Gently hugging the waters of Tumon Bay, the seaside resort is just a short walk from Tumon’s countless shopping and dining experiences, and only a ten minute drive from both the Guam International Airport and our island’s capital, the beautiful village of Hågatña. Take in the ocean’s vastness from every room, and depending on which side of the hotel you’re staying in, the rooms offer an astonishing view of the sun either rising or setting over the tranquil waters of the Pacific. Surround yourself in a tropical ambiance with stunning sunset views and the cool ocean breeze while enjoying a relaxing day on the beach or by the pool. Sip on a refreshing cocktail at our poolside bar after exploring Guam’s waters with the snorkeling gear, kayaks, or stand-up paddle boards the are available free of charge at the Marine Center.
Embark on an adventure of flavor, as you taste different parts of the world each day at the Pacific Star Cafe. With its daily breakfast and lunch buffet, the Cafe offers a diverse collection of local and international dishes. The Manhattan Steakhouse provides an exceptional fine dining experience. The arsenal of “Prime” Certified Angus Beef® Steaks, mouthwatering entrees, and scrumptious desserts combined with the refined, yet rustic ambiance of the Manhattan Steakhouse is sure to make your meal a memorable one.
Indulge your senses at the Chandan Spa. The decor, atmosphere, and diverse menu of carefully crafted treatments are inspired from different regions of Southeast Asia. The word “Chandan” derives from the ancient Sanskrit name for Sandalwood. Sandalwood, just like the Spa, is known for its medicinal, spiritual, and calming effects on the mind and body. The Promesa Chapel is located on the beach side of the hotel. Situated with a symbolic view of the endless horizon and composed of a 360-degree glass enclosure, the chapel’s view is an ever changing painting of white and blue. The fitness center includes a weight and cardio room accessible to guests 24 hours a day. Whatever your purpose of visit, Pacific Star Resort & Spa is an excellent choice for your stay in Guam.

Great hotel and I loved it.”
I missed my opportunity to stay 5 days in Marriot Resort & Spa. Now I know why we have pay executive to get the best offer from the hotel. I would like to stay with Marriot when I go back to Guam next year for our annual meeting. I hope by then I will get a discount for the travel. I also enjoyed their beach bar, the local draft beer is so refreshing. I took alot of photos from my room, it's so beautiful, my really like it. Thank you.
I loved my stay at the Pacific Star Resort and Spa. It had everything we NEEDED, a friendly staff that was very helpful, laundromat, fitness center, etc. It was pretty clean and in a convenient location. My only complaint was that there was no coffee bar. There was just black coffee and an espresso machine. I was really hoping for a flavored latte before going out in the mornings. We were there during a typhoon and the hotel did a great job of making sure everyone stayed safe and indoors.
Very accommodating ”
We end up checking into Pacific Star after checking in/out of Verona in two hours. Avoid the hassle and go straight to Pacific Star. They listened and they gave us a nice room. They followed up with a call to make sure we were comfortable. My wife and I had a very good relaxing time.
Hafa Adai David, Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us a feedback. We are very happy to hear that you and your wife had a good relaxing time. We will share your review with our team to encourage them to continue to provide good service to all of our guests. Thank you once again and we hope that we could welcome you to our hotel in the near future. Best Regards, Jessica Chan Sales Manager
Wonderful One Night Stay”
I was traveling on business to Guam and stayed overnight, though I found myself not wanting to check out the next day. My room had great access to the hotel's WiFi and the best view that I've ever had. The staff were courteous and polite. The hotel restaurant was a bit pricey at for only myself. To be fair though, it was a gourmet meal of the highest caliber and I did have some fine Italian one with dinner. The only thing I would really complain about was the laundry. I arrived too late to have my clothing laundered and the self-serve laundry only sported threw washers and three drivers. That two was expensive at $4.00 a load plus extra for detergent.
