Great place to stay!”
We loved our stay at Pak Ping Rim-Khong. The location is perfect to enjoy everything Chiang Saen has to offer. It’s close to the night market, some of the best restaurants and coffee shops around, and it’s right next to the river. The rooms are very nice and spacious with a great private bathroom. They lent us bicycles to bike to the surrounding towns for free and have bananas available 24/7 at the front desk to snack on. If you want to see Chiang Saen and explore the area then this is the place to stay!

Nice people and convenient location”
My wife & I (both 60+) stayed here for five nights. The staff working here were very polite with great service. We had a normal room facing the road/ river and it was clean with good room service. Value for money is very good.

very clean hotel, however you can hear noise from outside quite loudly as it near the road. curtains do not block the sunlight as well so it is not ideal for those who cant sleep because of light. toilet is okay but there is no hair dryer. overall it is good but can be better. price is normal. breakfast is not too bad.

Family run Boutique Hotel next to the Mekhong River”
I stayed at many Hotels at this location and Pak Ping Rim Khong is definitely the best. Very clean, Friendly and helpful staff. Many good restaurants just opposite with beautiful river view.

Great staff and good value for money”
The hotel is located across the road from the river and about 1 km from where the bus from Chiang Rai arrives. The staff are very friendly and helpful (Lucky has very good English) and the rooms comfortable and well appointed for the price range. Breakfast (2 options) is served in a nice garden setting and is also rather generous for the price range. I would happily stay again

We enjoyed our stay at Pak Ping Rim Khong B&B because:- 1) The host is very friendly and welcoming. 2) It's value for money - spacious clean room & a good breakfast selection. 3) Nice little garden setting within the B&B. 4) It's near to the tourist sights.

You can choose Thai or ABF served outdoor in a nice garden. I always stay at this hotel when in Chiang Saen and never had anything to complain. Can highly recommend.

Good”
Stayed here for one night doing the Golden Triangle Loop. There were some minor issues with ants in the room, but the staff cleaned my room extra and also offered to change room. Lady at the front desk is very friendly and her english is very good. Chiang Saen is a small place so the location is excellent, also close to the river where at night the locals sit and have a sort of picknick to eat at local street stands. They sell very good fish. Rooms are big, shower is good and wifi is fine, also a very big breakfast including fruit.

a home by Mae Khong river”
a quiet B&B with a big clean room. Mae Khong river is just across the road. walking distance to market and historical places or only 20 baht for a tuktuk. recommend a long walk on the river bank and have dinner at local restaurants with a decent river view. The owner is super friendly. free seasonal fruit/ hot beverages and toast available all day. But there is not much choice for breakfast and the serving is quite small.

Home away from home”
We had a wonderful stay. Exceeded our expectations and a truly pleasant experience. Advertised as a bed and breakfast and performed better than the many hotels we stayed at over the last month. A bit of a walk to the market, but along the riverfront so not a problem at all. Host provided a map to the city, speaks excellent English, and gave us her phone number in case we needed any help while we were out. The maids do really respect your privacy, so if you are in the room all day they will not interrupt to clean or put new towels/toilet paper out. Simply ask and they'll go above and beyond.

Doesn't get a lot better than this for the money”
Spacious, very clean room. About 1km from the centre of town so fairly quiet. Restaurants immediately opposite overlooking the river (but I'd recommend the Friendship restaurant almost next door on the same side of the road which was friendlier and had better food). The 'room only' breakfast is excellent with great fruit, toast and tea/coffee. The real asset of this place though is the woman on reception. Always a huge smile and a chat. Incredibly friendly and helpful (speaks perfect english). We stayed an extra night as we liked it so much. Good mountain bicycles for rent next door at 100 baht a day. There was a occasionally a mild sewage smell in the bathroom but that's not unusual in this part of the world.

This family run hotel is a delight to stay in. The rooms are clean, large, well equipped and well maintained and offer excellent value for money. Good WiFi speeds. The included breakfast is very generous and served in a delightful garden setting. The staff are friendly and polite at every exchange. Hard to find any faults at all - a pleasure to stay in.

A lovely and pleasant place. Very comfortable. Very warm and welcoming host who speaks good English. Nice, spacious rooms. Breakfast served was simple but sufficient. We had the choice of porridge or American Breakfast. The only downside was the location of the place which is a little quiet at night. However, food stalls can be found across the road or just 5 mins walk, down the road.

Nice place with decent size room and bathroom, very clean and american breakfast in the morning. Had room 5 first floor facing the street. there is a karaoke across the street that kept me awake long time, in Chiang Mai the noise stops at midnight but here it kept on till after 1 o'clock. I know the owners can not be faulted for this but next time I go elsewhere.

The person who checked me in was great! She had very good English, answered all of my questions, gave me a map of the town, she was very helpful. The room was great. Comfortable bed, and very clean. Would stay here again.
