This property is well known for its therapeutic hot springs, spa, health treatment, and ultimate relaxation. Eight kilometers south of Pai are the infamous hot springs of Thailand. While Pai is great for shopping, nightlife, and restaurants, this resort specializes in making you feel healthier and refreshed. Within a short walk from your cozy villa, you will be stepping into the soothing, detoxifying mineral waters of the resorts private hot springs. Herbs and volcanic mud are used delicately for the skin and face treatment at the spa and health club. Don’t forget to enjoy an authentic Thai massage or two. For anyone who needs a genuine holiday, the Pai Hotsprings Spa Resort puts a younger smile on anyone’s face.

Fantastic, serene, the true Thailand experience”
Getting to Pai by mini bus was an adventure in itself, once you arrive you are seduced by a quaint, quiet, beautiful village. The resort is beautifully located on the River Pai, with bungalows over looking either the mountains or river..the staff were extremely helpful and more than happy to take you into town and pick you up, if you dont have any transport. I would definitely go back to the Pai Hotsprings Spa Resort, i would consider Pai the highlight of my 2 weeks in Thailand. If you want the feel of "true" Thai life, go to Pai and stay at the Pai Hotsprings Spa Resort
A lot of fun!”
This was super affordable. The Pai Hotsprings Resort is about 1 KM away from the Pai Hotsprings. The tubs in the rooms have a "cold" top and a "mineral" tap. They aren't hot tubs. Why would you want to be in a hot tub in Thailand? I've been to 5 star resorts in Mexico. Pai is not Mexico. I'm not a millionaire, but this place was perfect for me, great pool, cheap food and drinks. We had a car so could get to Pai in under 15 mins (full of hippies). Resort was great, the property was nice. Bottom line, the price was great and I was extremely satisfied.
Beautiful resort with an amazing surroundings ”
It was a very lovely resort and we'll kept, gardeners throughout the day maintaining the grounds. The staff we're nice but could not speak great English so was hard to communicate in some circumstances. We had a man take our bags to the room which was very helpful as they were very heavy. The room was well kept and clean and was nice to stay in considering it was just a standard room it was very pleasant, some bugs in room but nothing you wouldn't normally see and was expected in the surroundings. The view was beautiful of the river and fields. The resorts surroundings were beautiful and the pool was so lovely to soak it all up, the pool was very big and clean and very peaceful. The restaurant food was very nice good choice at breakfast nothing fancy just standard but still nice and there was a good choice from Thai to Western food on the menu and was delicious. The staff were lovely & well mannered. The location was perfect just a 10-15 min drive into town which would be a very long walk back but there was a resort bus that would take you into town for free in specific time periods & was only 100 baht per person any other time, but stopped at 9pm which was difficult if you wanted to stay out a bit later in town as there are no taxi's in Pai it was difficult to get back to resort. Luckily we got a local to call the resort for us and very kindly picked us up from town and took us back to our resort which we was very grateful for. I would definitely recommend and even though we did not use their hotsprings we visited the local hotsprings which is a 5-10 min car ride and was a lovely trip. Just book day trip tours in town they are very good to do! Overall a lovely stay!
Lovely resort in a lovely town”
My husband and I stayed at the Pai Hotsprings Spa Resort for 2 nights in early January and enjoyed it very much. The only negative was that it was 5kms out of the town. This didn't bother us much as we had our own car, however, my husband wished we'd chosen somewhere in town. Personally, I was quite happy to travel to have the peace and quiet. The resort is just steps away from 3 elephant camps, also. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Pai Hotsprings Resort to our friends.
Literally the best place I ever stayed, it is so much better than it looks on the picture. This hotel has three hotsprings in their own garden, which are not on the agoda pictures so it was a very nice surprise when we arrived. We even had an outside bathtub at our own bungalow which in the evening was filled with hotspring water by the staff, so we look at the stars in our own private garden sitting in a hot bath. The staff is superfriendly, the surroundings are very peaceful and superbeautiful, elephants come to take a bath in the river at the hotel so there is always something beautiful to see. If agoda would have shown the real beauty of this place we would have booked more than two nights because we were really sad we had to leave this place. The only minor point of criticism we have is that the hotel works together with a very bad motorbike rental company, those guys tried to scam us in every possible way. So the hotel should start working together with another rental company than "happy pai" to provide guests with motobikes. But it is not the hotel's fault that those guys are so terrible, the people of the hotel are the best!
