Bad, Bad, Bad
We knew the location is not in the town. That's okay, The hot springs is mediocre. But there is spots on the sheets and toilet. The worst is that the staffs lied to us that there was no bus and no shop opening in the town, and tried to persuade us to stay in the hotel for dinner. We didn't listen to them. We took a bus and had a good dinner in the town and went supermarket.

Friendly staff. Bus stops just infront. Close to attractions. Big rooms. Nice facilities.
Old hotel but it's charming. View of Mount Fuji on a clear day. Lake view room, not much view of lake as the building is not very tall. But it's ok. Enjoyed the onsen. Food is expensive in the hotel but there's convenience stores few bus stop down. Close to the Togendai cruise and rope way. Good for sightseeing. Staff are friendly and manager speaks good English! Will stay again!

On-site Onsen!
Having an onsen on-site is very convenient. The hotel itself is a bit dated and could use some upgrades & new decorations in the rooms, but the rooms are large and comfortable. The staff was VERY helpful and the Japanese restaurant was excellent. We had shabu shabu - delicious. There is a bus directly in front of the hotel which made travel easy.
