new esplanade
only the location
was okay location wise but overall the hotel is very average . The hotel bed was the worst ive ever slept on. I think it must have donated by the good samaritans. Other than a good location i would not reccommend staying there desperately in need of some money spent on it. Spend another 30$ a night and stay somewhere else.

The old New Wsplanade
Leaving; closeness to covention centre; closeness to CBD
Pleasant, hard to drive into or out due to building works. Ideal for business due to location but not if you have your own vehicle.

Rooms need some TLC
Location is good.
Not for the business traveller. No place to use your laptop, the mini ironing board was only 50cm long and difficult to use! Rooms are run down and need a renovation.

Very old hotel
the duty manager was quite helpful
We were greeted by a grumpy duty manager who was not helpful at all during our stay. Luckily, the duty manager in the morning, helped us with our questions. The room was so old, nothing like the pictures. They even forgot to clean our room on the first day. Was very disappointed.

Perth Stay
Generous room size
The room allocated to my stay was quite generous. However, the hotl itself is quite old and dated. The showers are not business standard, and the second room needs a TV in it. The hotel was well located in terms of my client. However, not so good for tourists as it's well away from most of the retail shops. Maybe once the construction is over in front of the hotel. It will be more attractive for tourists and business people.

Average stay
Good location for people travelling for business and need to stay withing the cbd area. Good view if not for the major construction right infront of the hotel. Rooms were pretty clean.
Staff wasnt the most helpful or friendly. Please note there is no free parking or wifi at the hotel, they should state it clearly. Parking is extremely expensive in the city. 48aud a day. Everything is chargable at an exorbitant price. As you have paid for the hotel, theres no way you can cancel or change your mind as they will only let you know of all these charges when you check in. Hotel is really old and if your drive, you have to walk across the rubbish dump to get into hotel. Felt out of touch with technology when i was there due to no free wifi even at the lobby. Location is good if you are there for work, but if you are there for a holiday, the place is like a dead town in the evening and its difficult to find food. Small eatery at the lobby of hotel, but doesnt look impressive. Only hotel i stay in perth for 7 days that does not have free breakfast. Area under major construction, the supposedly good view hotel has is blocked.
