One of the most well-known hotels in Ho Chi Minh, the Palace Hotel Saigon has long been a favorite with locals and visitors alike. The hotel is situated on the popular Nguyen Hue Boulevard in the heart of the city, only a 15-minute drive from the airport. Visit the nearby Ben Thanh market and Notre Dame Cathedral as well as the tunnels dug during the Vietnam War, Cu Chi Tunnels. Another attraction, also situated within close proximity to the hotel, is the Mekong delta. After a long day exploring the city in the sweltering heat, take a dip in the hotel’s rooftop pool, lounge around the pool bar, and enjoy a drink or two. The hotel also houses a conference center for corporate travelers. Most of the luxuriously decorated guestrooms come with a private balcony overlooking the beautiful city. Our secure online booking form makes reserving your room at Palace Hotel Saigon simple - just fill in your desired dates and click.

Great location and good service”
We stayed in this hotel on two occasions i.e 12 Mar 2012 and 15 Mar 2012 to 17 Mar 2012. I would like to commend that the staff were courteous, friendly and able to converse in English. The porters were helpful and the service was good. We had requested for quiet room while booking through agoda and the hotel staff did allocated quiet rooms for us. our room number was 801 on the first night and 214 on subsequent nights. These two rooms were away from the busy street. The minor setbacks were the window of 801 facing aircon unit and 214 is facing a garden. Both the beds and air-cons were of acceptable standard. Wi-fi service was free. There is a restaurant at level 5 serving buffet at reasonable price. There were great variaty of food and we enjoyed our dinner over there. There is also another more high-class restaurant at the top floor which offer you great city and river view. The hotel is situated at the central location in District 1 where you can walk to most of the tourist attractions in Ho Chi Minh City. For those unfamiliar with HCMC, there is no harm tring this hotel.
Our Stay at the Palace Hotel from 15-18 July 2009”
We find our stay at the Palace Hotel a pleasant experience. While some of the front personnel were most merely very helpful, despite our language difference. Your doorman and bellboys, were ready and sicere in offering assistance, including providing tips in the use of room amenities, without waiting to be given tips. Your tour desk staff are very helpful too, they gave us a female tour guide who have the patience and knowledge of the historical and tourist spots information of the country. We learned more about the country. The hotel was very accessible to Ben than, where we enjoy shopping. We went there just walking. In fact we have recommended already the hotel to our friend in Manila, who intend to travel to Vietnam, that if they go to Ho Chi Minh City to stay in Palace.
Very nice hotel with great service”
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Palace Hotel Saigon. We stayed for 3 nights and had no problems with the room or the staff. The staff were welcoming and helpful. They offer free Internet however there is only 1 computer. We were close to a great supermarket and loved the restaurant upstairs (a little more pricey than street food but absolutely delicious!). We would definitely stay here again if we returned to Ho Chi Minh.
Great Hotel, Great Location, Great Food”
The Palace Hotel had everything you need for a great stay in Ho Chi Minh City. Very Clean, great service, the good in the restaurants was very nice and there was a good selection. All of your tours and transfers can be organised from the lobby all at very reasonable prices. Highly Recommended especially if this is your first visit.
Fantastic location in downtown Saigon”
This is one of the two 4-star hotels that have the best location in Ho Chi Minh City. You are a walking distance from all major touristic hot spots, shopping areas, restaurants, bars and the river. Do not get put off by the initial old-fashioned look of the interior. This is Vietnam; and the fixtures are not worn out, just a bit old-fashioned. They maintain it perfectly and everything is clean. What the hotel lacks in looks is compensated by very professional, helpful, and friendly staff. There is a nice swimming pool on the top floor, which is not Olympic size, but is very cleverly designed and has a great view of the city. Spotless clean. All in all -- very good value for money.
Great location and service, pity about the noise”
We were staying for one night prior to an early international flight the following day. Or booked room was compact, but had good wi-fi and was comfortable enough. Unfortunately we were disturbed by the noise (mainly vibration) from the nightclub in the hotel below us, and drilling from the building site next door! All it took was one call, and we were moved to a large suite on a much higher floor, so I have no complaints on how this issue was resolved. I picked this hotel for the District 1 location, and the Palace truly is in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City.
