Where to stay in Pai City Center
Pai City Center hotels & accommodations

29-30 Aug 2014 I'm Thai. I spend 2 days 1 night at The Oia Pai Resort & Spa. It's rainy season in Pai. Fresh air Hospitality, Service mind, Warm welcome. Big and clean room. I love their breakfast (ABF, rice, soup, salad, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit, juice and many bread) They has free kayak, bicycle and shuttle bus to walking street. This is the best hotel in Pai ...

This hotel is located just a couple hundred meters from the heart of the Pai City. Room is very spacious, love the layout and how they use outdoor area most effectively. The outdoor shower/bathtub are the greatest idea. There is a small little dinner table outside under the candle and moon light :) Very recommended for couples. We would definitely go back there again. ...

Comfortable, luxury rooms with a great view. Nice quiet atmosphere centrally located in Pai near the walking street. The pool area is a fabulous area to lounge after trekking around Pai. The staff are friendly and helpful. The best place I stayed during my trip!

Although it is a few km from the Pai city centers there is a free shuttle there and back by the hotel, and if you get a motorcycle it's about a 5 minute drive- super easy. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, helpful and thoughtful and go above and beyond to make you feel great! The breakfast was good and the showers were AMAZING! We would definitely go back! Hi...

If you want to live in a place that is very convenience to get around Pai city, this hotel is it! I really like how the room is so big, clean, and has great views! The amount of money is so worth it to get such a very nice room here. I also enjoy the swimming pool as well! The staffs were very friendly, nice, and willing to help us with everything. Just have to say tha...

After reading all of the reviews, this place did not disappoint! It was in a perfect location. Only two minute walk from when you get off the bus and since Pai is so small, everything is near each other. This place is right off some of the main roads, which was perfect for noise. The room itself was one of the best we've come across for this kind of money. Usually you ...

This place was great. We were supposed to travel out of Pai but ended up not being able to get the tickets, so we found this place for one more night in Pai. Coming from a total backpackers' hostel, we were very excited to have a shower that was at least slightly separated from the toilet. This place was very clean, and even though it's near the town center with night ...

We had a great stay here. It was very quiet the entire week. The facilities are very new and up to date. The rooms are private and spacious. We had a small ant problem but it was quickly solved and we had no further complaints. The young man at the front offers a complimentary shuttle the short distance to and from town. We rented scooters a few days in, because they w...

Beautiful placed hotel near Pai city, you can go to the city, the hotel have a shuttle bus. The staff was very kind, the food very good. The bungalow was beautiful and clean. In the reception you can use the internet free. We can recommend this hotel and we will come again.

We spent 16 night at this beautiful place, the villa was very clean, well kept with a great view. Although there’s a bit of a language barrier, if you take your time the owner and her staff are more than willing to go out of their way to help, she gave us a lift to Pai when we arrived to get a scooter and then gave us a lift to the bus stop when we left, they are all ...

The rooms were spacious and clean and similar to something you'd find in a 4 star hotel. The hotel is right on the walking street with plenty of good food options. We were very happy with our stay especially after suffering through the night at another hotel in Pai. Heads up - there is a chicken next door which starts squawking with the sun rise. It might have been din...

This beautiful vintage type of hotel is located only 1 km. away from Pai city where the shuttle car service can be provided any time we wanted. The hotel also provided free of charge Bicycle. There are plenty of flowers and locations provided for taking photo e.g. windmill, postbox, vintage decoration, etc. Big swimming pool is also available for hotel guests & oth...

The owner is very friendly and helpful. We came to have a look at Pairadise before we booked it as we were staying at a different hotel in Pai. When we arrived, he showed us the different rooms that were available and the facilities. We booked and arrived the next day. The hut we had was clean, modern and came with its own hammock on the porch. The big pond was full of...

Very nice retreat in Pai. It is about a mile from Pai city center. Bungalows are quiet and spacious. Close your windows at night unless you want gecko visitors! We both came down with food poisoning right before leaving, and the owner kindly arranged for a taxi and even paid for it, wishing us well!

