On main road, bus to Medan dropped us outside which was useful. Only stayed one night on way to lake Toba. Cost £13 for a budget room so was cheap and the other hotels where fully booked. Room a good size, we booked double room got twins not really a problem. Windows where open but still stunk of cigarettes. Cigarettes burns everywhere furniture and carpets. Had hot shower and western toilet, but no toilet seat can't have everything. Limescale covers all the plumbing as everything leaks but you can close bathroom door so it doesn't disturbing your sleep., Very sadly there was a sign saying save water it made us smile. Breakfast is in the price was ok, rice, veg, toast, chicken, tea and coffee. We had to wake the breakfast boy up at 6.30 breakfast is served in coffee shop at back 6am to 9am. We arrived at 21.00 left at 07.00 it served a purpose.