Nice hotel with a reasonable price at the best location.”
My first Agoda booking for a hotel in Ho Chi Minh city. The hotel room is comfortable, clean and quiet because taking up a room without balcony facing back of the building. The staff there is helpful taking care every request you needed. My room comes with a buffet breakfast which I feel was excellent with a variety of selections and taste nice. The only downside was the swimming pool which close at 6pm. Wanted to have a splash after my dinner but found out was closed. Highly recommended for its strategic location & value for money for the room with a sumptuous breakfast for two.
homelike atomosphere, ”
I booked "Palace Suite Balcony" room. The room is good, homelike atomosphere. If there is one thing to say, internet speed is slow and disconnected once in a while. But I don't mind too much. The building is old, but the room is nice, clean and have been renovated. When I will stay in Ho Chi Minh City next time, I am going to book this hotel again.
Wonderful experience, extremely affordable Suite”
My wife and I decided to have a night "away" and checked into a Palace Signature Suite of the Palace Hotel Saigon. The room was a corner unit split into a living room and a bedroom. It had a small corner balcony and view of Nguyen Hue street, the Bitexco tower and a sliver of the Saigon River. A highlight of the room was the bathroom, that stretched the length of the living room and bedroom and included a small jacuzzi - something not found in other suites in this price range - bubble soap and view onto Nguyen Hue street through tinted windows included. Staff was extremely friendly. For example, they brought us two wine glasses within 2 minutes of our request. They even thought so far ahead and included a bottle opener despite not asking for one. We slept through breakfast, so I can't comment on the quality of the food, but breakfast was included. However, given its great location, there are many options - expensive and local - to get some food or simply a coffee. The best part was the price. We were able to get the Suite for about USD 112 (non-refundable) on Agoda, which was on par with standard rooms at the other 4-star+ hotels in the area, and far below the rates for their suites.
value for money”
We were very happy with the rooms, nice big bathroom and great view from our balcony i enjoyed watching the traffic.(amazed me) The breakfast was brilliant and the seafood buffet was great value. We are planning our next trip back to Ho Chi Minh City and we will booking another stay at the palace Hotel
Palace Hotel Saigon”
The room the I got was their suite. One queen bed plus one single bed. It had a lot of space and the room was very clean. The service was great and the buffet breakfast was very good. I would definitely go back to the Palace Hotel in Saigon on my next visit to Ho Chi Minh.
Awesome place to stay in sunny Saigon”
i think i will always stay in palace whenever i go to ho chi minh city. they upgraded my room to presidential suite and it's so luxurious. spacious bedroom, big bed, terrace overlooking bitexco tower, big fancy bathroom. it's near every cool restaurant, shopping center and bar in district 1.
From Singapore to Saigon”
Hotel is located right in the middle of the busiest part of Ho Chih Minh City- District 1. without much sweat, we can walk to all tourist attraction Like the French style Old Post office, the famous Norte Dame Church , the War Rememberance Muzeum , the park and riverside. Shopping can be easily reached day and night , where Benh Tanh market is ten minutes away. The latest and biggest mall in town is just two street away. souvenior shops and local produce including craft can be access every corner around the hotel. Interesting restaurant can be reached in minutes. Local famous beef noodles restaurant Pho 24 are also a couple of minutes walk, not forgetting the famous Vietnamese coffee outlet.
Great room, amazing location, we'll stay again”
we stayed in the palace suite which was lovely. really spacious, well maintained and spotlessly clean. it was a great choice as we could come in at any time of the day/night and enjoy our airconditioned room and a quiet timeout. the view from our balcony was nice enough too and as we had a room on the higher floors, we were'nt aware of any noise until we opened our balcony door. breakfast was generous in quantity and a good variety of international food in the buffet. staff were pleasant and courteous but not proactive - you will have to ask if your table has been laid without salt and pepper or napkins etc or if the coffee/tea has run out. this isnt a big thing but something you'll notice if you're used to more proactive service from wait staff. otherwise no complaints about breakfast. concierge staff were fantastic - always smiling, helpful and made us feel welcome no matter how many times we left and reentered the hotel. all in all, we couldnt recommend this hotel highly enough. yes, we've stayed in more luxurious hotels in asia, but we found the palace suited our needs for our 10 day stay in ho chi min perfectly. we'll definitely stay here the next time we visit vietnam.
