One of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. The setting, location, decor and service: A+”
Lovely in every way. I particularly appreciated this hotel for what it WASN’T...so tired of high-end hotels that lack originality of design and decor. The Palace Hotel was infused with fresh interiors, soft spring-colored palette...sophisticated, warm and inviting. No cookie-cutter beige, tan and granite sleekness here. The location, attentive service (we adored the young man who assisted with our luggage, nicknamed K! the kindest of persons, a gentleman through and through)...cuisine and amenities were all top-notch. I could not have wanted anything more! It is a gem of a hotel! We will return!

Exceptional”
The Palace Hotel was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect and the service was outstanding. Our corner junior suite had a large balcony over looking the Imperial Palace and the gardens. The concierge lounge had wonderful food and a great view. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

Superb!”
This is an amazing hotel in a great position, 10 minutes walk to Tokyo Station, a few minutes to the East Imperial Palace garden and 12 minutes walk from the Sky hop on hop off sightseeing bus. We had a deluxe room with balcony and a view toward the Imperial Palace, we have stayed in a lot of hotels and this was without doubt the best room we’ve ever had. There service and attention to detail throughout was impeccable. The only criticism is that the hotel‘s restaurants are very expensive (some ridiculously so) and so we ate out but there are plenty of places nearby. High prices in 4* and above hotel restaurants in Japan seem common for some reason. We had breakfast included and it was an excellent buffet and they will cook eggs for you in a variety of ways.

Exceeded expectations”
The hotel, the room, the seamless service, and quality of food served at room service were superb and very luxurious. The corner deluxe room we were upgraded to was very spacious, had fantastic views of the park and the imperial east gardens, and was full of small, thoughtful touches (like a selection of cords for the guests’ devices) and a Japanese tea set. The only downside is that cable tv is not offered, so only local Japanese language channels were available. Nonetheless, with a hotel like that, who needs tv? I can only wish I had stayed longer!

Always want to come back.”
Rooms with a balcony are absolutely beautiful with an excellent view. Occasionally you can hear sirens and engine noises from the traffic on the street, but we're overlooking the entrance to the palace and the main streets outside of it so we are not complaining.

Toü quality in the business disstrict”
The hotel is top quality, there is nothing to nag about. Among the amenities, I liked the Nespresso available in the room. We had a corner room with a superb view onto the imperial garden and palace. But it has its price...

Outstanding Service and Accomodations”
This is a wonderful five star hotel located across from the Imperial Palace, close to Tokyo station, and near several underground arcades (malls) full on wonderful retail shops and eating places. It is also in the heart of the business section. The rooms are large, comfortable, and contain every conceivable need for a pleasant, relaxing stay. The staff is excellent, often anticipating our needs before we said anything and willing to accommodate every need. I had one small business concern getting a document to be signed, scanned, and emailed, which was accomplished for me without charge and expeditiously. This request, and every one we made, was completed graciously and then followed up on the next day to make sure it had been satisfied. Only issue was that we were unable to get reservations at the restaurants and the room service menu was rather sparse. We like to dine late in the Italian style, but apparently here and everywhere in Japan that is not the custom. Most restaurants close at 10 pm. But I would not consider staying anywhere else in Tokyo. The Palace is a great hotel. If I worked in Tokyo I would want to live there.

Dream stay in Tokyo”
This was my first time at the Palace Hotel Tokyo and it was fantastic. I Usually stay in Shinjujku or Shinagawa to be near the train hubs, but from now on will be staying at the Palace. The hotel has everything you need. The gym is incredible and a must do. The restaurants are also top caliber, if a bit hard to get into due to the popularity. While the train station might be a few blocks walk, it also opens you up to whole world of different restaurants and shops. This room was fantastic. I had an incredible view of the Palace and the room was loaded with space. The shower and bath were both top notch and it was hard to force yourself out of that tub it was so comfortable to soak in after a long day of walking around Tokyo. The staff was efficient and on their game. They were very accommodating to a non Japanese speaking guest and I appreciated that.

Nice hotel with a great service ”
I was here two times - four days when I arrived and three days when I was back again to catch a flight home. This hotel has a friendly and efficient staff. Overall, the rooms and bathrooms were clean. The carpets needed a good stain remover and shampooing and the bathroom, although clean, had stains due to guest damage. Would I stay here again? More than likely, yes, because no hotel is perfect and during my trip I stayed at different ones and they each had their own flaws. This hotel is located in a beautiful area. Do take a walk and circle the outside of the imperial palace - takes about 2 hours if you make frequent stops, take photos and take time to relax. The hotel is about a 12 minute walk to the Tokyo station and when it rains, you have access to it through the hotel or you can take a taxi - about $6. The rooms with balconies have nice views if you're planning to spend time at your hotel. They also have a nice cocktail lounge. I didn't try it because I was traveling solo.

Just as great second visit”
Second visit and again found great room, great service staff, friendly and helpful reception and concierge. Great views of the city and the imperial parks. I like this hotel so much that I almost hate to mention this -- at no charge reception printed out and made a pdf of a legal document I had to send to the US, but later in my visit I was charged for using the business center when I printed a 6 page document. But that in no way affects my review. This is the best hotel I have found in Tokyo and I would not consider staying anywhere else whether as a tourist (right on the subway lines and just one stop to Tokyo Station -- although I took a taxi because of luggage), or for business (great place to do business, including getting work done and business meetings). If there was a rating above 5-star, this hotel would be the standard.

The Palace Hotel Tokyo is the Place to Stay”
We enjoyed our stay at the Palace Hotel Tokyo very much...it was one of the highlights of our Japan tour. The staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. The public spaces were beautiful and our room was very large with a great view. We enjoyed lunch and breakfast in the first floor restaurant which was much better than a typical hotel restaurant. Highly recommended.

Great location, good food, excellent service, and amazing rooms and views! If we ever return to Japan, we will most definitely stay at this hotel.