Great place, lovely views”
The grounds are well maintained with a great variety of native plants. The pool and spas are well maintained as well. Currently, much of the woodwork is a bit worn though. Poolside planks crackle under foot and some even came out with their nails exposed. Same for the bridge to our room, with exposed nail heads aching to get at our feet. The resort is a perfect place for exploring around Pai without being locked in town and the vibe there.
Thank you for the review. Next time, come to visit again. Best regards, Natchawin J. ( Mhok)
Amazing place - quiet, misty, relaxing”
We stayed for 3 nights in the resort and we were very happy about it! The atmosphere was quiedt until a big Indian family came on the left and a big Thai family came on the right, which made it little noisy. The place was clean and the mineral water tube on the terrase was pure bliss! When the 3 days passed so quicly we realised it was a very shor time to stay there. We had a motorbike and were quite independant to go and look around and get to Pai. Pai Hot Springs Resort is more than 10 km away from Pai and you definetly need transportation if you want to look around - to the Hot Springs National Park or to the Elephant Camps.
Pai Hotsprings Resort”
We were recommended this resort from a friend in Chiang Mai and it didn't disappoint. We stayed 2 nights and loved it. Because it was low season, there weren't too many guests there but you could tell that even when full, it would be a very quiet and peaceful place to stay. Check in was easy, the room was clean and the breakfast included was great. They even did laundry on site for us for a good price. Because of its location, make sure you have a car/motorbike to get to and from Pai (15 minutes). Would go back again for sure.
Good Service mind”
Spacious room, 3 outdoor hot spring pools serving for guests, beautiful location suitable for recharging your energy and good service mind staffs, scence around the resort is very romantic. There is one round van service from resort to pai downtown which 7 kilometers far. Suitable for biking to deeply touch in pai nature. Calm and safety. Hot spring pool is great.
Beautiful Location, Private Hot Springs Tubs don't work”
I have enjoyed going for a swim and soak in the communal springs at Pai Hotsprings Resort several times in the last five years. I was excited to finally book a room there with a private hotsprings tub. Imagine my disappointment when I turned on the water to find only cold water coming from the tap, then to be told that there is not enough hotsprings water available to fill private tubs anymore. I was told it has been two years since the private tubs could be filled with hotsprings water. Just cold tap water is available for the tubs. At least they could hook up a hot water heater so you could have a hot soak in some kind of water at your private room. Despite this disappointment, we were able to soak after-hours in the communal springs. The grounds are still lovely and rooms are clean. The included breakfast was also better than many I've had elsewhere. This is the fourth place I've stayed in Pai, and I have yet to find the perfect spot. Every
Nice Hot Spring Resort with Good Service”
The hotel is very quiet and peaceful, there is a hotspring pool inside the hotel, the service is very good, they deliver our luggage to our rooms since it requires some walk, we need to check out early in the morning to see sunrise, the hotel manager even helped us to pack take-out breakfast!
Nice atmosphere ”
Stayed for one night there, because wanted to visit Pai Canyon which is in close proximity, and enjoy the hotspring bath to relax after flight (which was possible only in early morning, as in this season it was +40° outside temperature and water in bath is pretty hot). Manager was helpful to arrange transport. The area of the resort is very pleasant, to walk around and enjoy the nature. Room was clean, just water in the shower was a bit tricky - mostly room temperature and randomly becoming warm after a while if lucky. Overall good experience, good for those planning activities at canyon or elephant camp.
Pros: semi-private hot spring for each set of rooms, beautiful swimming pools, gorgeous views of surrounding farmland, quaint location near pai but away from bustle of city center, very pretty resort, clean room, daily cleaning service, tea and coffee in room Cons: hot water in shower was slow to come, shower drain slow You will want a motorbike to stay here if you are able to pull yourself from the swimming pool to visit town.
Nice environment and hot spring, cold shower and dated rooms”
The staff and environment around the hotel are very nice, including the elephant camp directly behind where they walk them down to the Pai River at the resort. The hot spring is very relaxing. Unfortunately a big problem and deal-breaker for us also travelling with a toddler is there was NO HOT WATER for showering. This seems ironic with natural hot springs abound. We wouldn't have stayed here if we had known this. It would be cheap for the resort to fix this but I feel they manage it as a tourist trap - most people stay once in their lives because of what it's close to. Also they should fill the holes in the wall so less insects and lizards get into the room. Also, there is no fridge or TV which seems strange compared to any other accommodation we've ever stayed at in Thailand. The TV we were fine without, but we didn't realise there was no fridge until we returned and had to leave our food out overnight. Could be a perfect stay if the resort cared to fix these few issues, mainly there being no hot water for showering! Fine for backpackers, not for families!
