Nice Motel in Waihi”
I have a last min booking at Waihi Motel and managed to get a room. Unfortunately my flight will only arrived Auckland late at night. Managed to email hotel in advance and arrangement was made for me to check-in at about 2.00am in the morning. Motel owner got to know that i have forgotten to bring thick clothes and offered me her husband's winter jacket. Felt so touched by her warmth gesture. Room given was good and big. Enjoyed my stay in Waihi Motel.

The wife was out, so husband didn't know how to book us in. The motel was not obviously full, however they placed us in a room at the drive in. I didn't find the bed very comfortable (too soft). The reality vs the images on line did not match...