We were very fortunate to stay here 6 nights. We were able to negotiate a small discount because of the amount of nights we stayed, but we had to change rooms a few times (this is because they were fully booked most of the nights we were there). But because we got to stay in several bungalows, we have the unique ability to review this place as an entire property versus...

The hotel room is comfortable with everything you may need. Add points: pool, garden like with spacious places, free bike rental & comfort bed. Minus points: location is a bit far from city center, but anyway, Pai is a very very small town, you can ride a bike to everywhere in town within 10 mins

I liked this place so much that I decided to stay there the whole time I was in Pai, which was extended from about 3 days to 2 weeks! It has the best location for the centre of Pai and the walking street as it is based just far enough down a quieter street that links directly to the walking street. The family that works there were some of the most kind and welcoming p...

Countryside is just a little outside of the city center and perfectly quiet and zen compared to the small and busy city center. Still walkable at night (after a few drinks) no more than 10 to 14 minutes depending on where you are. (My husband and I timed it for accuracy!!) The staff is very friendly and helpful and I found this to be my favorite stay so far for our bud...

I would strongly and highly recommend this hotel to everyone who intends to stay in pai. The room given to us is 5 star grade. Everything is new and clean. With beautiful views. Bathroom is big with a huge bath tub. The heater works and it feel wonderful soaking in the bath tub on a very cold weather in pai. Just 3 min walk to the pai walking street. The hotel don't pr...

Two nights stay here with family, We book 5 rooms here. It's a little far from city center around 1.5 km, But we are ok since have car rental ourself. Everything is good to us. Only the shower temperature is low, due to the weather is cold around 10 degree outside. I think this is common issue in Pai if you use electric water heater. My suggestion is try to lowe...

Wow! Smile house exceeded our expectations, beautiful clean huts on stilts. Comfortable beds and great balcony area. Breakfast was delicious and included in the price. It was a 5 minute walk across to walking street over a cute little bamboo bridge. Our host Minka made the stay even more amazing, she was so helpful and friendly! Free bottled water daily and fresh towel...

I loved this hostel : the view is amazing, I loved the infinity pool, the breakfast is delicious, the bungalows are cheap considering the comfort and charm, the scooter rental is cheap, close to the city center but situated in a peaceful and cute neighborhood. Only thing : don’t go there if you’re looking for something quiet. People are partying until midnight-1am wit...
Cheap places to stay in Pai City Center

The price/quality ratio is very good, but of course you get what you pay for. The staff is very very nice and helpful. But the facilities are not very good. The mattresses are rock hard and very thin, the room doors do not have a way to close. And you can expect to find all kinds of bugs inside or outside the room. (there's a bed net though) The common room is amaz...

We stayed in the cheap room and it was nice :) bathroom is open from the top and it's cold during winter there. We get extra blankets :) location is not like shown on agoda, it bit further so you need motorbike to go to town or you can ask staff to drop you if someone is there. The view is amazing and people around are nice :) they don't speak english but that's ok :P ...

That was a great hostel, at 10-15 min walk from the city center (it was fine for me). They clean the bathrooms everyday and you have free unlimited wifi that works well. The yard is nice, you have plenty of benches to seat outside and the staff are sooo helpful! They dont speak really well english, but we understood each other. When I arrived, the woman gave me 3 FREE ...

We were very happy here :) We stayed much longer than we originally booked for. The huts are comfortable but basic (that's why they're cheap), all huts are close to the shared bathroom which is clean, breakfast was good (eggs, toast, jam, tea/coffee) Good wifi. It's run by a very friendly young couple who are willing to help and make everyone feel welcome (in a relaxed...

Ant colony that was formed in my bungalow crawling all over my things (at least 10000 ants) and then i was told that i lived on the farm so its normal. Great, thanks for the discovery channel news. I wouldve preferred that you actually come into my cottage and see for yourself and offer me a room switch instead of educating me on nature. The cottages are nice. Mine d...

