Rooms are equipped with big, comfortable beds and linens, hot water en suites, aircon, cable and WiFi, plus sliding glass doors to the beach or overlooking it. There is no pool on-site, but Bulabog Beach is literally your backyard which also happens to be where all the kite-surfing, paraw-sailing and SUP schools are found. No room service and breakfasts are the only meals on offer (ample and a mere P200). But no worries as amenities like restaurants and spas are nearby, and Pahuwayan will recommend professional masseuses and the like if in-room services are preferred. Location is about 10 minutes walk to D'Mall and the entertainments of White Beach. Friendly staff speak English, Tagalog and a smattering of Visayan dialects. WiFi all the way to the water's edge as well. Overall, Pahuwayan provides the essential balance of a quiet location and quick access to all the amusements on Boracay Island.

Great place and honest staff”
I really enjoyed my stay at Pahuwayan even there there was a little hiccup at the beginning. Approaching the property from the beach, I was already impressed as the exterior and the landscaping was one of the best as we walked past several along the beach. After checking in we were equally impressed by the modern and clean room that had an amazing view. The only problem was our AC wasn't blowing cold air. Unfortunately, the AC guy could come that day and the place was completely full. So the manager put us up in the next door resort for the night. Althought the place wasn't as nice, we were able to keep our stuff in Pahuwayan, but still sleep in an AC cooled room at night. This was a satisfactory resolution to that nights problem. The next day we found out that the AC would be fixed anytime soon, so the Manager moved us the another room that was just as good, just on a different floor. In fact, we liked the new room better, not only because the AC was working perfectly, but because the room had a mini frige and the other didn't. Anyway, it's not often you find a budget property with this kind of view and this kind of honest service. I highly reommend this place is you are looking for an alternative to the expensive and busy White beach.

just for sleeping, don't expect too much!”
Pahuwayan Suites is ok for sleeping, comfortable with basic room facilities. But don't expect too much in this beach front hotel, since the view of Bulabog Beach is not so good, white beach side is much better! Many fish boats are around Bulabog Beach, many local people selling all kinds of activity and stuff, these may feel annoying when need to walk through or out the hotel. The hotel is a little bit away from the main road of boracay, need to walk through narrow street in about 5-10 mins, quite dark at night but don't be worry its very safe, very easy to catch water in rainy season, many tricycles around that sometimes cause traffic jam. The hotel has a shared kitchen area, can buy seafood and cook ourselves. But other facilities are very limited. WiFi signal is not good, only available in lobby or outside the room in upstairs, sometimes cannot be connected even in lobby, need to ask the hotel staff for help, I see they need to reset some internet devices. If want to join activities or transport service for return, the hotel could be provided but the pricing is not so attractive. There are still many choices outside.

Lovely !! It's right in front of the beach!”
We were shocked to arrive on the very first day with no electricity. There was a blackout around the Bulalog beach area. It was dark when we arrived at Boracay island and we'd to take a tricycle to Pahuwayan Suites since it is along the small lane which big vehicle cannot drive through. We almost wanted to cancel our booking as we're too surprised to find ourselves checking into a dark hotel with no electricity! There were a few candles and torch lights to light the surroundings. The owner lent us a torch light so we could get our way to the main street for dinner. We're told that the light would come after 10pm. When we took our dinner and found our way back to the hotel using the small torch to shine the way. But the light did not come on time. We were all too tired to wait anymore, do we'd to bath with the torch light. What an experience which we never had countered before in Singapore! The room was stuffy, but we did not dare open the balcony door since it was too dark that we did not know what is behind door and if it's safe to open. However as my husband was feeling unwell due to the lack of fresh air, we'd tried to slowly opened up the balcony. It was nice as there was sea breeze filling the room and everybody's mood was better. After having waited pasted mid-night, the light finally came! What a relief! The next morning, we then realized that our hotel is in fact just next to the beach and you can simply sit outside your balcony to enjoy the sea breeze!

We had a very good stay at Pahuwayan Suites. Only complain is that the bulabog beach which the hotel faces is a little out of the way and isn't swim friendly.

