      Quiet and relaxing”

This was our 4th stay at Paiviengfah Resort and we couldn't have been happier. My husband and I have been 3 times before and this time I brought my parents who were visiting from the states. Upon arrival we were upgraded to the cottage rooms which was a wonderful surprise. The rooms were big, clean, had great views, and very comfortable. The grounds are very well kept and quiet which makes for a great nights sleep. The location is about 1.5kms from Pai walking street but it's worth being away from the business of the area. The breakfast was okay, nothing spectacular but they had eggs, noodles, toast, juice, coffee, and a few other dishes to choose from. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this resort.

      Amazing Hotel”

Free wifi - High speed connection!

I had a great stay in this hotel. Although it's quite hard to find the location at first, but the owner did not mind to come out in the middle of the night then lead us to their hotel. The room is wonderful, the bathroom is nice. The location is very peaceful and we heard birds twitting every morning. The breakfast was just okay but we don't mind to get to town and eat again. The owner is a young, friendly, helpful man and he don't mind to post my clothes all the way to my country "Malaysia" which I left in the hotel room! Thank god. I hope he reads this comment :) Highly recommended to stay in Paiviengfah!

      Love the hotel sooooo much!”

We stay at paiviengfah for 4D3N and we are very satisfied with the hotel environment and it's cozy room as well. Love the natural view from hotel and swimming pool too. Breakfast was same every day, it was simple but delicious. Hotel not far from town, takes less than 5 min with motorbike. What surprising us is hotel even provide free shuttle service to town from morning ( forgot the time) till 10pm, make us feel more convenience esp during raining season. Overall it was lovely and valued for money. Highly recommend it if you plan to visit Pai.

Beautiful location on the outskirts of town”

Paiviengfah is great. Lovely pool and some beautiful rooms -- but be careful what room you choose as some of the rooms (the twins, apparently) are no where near as nice as the balcony rooms higher up. We stayed in three different rooms over a week and a half and the views of the mountains are stunning from the rooms that have balconies. Breakfast is pretty good and varied (Thai food and some cereal toast, plus coffee and juice, are served every day) but the quality is not as good as what you'll get in town at a cost of a couple of bucks (the excellent cheap food in town spoils you). Staff were helpful and generally friendly, but as with most places in Thailand the Thais generally have extremely limited English. Surprising given that most of the places we frequented are basically tourist towns full of customers whose common language is English. But we got by even with limited communication and there are some great apps like Google Translate if you want to be understood more clearly.

Comfortable and great value in beautiful area”

      Surroundings, staff, value

Paiviengfah is not a luxury resort, but it is very well kept and comfortable. Compared to other places in Pai, both more and less expensive, it's a terrific value. The staff is quite nice, although English skills are limited. (I speak Thai and my wife is Thai, so no problem). It's set way off the beaten path, which makes it beautiful, but you'll enjoy Pai more if you have transportation. The hotel provides transport to and from town. We definitely recommend the place. Opt for a upper level room rather than a private cottage.

      Love this place”

Our third stay! We need a stopover when driving up to Mae Hong Son, and eventually found this wonderful hotel. Good and safe car parking area. We book the upstairs room, and have always been in C-2. Stunning views in all directions. Far enough out of town to be out of the hustle and bustle, close enough for dining there. Hotel also does nice food for a reasonable price. They also offer a free, on demand shuttle in a comfy vehicle. Visit reception to activate the shuttle, and phone from town to be picked up. Pool is not warm and very little shaded area by the pool, but the upstairs rooms have a large veranda with sofa and chairs. Pai Viengfah is a very relaxing and comfortable place and we are already looking forward to returning next year.

charming property, colorful rooms, away from noise

It's a bit further away from the main downtown than I had expected, but that's fine because we had our own car that we drove from Chiang Mai, so it was a 1-min drive across the bridge north of town. It's actually nicer to be away from the touristy, crowded, and noisy part of Pai. Paiviengfah has three what looks to be houses. Since accommodations are relatively cheaper in Pai, we splurged and booked the top rooms with balconies. We didn't know the bathroom would be outdoors. It did get colder at night and in the early morning, but the hot water was dependable. And fortunately, we didn't have many bugs or mosquitoes, probably because of the colder weather. The room itself is simply and charming with a "green" theme. The bed was big and comfortable. We hung out at night on the big patio chair looking at the full moon and stars. Breakfast wasn't decent for a small place. They had a few Thai dishes, even porridge, plus fruits.

Magnificent view, beautiful rooms, super friendly staff

We are with friends and parents travelling in the North West of Thailand and came to Pai. We've browsed through the availability of hotels at Agoda and came to this very cosy pleasant small resort. The staff is very friendly and we became very nice, clean and cosy rooms. The next morning the sun came up and the view wad magnificent !! Breathtaking. Combined with a very good price makes this hotel the trip more then double worth.

