Motel was in good quiet and good location and very clean plus well priced and the management were very helpful and approachable we would not hesitate to stay there again

Bring your own toiletries, they don’t even supply shampoo or body wash. Terrible parking for reversing and getting or off the car park. The advertising photos look nothing like the room, (Room is much smaller). Small shower cubicle and cheap shower curtain that clings to you while showing. Enamel and tiles broken throughout bathroom. On a plus side: Bed was comfy enough and walking distance to cafes.

Great little motel ”

Nice, quiet, clean. Everything working. Early in and out so didn’t see any staff nor need to. They were quick when I had email enquiries beforehand and all was good. Thank you for an easy and enjoyable couple of nights. Could have stayed a week.

Great Place to Take a Breather”

Enroute Newcastle to Melbourne we welcomed the half-way rest. Easy to locate. Hot shower. Comfortable bed. Quiet, yet on key road. Had a delay on the road, and reception had closed. But staff had graciously contacted us to tell us how to access the room on arrival. Motel is no frills, so don't expect the Ritz. But value for money, great service and courteous and friendly staff means ithat we can confidently recommend Abel Tasman Motel to travellers looking for a good stopover.

Sea side stay”

Stayed one night and found the room well appointed with small lounge, table and chairs and personal court yard available. There are take away food outlets within walking distance and small shopping precinct. Park across the road has great enclosed playground for children and toilet block nearby. We had a restful night sleep after long walk. I recommend you stay here.

Average ”

'family suite with water views' was disappointing for the price. Clean enough, nice view and good location but didnt stack up against the quality of other family suite rooms and amenities at other 3.5 star motels nearby. Note the falling over chair on the left balcony pictured on the property photo. yep its still there, still doesn't sit upright. 3 stars. but not 3.5.

Generally very clean unit though the shower curtain and tiles needs a good clean. Convenient location if you have own transport. Nice stroll along the beach opposite the motel.

We arrived earlier than our expected time, which would have been after reception closed, so the young lady was in the process of writing us a note explaining room number etc. Instead she gave us a complete rundown on the Motel and suggested eating establishments. We elected the Thai restruant and were very happy with the meal. The Motel is situated opposite parkland that leads onto the beach. Quiet and comfortable (as comfortable as Motel beds get) on check out the young lady was again helpful in directing my wife's attention to the Sunday Market across the road... Thoroughly enjoyed our saty and would recommend to anyone.