Away from the town's bustles ”
We're in a group of 4! 2 Couples & we got room next to each other (Room 6&7) We were welcomed by the serenity of Bulabog Beach. Great Great View. Housekeeping did a marvelous jobs on both of our rooms. It is about 5-10mins walk to D'mall not that bad. But it was raining half of the our stay so it wasn't that convenient when we wanna go D'Mall for food/party or swim. besides that everything is good. It is exactly like the Gallery pictures. best place to stay in boracay”
its our 1st yr wed anniv and we wanted to spend it in Boracay coz thats where we got married. this is my second time, and we are just so lucky we found this in agoda, too bad we didnt look hard enough during our wedding stay. the staff are friendly, location is the besT! front beach, their room is so beautiful with the best beach view, well interior/exterior. what you see in photo, is not enough when you see it in person. its just great. their bed is so comfy! their ref is so cold that their small freezer froze my drink in few hours. lol. ive spent time in a lot of hotel and their AC is the best so far- its cold. the details of the hotel is just breathtaking, even small details made everything so beautiful - really great interior/exterior design! price is great for its location, room design, and breakfast. we just love thier breakfast. we are a big fan of pancake bacon and egg combination. lol. the place is very quiet, just what we need. my husband decided that everytime we will go back to Bora, we will definitely stay here!

Very nice hotel and friendly staff”
I booked 2 queen size rooms at Agoda on new years eve. But Pahuwayan suites only received a reservation for 1 room from Agoda.(Agoda please fix this problem) Pahuwayan was only left with 1 available room. The owner was very helpful and tried to find us 1 more room from the nearby hotels but since it was new years eve, everything was fully booked. The 4 of us ended up having to share a room, Other than this unpleasant incident, Pahuwayan suites is awesome, nice big rooms facing the ocean, Super friendly staff, good for kite surfing trips and away from the noise at white beach. I will definitely come back and stay at Pahuwayan suites again! (Agoda please look into this problem)

good stay!”
I really liked this place, stayed there for 6 days total. Its right in front of bulabog beach which means sea activities is just 10metres or so, away. Plus point is that it is also just a 5mins walk away from D'mall and another 5mins from white beach. Just a little thing to note is that it is a rather "dirty" walk to the D'mall on rainy days since the pathway there tends to retain a lot of water due to uneven surface, also in the night it is rather creepy to walk alone back to the hotel due to the lack of lighting on the pathway. However, with the friendly staff and boss, the dirty walk is just a small issue, you get dirty at the beaches anyway. They have a foot wash at the hotel entrance for a good washing :) They also have a dog there named "Cabrina" if i didnt get her name wrongly, shes a friendly dog who just recently had baby puppies, however she doesnt get enough food, so feeding her babies made her all skinny and boney so if you are ever there and if you love dogs, please do buy her some dog food from the super market nearby and feed her, the staff are really thankful for anyone who can provide some food for the dog since they are not able to feed her due to lack of funds and yes they love her. Im a animal lover so it breaks my heart to see such a thin dog, so i bought her some food and she was really hungry. she also loves gentle strokes on her forehead and tummy, a really gentle dog, so do give her some food if you can, e.g rice with canned dog food makes her day. :) Overall, it was a great stay at a great hotel with great friendly staff and a gentle doggy who has really cute puppies! you can ask to see the puppies, sometimes the staff brings 1 of them over to the hotel and they are really cute :D I hope you have a nice time at this place too!

Comfortable beachfront hotel”
Room was on 2nd floor with balcony overlooking Bulabog Beach. It was clean with a comfortable bed, 4 pillows and duvet. In room facilities include a flat screen TV, wifi, a bean bag and a small closet with safety box. Bathroom was also clean with a rainshower spray head and wood deck but as it had no door the water often flood the floor. Water pressure and temperature can be erratic but most of the times it worked perfectly. There is a communal area near reception with long tables, refrigerator and stove if you want to prepare your own meals. For breakfasts you need to go down to the little hut on the beach where they also have a kitesurfing school to order. They will then bring your breakfast tray to your room. Staff was friendly but breakfast service was a bit slow considering this is not a big hotel. But then everything is freshly prepared and seems like the whole island is on a laidback mode all the time.

A Lovely beachfront but affordbale hotel”
pahuwayan suites is a cozy and nicely decorated hotel located at a relatively remote part on the island. the room is spacious with lcd tv, a small balcony facing the beach (not the white beach though) and sea. just a few step to various activities on the beach. the island itself is not big, but some tuk tuk drivers do not really know how to get to pahuwayan suites; yet, just tell them to go 7stone will do.