Thank you for the review. Next time, come to visit again. With regards, Natchawin J.
We looked at a lot of reviews for this resort and were a bit skeptical booking. I am so glad we did! There is a lot of truth to the previous marginal reviews. The place needs some work, there are strange animals around (Our unexpected guest was a big frog that jumped out of the toilet paper roll) but I don't know if there is anywhere else where you can have the experiences that we had here. We had elephants (domesticated) wandering by headed to the river while we had lunch! The hot springs and pool was incredible, although one has to be careful of loose boards on the deck. The food in the restaurant was very marginal, but we took advantage of the downtown shuttle. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Thank you🥰 for your time to write a review at our resort. We are very pleased that you are satisfied with our service. Including accommodation facilities which we are constantly developing and improving And sincerely hope that we will welcome you On the next opportunity again With regards Natchawin Jirachotchoksetkul Resort Assistant Manager
Very nice hotspring facilities...”
+ 3 hotspring baths (one very authentic style but hot) + nice swimming pools + hotspring/pool free for guests + desk lady nice + very good value for money - wooden floor around swimming pools dangerous & need removal - standard rooms not extremely clean (bathroom) - mosquito invasion during certain times a day - hard to stay without own transportation (remote location)
A little disappointed but great hotspring pool”
We booked it as it advertises the private hotspring bathtub that comes with the room on the balcony (which was a pretty big one with nice view of the mountain and the stars) even though we know that it is much further out of town area than most other places (about 8km away). However, when we checked in and tried it out, it wasn't working at all. The water wasn't hot and it took about 2 hours or so to fill half of the tub. We were told that the tubs were not working very well because of some restrictions put on them by the authority or something along that line. We sorted out to their big hotspring pool instead, which was very nice in the cold winter weather by night time. However, due to the main reason of staying there was ruined, we were very disappointed and the staff wasn't doing anything to help with the situation. The location of the hotel from town meant that we had to rent a motorbike from town to get around anywhere as there was nothing in the area or place we can find food if it's any later than 9pm. None of the staff was helpful with the bike rental information nor the directions. I think we'll avoid this place next time we're in Pai... at least until they can fix the hotspring bathtubs situation.
Good view, Good Room but need some improvement...”
Staying in Chalet River view wtih 4 yrs old girl, wife and my father on the trip. We're very fine with room as there already have one king and one single in our room.. But they will charge you for extra person, need to negotiate.. From our room 502 is very nice view facing river and mount, Recomment this zone as near to restaurant and lobby.. Big bathroom with big outdoor jacuzzi (big enough for 4 yrs old girl and 2 adults laying) and hot spring, ... Elephant camp in walking distance with pick up service from hotel... Very big swimming pool facing river... Very very big resort... Improvement need... - Hot spring is available only evening on peak season, Sep-Oct will get 24 hrs... Not informed on website.. - No inhouse phone in the room - Need car since it's 10 kms to walking street - No wireless in room, only in lobby.. - No DVD player.. - Breakfast is simple., staff always checks if you're more people for extra charge anyway staff is very nice... - No bike for rent in resort.. - Hotspring pool is dirty.. Overall we're happy with the resort and will come back to stay in same room... Better price to book with AGODA...
Pai HotSprings resort”
Pai is a great location for all sorts of travellers, with backpackers prevalent. The HotSprings resort is several kilometres from town and ideally you will have your own transport, though the hotel has buses. It is signposted, but you need sharp eyes! This is a place for families or couples, not really lone travellers looking for social life. Wonderfully quiet, most rooms with river views. Several elephant camps within walking distance. Breakfast adequate when we visited (March) but may be better when hotel is busier.
Private Hotsprings in Your Room”
The resort is quite far from the town and the road towards it is quite small. However, the staffs are prompt and helpful. The room is nice and well designed. The best thing is the mineral hotsprings water from Ta Pai Hotsprings is served to the bath tub in our room. Time to get the tub full is around an hour, but it's worth to wait. Breakfast is nice too!
