The hotel is about a 30-minute drive from Ubud city center. It is recommended to buy drinks and snacks in advance as it is quite far inside. Taxis and Gojek are hard to find, and even if you manage to get a taxi, the reception staff informed us that they would charge around 450k for a one-way trip. So we rented a car to get around. The room service food quality was good, similar to restaurant quality. Breakfast is available at either the 1st floor pool view restaurant or the 4th floor restaurant. We tried both, and the 4th floor was better as the 1st floor was too sunny. The breakfast menu was slightly different. Dinner on the 4th floor was also better than the 1st floor. The 1st floor restaurant offers simple meals like pizza and pasta that you can have while using the pool, while the 4th floor has more main dishes like steak. The room cleaning service was good, and the provided amenities were nice, so we didn't need to buy anything separately. The swimming pool is a heated pool, maintained at around 31 degrees, but it didn't feel very warm. However, after visiting other resort pools, we realized that Padma's pool was indeed a heated pool. It was great for evening swimming. The pool is open until 9 PM, and they provide a bonfire in the evening for roasting marshmallows, but we didn't try it. Overall, we were very satisfied, and even though we stayed for 3 nights, we would consider staying for more than 5 nights if we visit Bali again. Among the 3 hotels we stayed at during our 7-night, 8-day trip to Bali, Padma was the best. We would love to come back here again.

If I could rate this resort 10 out of 5, I would! This is hands-down one of the best resorts I've ever stayed in the world. My wife and I stayed here in late May for 4 nights and it was one of the best experiences ever and we wished we had stayed longer. The resort itself is truly beautiful and sprawling in the "jungles" near Ubud all the while feeling very intimate and personable. From it's fantastic rooms (beds, sheets, and pillows are to die for) to it's impeccably maintained property, we were hard-pressed to find anything wrong. The pool alone is one of the best I've ever enjoyed with a breathtaking view... it's just the one and it's all you need! The Butler service, via WhatsApp, is extremely useful and they are very helpful and polite. We arranged our airport car service pickup and it all went smoothly. Our driver was ERMAN he was there on time and provided a smooth transition into our first time into Bali culture. The drive to the resort from the airport was about 2 hours depending on traffic which is notoriously unpredictable (but an adventure in and of itself). ERMAN is AMAZING! He provided so much info on our ride and made us feel very comfortable. At reception, CHINTYA, checked us in (and also checked us out). She was very pleasant and warmly welcomed us and explained everything very patiently and thoroughly. That evening, after we settled in and had some lunch by the pool, we went back to reception top organize some activities/tours for the upcoming days and ARDJIANA was very helpful in booking the Tour of Ubud with none other than ERMAN and the next day the Chasing Waterfalls Tour with TINA. Also, he helped us schedule our massages and our dinner & breakfast reservations. The Tour of Ubud included Mount Batur viewing point, Tirta Empul Water Temple, Tagalalang Rice Terraces, Sacred Monkey Forest, and shopping at center of Ubud. We took the shuttle back to the hotel from Ubud. Once again, ERMAN was awesome and a great sport. Highly recommended this tour as tour as it's all nearby and lasts about 5-7 hours. The Chasing Waterfalls tour with TINA and driver ANJUNG was incredible and a highlight. TINA was joy and is an incredible photographer/videographer! She was extremely helpful and made sure we were taken care of and offered to take pictures and videos of our experiences. We rode in an open top VW convertible from 1976 and it was incredible. We visited three waterfalls. But first we mad a 5 min detour (30 min overall) to the Happy Bali Swing to fulfill my wife's desire and it was EXTREMELY worthwhile as it was less lacked as other popular locations and offered much more for less cost. The three waterfalls we visited: Kanto Lampo, Tamansar, and Tibumana waterfalls. Each were incredible. The first very crowded due to its Instagram fame, the second was my favorite with a chance for a swim, and the third was my wife's favorite. To end the day, we had a picnic lunch prepared by Padma near the last waterfall at a rice field restaurant which was gorgeous. The whole experience lasted about 7 hrs. HIGHLY recommend this tour... can't miss! The last day and night we spent enjoying and relaxing at Padma. The staff and service is impeccable. You can't understate the charm in that Bali smile and friendliness! We enjoyed the Agroforestry tour with SUNADA and we were thoroughly impressed with his knowledge and passion and the amount of food they grow on site and use in their daily food offerings is fantastic for sustainability. The food there is extremely good and very healthy. We also had some wonderful couples massages for 2 hours each with MIRA and EMI. The spa is amazing (like an underground water cave) and both of them were really good masseuses! On our last night, we enjoyed the Jungle BBQ under the stars and a full moon! It was brilliant and perfect end to our stay at Padma. We also had a transfer to our next resort and guess who was our driver for the next few hours? ERMAN! On

Review of Padma Ubud Resort My recent stay at the Padma Ubud Resort was nothing short of extraordinary, and I am thrilled to share my experience. From the moment I arrived, the exceptional service was apparent. The staff was incredibly courteous, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. The accommodations were outstanding, with my room being both spacious and impeccably clean. The elegant decor and cozy ambiance created a perfect sanctuary for relaxation after exploring the beautiful surroundings of Ubud. The attention to detail in maintaining the room was commendable, and it truly felt like a home away from home. One of the highlights of my stay was the charming animal garden. Absolutely amazing experience with the hotel. We could not point out anything disappointing in our entire stay. We thought we'd feel the lack of a beach in Bali, but not at all! The hotel is more than equipped to provide a unique experience in the middle of the jungle. The staff are by far the greatest asset of Padma. The service levels from every single member of the team (check-in, butlers, cleaners, housekeeping, waiters, security guards) was exceptional. Kind, attentive, always smiling and ever ready to help. Special mentions to Sardikat from the animal garden who was our ever ready helper while fishing and teaching us about the otters that we got to feed everytime we caught some fish. Also to Winwin, an amazing young lady serving us at Puhu restaurant that captured our heart with her kindness and smile. We will remember our trip because of the amazing Padma crew. We have to mention 2 scenarios that displayed the dedication of the staff and hotel. One night our 3 year old unfortunately wet the bed in his sleep and we called the butler service. In 5 minutes, housekeeping was in our room changing all the bed linen. We had a fresh new bed just 10 minutes from our call. Just outstanding! Another one happened when I called room service on July 1st, to order my favorite dish (Nasi Goreng Babi) that I ate the previous night. Unfortunately the restaurant had just changed their menu from July onwards and the dish was no longer available. My wife and I were really disappointed and the butler service realized that we were. They went out of their way to speak to their executive chef and organize for the dish to be especially available for our room until the end of our stay. The butler service staff names were Dani & Serati. These are just some of the amazing gestures from the staff that made our stay 5-star! Thank you Padma Ubud. You've truly left us with a memory of Balinese hospitality that will not fade away.

Love the kids outdoor and indoor activities ! Other activities for family like animal feeding and fishing too! Room is big and clean. This resort has a nice view and quiet. Lots of other facilities like free shuttle to the ubud town area that we didn't get to use since there's so much to do in the resort itself. Will definitely come back again!