Amazing bed! Comfortable sleep!”
It was a memorable stay for my & my fiancé..Being his first time in Boracay, staying in Pahuwayan gave him more reasons to love the place as much as I do :) The quality of the bed was superb it was very comfortable & clean! The design was simply modern & very chic...probably the only let down was the location, but it was already stated that its not along the beach front (station 1-3) so it was kinda expected hence its acceptable. Nonetheless, will definitely consider this place again:)

Worth the money for the price we're paying.”
The hotel is located at Bulabog beach which is within walking distance to Station 2 (approx 8min). Using the backlane is quite complicated. My advice is using the route from the beach. As you reach the beach, turn left and walk around 50metres and you will see a small lane. Walk along the lane until the end where you can see Palassa Spa. That is where you have actually arrived at Station 2. As for the rooms, it's big and spacious with internet access. You have a garden if your room is on the ground floor whereas the upper floor will have a balcony. The view is stunning especially early in he morning when the sun rises. One setback was the blackout occurring quite frequent. I stayed there for a total of 4nights and I experience 2 nights of blackout at different time frames which lasted from an hour to almost 2hours+.

Good if you can take the cons”
Upon touching down and took the land transfer, I took the trike to my hotel and had to walk through a rough and dark lane towards Pahuwayan suites. Upon reaching the hotel at 7pm, i realised it was having a blackout (note that we are the only hotel to experience it. Imagine after 6 hours of flight and land transfer and looking forward to our hotel room, only to realise that your you will not have the basic of a hotel(warm water, light and aircon). I wanted to change my hotel immediately but i was told that it would be ok tomorrow. Also. i stayed on the ground floor, i had to open my glassdoor with the fear of insects and of course any other people to enter my room. The second day around 12pm i checked with the owner if the electricity would be up, he mentioned they are fixing it and hence it 'should be ok' by end of the day. It was a mix emotion for me as i really liked the room when i woke up, it was clean and modern with a good view of bulabog sea. Therefore i decided to give another chance to stay on. Upon returning to my hotel in evening, i realised that our hotel were lit up. I was so happy (over light?), but only to realise that we only have light and heater, but no aircon again! The same conditions on the 3rd day till i leave Boracay. My advice is, please stay here if you can endure cold water, sleep without aircon and walk in the room without lights. Other than that, everything about this suites is so good, i like the breakfast, the workers, the room design and cleanliness. To the owner: Please fix the issue with electricity, you are not operationally ready. Proper hotels would have backup generators. Imagine you paid for all the basics and unable to use and how would you feel? We are not offered any form of compensation for 1day without heater/lights as well as 3 days without aircon.

I reserved Queen size room but it was very small so I changed King size room and I paid more 1500php for 3 night. The hotel was good location, view and staff but I couldn't borrow a hair dryer. I wanna they have more dryer and phone charger. It was my second time, stayed Pahuwayan Suites. I love there !

the pahuwayan suites are not on white beach, swimming is not possible as the whole beach is used for surfing. more, this beach is not really clean, several pipes with dirty waters enter the sea on this side, very strong winds. however, for surfers this is a paradise. the suites are modern and there is a kitchen to be used if needed.

A relaxing & value for money stay”
Although we have an unpleasant experience of a cockroach in the room on the first night of our stay, but the staff help us to get rid of it. Overall, the staying experience was great. Room with great view, facing the beach. Will consider to stay at Pahuwayan again for the next visit.

Good place if prefer silent night ”
Pahuwayan is base in Bulabog beach, that is the silent and peace area if you prefer privacy. Room is clean. Staff is friendly and helpful, But hard to get any staff at front desk at the night time.I suggest people who decide to staying there must get some mineral water or any light food before back to hotel because is hard to get food stall or store near by bulabog beach.From hotel to DMall, station 1 or station 2 just need 10minute by walking way. Beach at bulabog is dirty and really suitable for swimming . The overall of Pahuwayan is good to stay.

Great view”
the rooms were good size witha balcony. we stayed on the second floor which gave us a beautiful view of the sea. the kiting school was right infront of us. unfortunately no wind during our stay there. it is 10 min walk across th island to rch the white beach or you can get a tricicle for php. overall a nice place to stay if you are planning to do some kiting.

Nice Accommodation & Good Location”
Booked 2 King Size Bedroom with Pahuwayan Suites for 3 nights. Despite some misunderstanding, we enjoyed our stay there. Rooms were spacious and clean with great view of Bulabog Beach. Pahuwayan is also conveniently located about 10-15mins walk from D Mall. There are however a few things that can be improved. Service level can be improved slightly to make guests feel more welcomed and would be nice to have a fridge and a bigger safe for personal belongings. Overall, a relatively new and nice hotel with good location.
