Great Location, Nice StaffGood location, spacious room, and there's a window for natural daylight. The staffs are super-nice and helpful. I stayed in a female dorm located at the ground floor. It's perfect because I don't have to carry my bags to the room upstairs. However they have a little issue with the cleanliness of the bathroom. It needs to be cleaned more frequent, maybe more than once a day.

Location is fantasticThe location is just a step stone from the Busaras Terminal. Coming from the airport, take an airport bus, and stop at Busaras Terminal. You don't have to walk far while carrying your luggages. From the hostel you can walk to several attractions in Dublin such as The Spire, Temple Bar, Dublin Castle, Trinity College, and St. Patrick's Church. When I come to Dublin again, I surely would stay in this hostel.

Paddy made it a PalaceThe staff who greeted me when I entered (late) was really rude to me, telling me to get away from the front desk as it was after 11:00 PM, before I had spoken two sentences of friendly greeting to him. When I chastised his rudeness, he started ferociously arguing with me till I had to flee to my room imploring him to "STOP" as we was ruining my night with his negativity. The staff the next day, a lovely Irish lad named Paddy, (the night guy was distinctly NOT Irish) was very apologetic and went out of his way to show me true courtesy and manners, as I think his cohort's behavior had deeply embarassed him on behalf of his employ. The place has no common room after 11:00PM, so the night staff get greedy for their solitude, apparently, even though one has to cut a path through it to get to the room. I had found this to be the case one previous occasion as well, so I am detecting a pattern here. The place also has no wifi access after 11PM, depending what room you are in, so you are best here if an early riser. Of course, those German girls who came in after midnight and then chatted for a couple hours in the room after lights out did not care if anyone was an early riser, that is, until THEY were ready to sleep. But that's a hostel for you. I met two very nice chaps in the kitchen who fed me a delightful cous-cous and pork lunch and had a truly memorable meal with them, Andrew and Rob, and I do hope to meet them again and hope they found Scott's Cheap Flights! I will probably return to this hostel just to make sure that they did!