Great place to meet chill people. Common areas with hammocks, small restaurant/bar. Staff are friendly and always willing to help you feel more comfortable. Bungalows are very cute, private rooms spacious. Stoner friendly. 10-15 munute walk to town. I stayed at several hostels in Pai and found this to be the best one 👍

I can say 'BAAN MAI SAK IS THE BEST HOSTEL TO ENJOY PAI' with my confidence. it was felt like staying at my thai friend's house🍀 nice/kind/helpful/friendly and handsome(ㅋㅋㅋ) host + charming house + peaceful atmosphere + comfy hammock EVER! Because of baan mai sak, even though my plan was 3days in PAI, I had stayed here a month:)) I hope their business goes well and...

New hostel but a gem in itself, the best place I've stayed in all of Thailand. Beds are comfy and the aircon is great after a day spent in the sun. They also have one of the friendliest, obedient dogs I've ever met. She brightens up the hostel. However, the real star of the hostel is Lee. He's always willing to help to make your trip better with his bubbly personality ...

It was a gated complex with a large beautiful sprawling garden and fruit trees everywhere. 5 minute walk from walking street and very quite except for the chickens in the morning but that is literally ever accomidation in pai. You can avoid it. I would definitely return here over everywhere else I stayed in pai.

Paitopia is located in a beautiful country setting with amazing views, just outside the city center and a 15 minute walk from the famous walking street. I had a private hut but the bathroom and toilet were shared. The shower had plenty of hot water, which is great during the cold mornings. Room was never cleaned during my 5 night stay and even the outdoor bin (that w...

We have booked a solid house for our stay. It was one of our best stay in Thailand. If you are looking for a place to stay in Pai, stop looking and book this one? P.S. for more comfort I recommend solid house with own shower, no noise from street, very nice garden.

Staff was amazing! Very helpful and the breakfast that we got included was super tasty. Would definitely stay here again as it’s only a 5 min walk to the main road in Pai where all the restaurants and the food market opens at night. We loved Pai and Twin hut was part of that lovely experience!

I loved this hostel : the view is amazing, I loved the infinity pool, the breakfast is delicious, the bungalows are cheap considering the comfort and charm, the scooter rental is cheap, close to the city center but situated in a peaceful and cute neighborhood. The staff at Pai Friendly Resort were wonderful. They were very friendly and always willing to help out. They don't come in and clean the room every day, you can ask for it to be done, but it isn't done automatically, so if you need anything, you have to ask for it. They provide you with clean drinking water, the entire time you are there, along with a public cooking ...

We stayed 5 nights at the Thale Mhog. Nok, who runs the place goes out of his way to make guests feel at home. There's always a fire burning at night and food and drinks available. He even got up a 6:30 in the morning after a long night to bring us to the bus station with his side-car motorbike. He also knows everybody around and will tell you where the parties are at....

We arrived and walked up to orange grove which is only a 10 minutes easy walk and it was nice to get away from the busy main strip. The bungalows are set in a peaceful garden with lime, orange and banana trees. We booked the wrong dates, but luckily for us Carol had room and sorted us out. When arriving they do provide pick up when Carol's husband is Stroud. If you hav...

I chose this place for its location, just 2 min. away from the Market Walking Street. It's the perfect location if you are on your foot in Pai and chose not to ride a scooter because everything is at walking distance. The bungalows are big enough and clean and you have your own toilet so you have privacy. It's true though, as I read in some reviews, that if there are a...

We had a lovely time here. I was travelling alone with my 8 and 10 year old. At first when I realized I was not actually in the city center of Pai I was disappointed but then I realized it was much better this way. We could walk into town in 20-30 min and in exchange we got wonderful views, nature, a veranda with hammocks, peace. We loved it! The owner Ken even showed ...

We enjoyed our time in the banana house. The bungalow area invites you to relax and the bungalows offer everything you need. You can reach the city center within 5 to 10 minutes walking and it's location in a back street makes it nicely quiet. The WiFi worked well.

Unicorn was a great affordable place to stay, I will say it is close to the main road which makes it great location wise but you do get a bit of noise during the day. the swimming pool water was a bit cloudy but they cleaned it often. walking distance to anywhere in Pai''s town center