Center of Tumon Beach”
Quiet and cozy hotel. All staff were very nice. Rooms are big enough, and the view from the room is fantastic. I liked the body cleanser stuff which are the famous spa brand(Thann - Thai spa brand) products. There were many US soldiers in the hotel, I guess they were taking holiday too. The beach was beautiful. Of course, more expensive hotels like Fiesta and Hyatt have better and wider beach, but I loved the beach here. You can enjoy kayaking and snorkelling anytime, and you can see so many fish everywhere. Just one thing to remember. There're not many choices of food around here. Personally, I recommend Jamaican restaurant just across the street. :)
Relaxing beach holiday ”
We had a good time at the hotel, there's a lot to do and the pool was not very crowded. They also have a nice gym and its quite convenient to get to central tumon bay area. if you venture out of the hotel, there's several good restaurants within walking distance.
Good value for money ”
Hôtels in Guam are either low quality motel type establishments with little ameniites or high quality big name expensive places. There are few hotels which offer good value for money but this is one such. The hotel is old and not highly luxurious, but the rooms are large and everything woks well. For abour USD 100 per day, I have never found better value for money in Guam. The breakfast is copious with a very wide choice of food and drinks for about USD 20.
Hafa Adai! Thank you very much for staying at our hotel and for taking the time to leave us a review. We are happy to hear that you had enjoyed your stay with us overall. We will continue to strive for improvement on both our products and services. We look forward to welcoming you to our hotel once again!
Great location...rooms dated but comfortable”
This was my 3rd trip to Guam...great vacation spot! The Marriott was a good value and in a central location. While the room was a little dated, the beds were comfortable and it was very clean. I would definitely stay here again.
Below the regular Marriott standards ”
As lack of maintenance seems to be a prevalent problems among most hotels in Guam, Marriott Guam is no exception and definitely can use an upgrade for its hardware facilities. A major disappointment goes into the fact that the hotel provides no beach chairs or any kind of services/facilities (not even when one wants to borrow a lifesaver!) on the beach area right nearby; food is also mediocre for what it's worth. The only thumbs up goes to its friendly staff and reasonably decent pool area, where plenty of beach chairs and garden landscape make it still a calm, relaxing space to chill. All in all, Guam Marriott does not seem to live up to the standard Marriott reputation, so with the same price, one would probably want to explore other options just footsteps away or go for one level up with a slightly higher price.
A satisfactory 3 night stay for the family!”
It's right on Pale San Vitores Road which is Guam's main strip where there are a lot of restaurants and other hotels. It's very near attractions like Underwater World and Guam Zoo. It's also close to shopping places like DFS Galleria, Kmart, and JP Superstore. It's a 10-minute drive to the airport. Minor problems we encountered include delayed check-in for the second room and a room safe which wasn't working. Staff are generally helpful and friendly. Rooms are kind of old but clean and decent. We got the Deluxe Ocean View Room that's supposedly for 2 people but we had 2 kids below 12 with us and it was okay.
Reasonable but could be better!”
As maintenance seems to be a prevalent problem in many hotels in Guam, Guam Marriott certainly is no exception and in general falls short of the regular standards of the Marriott brand for its facilities. The lack of something as simple as beach chairs on its most proximate beach is a huge disappointment, and food is mediocre and unsurprising. Having said that, service and staff assistance is great, and the pool side offers a quiet, peaceful place to relax and chill. Given the price and location though, a little bit of exploration into neighboring hotels is highly recommended.
great swimming pool but mediocre in other aspects”
i chose the marriott because it's a well-known brand, as i hadn't been to guam before and had no other guidelines and everything was last-minute. the location was alright as it was near k mart (walking distance) but it was far from the center of the action on tumon beach. i loved the beach by the hotel and the swimming pools, especially the children's pool which our toddler loved. but the problem was the room. the carpeted floor felt damp throughout our stay from the very beginning and the bathroom floor was always damp, making it very slippery. we had to wear shoes/slippers in the bathroom so that we wouldn't slip. the view was fantastic. i probably wouldn't stay at the guam marriott due to the price/value factor.