Best is Pai for its price!”

The property sets in the middle of rice paddy and surounded by mountains. Very quiet (if you look for serenity and peace this property is perfect for you). It's about 1.5-2 km from walking street/bus station, where all the bars and restaurants located. You can reach the resort by walking or rent your own scooter or call the resort and they will pick you up..super convenient! The pool was great during a hot sunny day. Breakfast was very good, the combination of Asia and Western style. Staff were super nice and the room that I stay was very clean. Reccomended to everyone.

      Very beautiful and clean”

Resort is trully beautiful, garden and view are like in heaven. Rooms and pool (which is excelent) are always clean because cleaning ladies do their job regularely. Laundry service was not so good because few t-shirts got a new color. Also most of the personel are not so friendly and they do not know english almost at all, but they also did their job because we use regularely free shuttle service to the city, and when we was finished we call them and they picked up us in a 5 minute time in front of highschool in Pai. The food in restaurant is good and for breakfest you have very big choice and it is good. If we will be back we will choise again Pai Vieng fah resort.

Nice boutique resort with beautiful scenery ”

Amazing views, friendly staff, spacious bathroom

The hotel is located Outside of pai city though has easy access to the city with only a few min drive. Very peaceful and quiet from the night life pai got going on at night. The views of the resort and the mountains are amazing. Rooms are new and clean, though there were ants everywhere. We got upgraded to a superior which is on the upper floor giving us great views. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Wouldn't mind going back to this place again.

They have smiles to go with their hospitality!”

The helpless of the staff. Willingness to make sure accommodations were up to expectations. Location.

The stay was perfect. The lame reviews of it being far from town are exaggerated. They offer shuttle service to and from, 5-6mins. It's close to the river and has great views with breakfast everyday. Can't thank them enough for such an amazing stay. What do people expect for the price? I don't know but what they give is greater then the value elsewhere. If you want to party and be cheap go else where. This is tranquil and great for vacations. Would highly recommend staying here and will again if in Pai!

Lovely secluded resort just outside of Pai”

We had a great stay at this resort. Despite it being the dry season, the gardens were lush and full of flowers. The pool area is super private and quiet for a nice lie around. We would just recommend that they add a few more loung chairs for guests. We were surprised to be upgraded to a cottage and thoroughly enjoyed hanging out on the deck listening to the crickets at night and the birdsong in the mornings. The rooms are clean and the beds is one of the most comfortable we have come across in Thailand. The staff is friendly and they will shuttle you into town if you ask, otherwise it’s avout a 10-15 minute walk. We liked being just outside of town as you get to enjoy the countryside more. Included breakfast is pretty standard but filling. Would recommend!

5 Star resort with amazing views BUT......”

Fantastic boutique resort. Positives: Value (August 2020), amazing views, gardens and pool, staff, service, breakfast and location (but you will need a car). Negatives: Coffee at breakfast is 1 star, the bed is hard and not to the same standard with the rest of the resort AND toilet flushing system needs to be sorted. Otherwise, one of the very best we have stayed.

Comfortable, friendly and nice staff, great garden”

Nice staff, great garden and country view

Great staff, although a little bit far from the central walking street, but the staff can provide free transfer service. The hotel also has a great garden which can be used to take portrait photos. However, as the hotel is beside the mountain and farms, there were some small bugs in the room, but all in all, it is still valuable to stay.

great views, nice gardens, nice decorated room with huge verandah

the resort is set within the natural surrounding with paddy fields, hills, under the blue sky and very nice garden setting around, evy corner is a great snap for your camera, we were in heaven and all of us felt so reluctant to leave! the room is well decorated and up stair deluxe room with huge veranda that facing the paddy field is great for us to relax and enjoying the view. It's not located in the main street of pai but it doesnt matter since evy1 should hv get the cute scooter to travel around in pai.

Great place in Pai, will recommend any time.”

The nature surrounding the resort, the beautiful and well maintained garden and last the quietness

We stayed here for a weekend away from the city, Chiang Mai. If was very nice and we were allowed to bring our dog here. The resort surroundings are perfect and filled with nature, it's so relaxing and quiet to stay here. The rooms are nice, modern and clean and the view of the rice fields, mountains etc. is just awesome!

      WOW!!!! ”

All I can say is wow. This place is luxury in Pai. The pool was so refreshing, relaxing, and clean! The rooms are clean, well kept, and AC is a huge plus!! Especially with how hot it gets in the day! They picked up and dropped off from the bus station. I was a solo traveler but had a friend come with and split the beautiful room above the main lobby and he views were amazing especially for the price! This is a slice of heaven in Pai! Short 15min walk to the town! But scooters definitely are a bonus to have in Pai! :) Would highly recommend and would stay again!
