultory, as if they could hardly be bothered to have us sign in. Once we got to the room, one that I had never stayed in before (this hotel has, or had, unique decor in each room) I was appalled at the dirt and filth. The bathroom was grimy and gross, there was but a single sheet on the way too small "matrimonial" bed and when my wife touched the pillow cas