Excellent Hotel Location But Rundown”
The hotel is located in the heart of Guam with convenient access to the ocean connected to the property as well as many prominent tourist attractions. Good news is the hot water is now working. Bad news is that the hotel in its current state feels more like a 2 star than 4 star resort. When the good news is that hot water is working, it kinda says it all. The staff is wonderful, but it’s hard to make up a hotel which needs a complete makeover or be downgraded to a lower rating. Really too much to list, but the Rooms are falling apart, pool is falling apart, jacuzzi is broken, gym is nasty. Really the location, staff and ocean onsite is the only thing that saves this resort. They have no activities either. It’s just a quiet, rundown, boring resort. What makes it worse, is the hotel next door is extremely lively and you can see all the fun and activities from your room’s balcony. There is a ton of potential for this hotel, but it needs a lot of investment into improving the quality.

Good but cheap hotel”
hotel is clean but quite old and has not been recently renovated. very comfortable place to have after a tiring day of sightseeing and shopping. location is good and near the shopping areas of guam. and very cheap compared to neighboring hotels. provides free internet service if your are a marriott rewards member. staff are friendly and will try their best to help you. we were able to get an early check-in at 6am. will certainly stay in the same hotel on our next visit
Remember you get what you pay for”
Room service was good, but Maid service needed a lot of help. They had one basic pool to swim in, the kiddie pool was a disaster would never put my kids in it. The restaurants on site was too expensive for the food they served, better place outside the hotel to eat. The customer service the staff gave was 5 star it made our stay comfortable. It was an OK hotel for the money, the bathroom sink burped up constantly, the tub slow drained and the carpet left black grudge on your feet when you'd walk on it. The AC worked half the time to meet the temperature you needed with the constant heat outside.. just remember you get what you paid for, net time were staying the the hotel next door, the Pacific Island Resort, cost more but has everything you need for a grand vacation.....
Hafa Adai! Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us a feedback. We sincerely apologize for not meeting your expectation, and that our kiddie pool is currently out of order. Your feedback would be addressed to our Management Team and we will work on method of improvement for both our products and services. We thank you once again for your comments.
Nice, comfortable and clean full/service hotel”
Great stay, no problems. Polite staff. Very clean and comfortable rooms. A little pricy but okay value. We only used the room, the pool and the beach. But the hotel had other amenities. The beach was small but had very good snorkeling. We loved feeding bread to the fish. Some beach equipment(e.g., fins, snorkels, masks, vests, etc...) and the beach/pool staff were awesome! We didn't like the late check-ins(3pm) especially since flights arrived/departed early in the morning, but that's Guam. We also didn't like having to pay for wifi in the room. That's ridiculous!
beautiful and clean hotel”
it was great experience to stay in the marriott resort, guam. it is not really well-known hotel in guam. however, it's really clean and calm. nice to stay with family, esp. with kids
Clean, basic, hotel in a beautiful location”
The Marriott was clean and comfortable, but nothing particularly special. It was close to the beach, but not particularly close to the shopping and restaurants in the main strip in Guam. The staff was very helpful and nice, but check in took a surprisingly long time.
It's a Marriott”
I loved it!!! Yahoo! Will keep on coming back to Guam! I consider it my second home. :)
not as expected...ordinary hotel...”
marriott hotel in guam was just an ordinary hotel...nothing spectular about their rooms considering their price... the front desk staff on duty when we checked in was not as friendly tho... we arrived 4am , was told check in time was 3pm... we just waited at the lobby since there was nowhere to go except for a small kmart nearby... had breakfast 6am at the hotel resto, inquired at the front desk again if it's possible to check in earlier...was told our room is already available but still needs cleaning but should be ready by 10am... when i returned 10am to inquire if room was ready, was told by another staff that our room was still occupied and that the 1st staff made a mistake in telling us it would be ready by 10am!!! we had to come back 3pm for check in!!! is this the kind of service from a 5 star hotel?? and it's marriott!!! we expected better service from them... their concierge staff was nicer tho... they helped us by teaching us where to go and how to get there... service at the executive lounge was also great and we appreciated the free wifi there...