Excellent value for money and good service”
Given the price (I suppose things are cheaper in Ho Chi Minh City in general), it was perfectly adequate and exceeded my expectations. While not the most modern looking hotel, the staff were very attentive and of a standard far above the star rating of the hotel. Everything was clean and functioning well. Great location and overall a very satisfying stay. Top value for the price.
Palace hotel saigon”
The manager at the time, was very understanding and showed us many rooms before we decided which was the best for us.We chose the palace suite (the best room in the hotel) and were only asked to pay an upgrade fee of The room was great with a separate living room, king bedroom with balcony overlooking the city and river, and huge bathroom with spa bath, large shower and double sinks. There was also a closet and safe making the room very homely. The bathroom was nicely finished with mosaic tiles. The toilet was a little hard to flush at times, but a very minor problem not even worth mentioning. The room was furnisehd with 2 a/c units,2 tvs, a lounge, desk and separate bedrrom. This was great for us, as my husband got to retreat behind closed doors when he needed to work on the laptop, and I could watch tv in bed. There was a balcony off the bedroom, from which you could see the main street and towards the river. Most of the noise was kept out at night though, allowing for a good rest with the blackout blinds. The hotel was extremely central in district 1.We could walk to sights, the river, and many restaurants and shopping areas. The only time we caught taxis, was to the airport, The free wifi was also a bonus, and free buffet breakfast was decent enough. the nice staff behind the counter negotiated with us, and gave us an extra 3 nights close to the rate we paid online, so we were very happy.Overall the staff were nice and tried to help where possible. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. It is one of the most central hotels in the district and comes with a good price tag attache
Convenient hotel with acceptable service quality”
our first stay in palace hotel, ho chi minh. it was an interesting experience with all docoration for chinese new year just in front of the hotel's main road. lot of crown along the hotel's street but the hotel intenal was not ruined by the crown. breakfast was served well at 5th floor. the room quality was acceptable with wifi connection on every storey. the final say is that the location is well situated at the most central spot of ho chi ming city for all your convenient with acceptable rates.
Good but not perfect”
At first they upgraded my reserved room to their better room. And that's good. At the reception desk, It looked like they respect foreigners than local people (We're couple from local city) After checked in the room, I couldn't do any works 'cause there was no Internet connection in my room. The signal was too weak to connect. I asked the front desk the day after and get their answer: all around hotels experienced the same internet condition. Although in that period of time Ho Chi Minh city had problem with internet connection due to broken internet cable in the sea, but the hotel didn't have backup plan for internet connection. And It was serious problem for me.
An austere front hides a lovely hotel”
The initial impression is a austere with little colour only bench seats and cushions for seating, but the receptionist was most helpful and welcomed us with a warm smile, check in was very efficient and quick. Our suite was quite a surprise, a large lounge room and a large bed room with king sized bed looking out onto a narrow balcony with city views. The bathroom had a small spa bath, shower cubicle, toilet and a bench with 2 hand basins and a large mirror. Plenty of soap, shampoo and bubble bath supplied. Breakfast is in a large room almost hidden from sight, it is very modern and well appointed with a good range of Western & Asian food. We enjoyed our stay at the Palace Hotel and will stay there again the next time we visit Ho Chi Minh
Very very central 3 star hotel”
Looking for a central location in HCMC? The Palace hotel offers clean and spacious rooms. Our room was fine, nothing special, it had been renovated simply and functioned ok. There is free wifi only in the upper rooms which could be great. I had to sit in the stairway :-(. The beds were not extremely comfy, but overall the room was ok for the price. Breakfast is served on the 5th floor in the old wing, and is brilliant. The hotel location is very very central, it's around the corner from the Sheraton, Caravelle, Rex and is central to the shopping district. It's also safe to walk around this area any time of the day, and the sights are interesting. Apparently this is one of the first hotels in the city with the above mentioned. There is a restraunt in the building, but we ate out for lunch and dinner except the evening with the "all you can eat seafood".
