this place was really terrible
there wasn't one thing, not anything , at all
firstly i requested airport pickup and they didn't show which being my first time in Nepal I needed. so i called them and they said they were not coming to pick me up. So then having to get a taxi I was overcharged, the taxi driver asked for $15 when it should have been about $4. One reason to book this was its apparent close proximity to the airport but in fact its not the case at all. this already left a bad impression and on arrival they seemed unconcerned about this. the room was terrible and had an odour about it. the sheets were filthy and mosquitoes kept me awake most of the night. I really have no idea how this place has such a good rating. this was the primary reason to stay here along with its so call close proximity to the airport. I would not recommend this place at all it was false advertising from the start.

Basic but clean, great location near the stupa.
Location, price, stupa
The room was basic but clean, good value for money. It is in a great location, right near the big stupa.

pleasant stay in Boudha
location, staff, neighbourhood
The guest house was located in Boudha, which is much less crowded and somewhat less touristy than Thamel. It's an interesting area to stay, with many Buddhist monasteries and restaurants nearby. There is still a lot of noise early in the morning from about 6am when people go to the pagoda, but I found early mornings noisy when staying in other cities. The guest house was able to arrange onward transportation for me, too.

Basic and Comfortable
Close to Boudhanath, fast internet, close to restaurants
I chose this guest house because it's near the Boudhanath. I was able to witness night prayer and early morning prayer around the stupa. There are a lot of choices for restaurants and shopping near the guesthouse. Hot water and wifi is available 24/7. It's a bit difficult to find the guesthouse but the driver called them to ask for directions.

Loved this Hotel
Close to Stupa, attached to monastery, nice staff
When you enter the stupa turn right and walk against traffic for 1/3 way around until you get to the road diverging off straight ahead (Paradise roof-top restaurant on the corner). Keep walking straight past many shops for 1 minute until you reach a cattle guard at an intersection. PRK Hotel is to your right with the blue windows. Nobody can tell you where Pal Rabten Khangsar Guest House is because it's really called PRK Hotel.

Clean, basic, no-nonsense room w solid constructio
Clean, good location, accommodating staff
I really think this is one of the best places I stayed at during my trip to Nepal. Ideallu located relative to stupa and surrounding shops/restaurants in Boudha, and I would return here should I ever revisit.
