Modern, affordable, comfortable & clean. Fast wifi”
After being crammed for 3+ hours in a minivan, hurdling past 762 curves up the mountain, from Chiangmai to Pai, it was so nice to arrive at Paiuree Villas and discover that our cute villa looked better in person than it did in the pictures on agoda.com!!! The aircon was crispy and cool, the decor was warm and inviting, the beds were so comfy, there was a mini fridge in our room, hair dryer, bottled water, cute towels, large & clean bathroom...basically everything we could have hoped for, and at such a bargain! The wifi was excellent and our room rate even included breakfast, but we never woke up in time for it. The guesthouse is just a short walk from the city center, and even with our heavy backpacks, we didn't think it was such a hurdle getting to and from. It's close enough to walk to everything conveniently, but just far away enough to be away from all the noise. Motorbike parking is available in the hotel. I would definitely stay at Paiburee Guest House again ;)

Backpackers paradise, close to walking street ”
I stayed at Paiburee for 3 nights while traveling with my friend - one of our best finds yet! Not only is it right off the walking street, it is only a 5 ,in walk from the bus station, so makes traveling/getting around very convenient. The accommodations are basic but fully meet the needs of any traveler. The lady at the guest house is extremely pleasant and nice (although her English isn't the best - but I have been told that the gentleman who runs the place speaks English fluently - just happened to be in Chiang Mai at the time. The breakfast included is good too, eggs toast, sausages and coffee. Definitely recommend this quaint and conveniently located guest house.

Perfect Guest House close to walking street”
I was traveling with a friend, and Paiburee was perfect for our needs. The staff is very friendly (although they don't speak much english) and the made-to-order breakfast was a great bonus. The guest house is a 3 minute walk from the walking street and maybe a 6 minute walk from the bus station and place to rent scooters. The only thing that was little of a con, but didn't prove to be a problem, was the lack of an in-room safe. The accommodations are basic, but it's not like you are going to stay in your room when you go to Pai!

Why should you drop by at Paiburee !”
For the amount of room charges compared with the wonderful service rendered + the ever smiling staffs whenever we approached them for help. It is good enough to convince me that Paiburee Guest House ios the place that I should never miss !

Simple, comfortable accommodation.”
The cottages are simple and quaint. Each is quite different in character. They reminded me of some of the villas on Mykonos. The guest house is about a 5 minute walk to 'Walking Street' and a 10 minute stroll to the river. The breakfast was consistent (might need a slight degree of variation and inventiveness if one were to stay for more than 2/3 nights). We enjoyed the relaxed, come-as-you-go atmosphere of the accommodation. The only niggly feature was the lack of really hot water in the showers. It's chilly in the winter mornings in Pai and a good, soul-warming shower would have been soothing (probably not invigorating). Pai is simply lovely and the variety of excellent eateries is exceptional. The drive through the mountains (125 kms took over 2 hours) is breathtaking. Thank you Paiburee.

Exceptional”
The guesthouse is really nice and provided everything that we needed. The guys went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay, providing bottled waters and recommendations for us every day. The room was warm during the day but cool at night which was nice. We opted for the breakfast option and had very nice food each morning with fruit and coffee afterwards. The location is just a couple of minutes ride out of the centre of town so it’s nice and quiet during the day and evenings. Communication was great and we were able to extend our stay easily. Thank you very much! If we return to Pai we will definitely be back in Paiburee.

As promised, comfortable and convenient”
We had a comfortable stay in Pai, and would happily stay at Paiburee Guest House again. The room was big, the wifi worked well, the breakfast was pretty decent, and the location was convenient for wandering through town. Off-street scooter parking was a plus, too.

Great place to stay,, always use this place!”
Have stayed at Paiburee a few times now. It is a great place with very big clean rooms and comfortable beds. The owner is a lovely lady called Arm who will do anything to help you, along with her son and the other lady helper they make a great team! We always stay here when were in town, cant reccomend this place enough. Comfortable, friendly great value for money and a 2 minute walk to town centre. Smurf the dog is also a character, beautiful very well trained and will look out for you when you come home at night. See you next time guys

Great service and lovely room”
The guest house is located in the northwest of the center of Pai town, near by the river side (but no river view). Very nice cottages, with nice decoration, warm service. It is 10 minutes' walk from guest house to walking street, not too far, not too close. The staff in the guest house are very polite, and always smails to you, and the breakfast is great too.

Lovely Guest house”
This Guest house is cute, quiet and not far from the town center. You can walk to bus station within 5 mins and to walking street in less than 5 mins. You can not access wifi free. You have to pay more Baht for extra bed. Free breakfast (from 7.00am - 10 am) with eggs, ham, sausage and toast, and serve yourself coffee and tea (free also). The staff (a women and a girl) can not speak English well, so you can not receive advices from them for traveling. But they always smile and help you others. The room is lovely and the same as picture.

Paiburee is lovely. ”
Pairburee is a lovely little place. Aom and Dao the ladies running it are really quite nice and helpful. The guest house was clean and comfortable, we really enjoyed the style. However, the bed was not comfortable. The bathroom was large and clean. Breakfast was the typical western style (eggs, toast, sausage, etc.) and was alright. All in all I would stay here again because the environment is really peaceful. The design of the cottage is fun and comfortable. The location is great- 10 minute walk into town.

Very nice stay in the beautiful place”
The "deluxe cottage" in reality was a very basic little house, but it had everything we needed: no noise, clean room, hot water, air conditioning, Wi-Fi. There was no other guests in the hotel and we liked it too. The breakfast was ok, we liked it. And we could use electric pot to make tea in the evening.

Clean cottage near the night bazaar”
It was a nice cottage, clean but felt a bit 'cold' as a lot of cement was used. I liked the close proximity to the night bazaar as it was rather late and dark when we were done shopping, we only had to walk about 5 minutes along the main street to return to Paiburee. Breakfast was cooked to order, there were 2 choices: Western breakfast and porridge. The western breakfast was filling and delicious, didn't get to try the porridge but it seemed good too. Stayers in the nearby cottage were rather inconsiderate, started making a din before 7am. It would be good if the operators remind them to keep their volume down so as not to disturb others.

Nice, clean backpacker budget hotel ”
Paiburee was an awesome and super affordable hotel in a quiet location, a 15 minute or less walk to the Pai Walking Street. The breakfast was served quickly after you sat down and the internet was fast and consistent. Great hotel for your money. Clean and good service.

Cottage style. ”
Lovely room in the garden. Felt like i just made booking in a resort, not a guesthouse. Will come back and stay longer. Nearby the guest house we found a Pai traditional restaurant of zBBQ and Hotpot (5 mins walking and on the right hand) really worth trying.

Best place to stay in pai! ”
This place is perfect to stay whilst you are in pai. The cottages are beautiful, comfy and quaint. The town is literally a 5 minute walk from the guest house and the lady running it is so lovely. Breakfast is eggs, ham, sausage and toast which I found was good. Such good value for money. Highly recommended.

Fantastic value for money”
We received a great deal online for this guesthouse and were not disappointed on arrival. The cottages are all within a cute and neat little garden. They were clean and spacious with extremely quick wifi reaching our cottage which was the furthest away from the reception area. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty pillows and blankets. We were also provided with towels which is always a bonus. Location was perfect, only two minutes walk from walking street which is centre of town, Pai which for us was a bonus because it meant a little more privacy and less noise. The gates were also closed at night for security but easily accessed by residents. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying and not much to grumble about. Would only mention that our sink tap broke meaning that we had to wash hands and brush teeth in the shower and our power was shut off by reception a couple of times as we forgot to turn off air con when we left the room, meaning that we had to walk back and forward to reception trying to explain to the lady who doesn't speak a great deal of English that we don't have power. The male worker speaks fantastic English and was very helpful and friendly. Thanks for a great stay.

Review for the River of Love @Pai”
This is the review for the River of Love @Pai Resort. I didn't stay at Paiburi Guesthouse since its office unfortunately was on fire a few days before I arrived to Pai. So I decided to take the offer from Agoda. The River of Love @ Pai has a beautiful view at its backyard (which I didn't get to see it from my room). The location was great-- couple minute walk from the night market and restaurants. The room itself was decent and great for its price. A bit dark though. Staff were OK. a bit shy to talk to guests but friendly. If you are looking for a decent room with acceptable price, here might be one of your choices.

Nice guesthouse but a bit overpriced”
Paiburee is quite close to the walking area (5 to 10 minutes on foot) and set in a quiet nice garden, where you can sit and relax. Our cottage was spacious, with tv, aircon (not needed), hairdryer, complimentary water. The bathroom was a little run down but clean, and so was the room (daily cleaning). The staff did not speak much English but they were very sweet and smiling and we were able to communicate anyway. The included breakfast was adequate. On the whole a positive experience, even if it is possible to find cheaper accommodation in Pai.
