OUT OF THE WAY BUT CLOSE TO EVERYTHING”
Without batting an eyelash, Paladin tries and succeeds in approximating the hospitality enjoyed by Baguio visitors decades ago, long before the city deteriorated into a crass and congested destination. Being treated courteously and well by hotel staff in Baguio is now seldom heard about, except if one pays big money in five star accommodations. If only for the genuinely warm treatment, the price one pays for lodging at Paladin suddenly becomes reasonable. The thougtful amenities are also worth raving about. For a hotel of this modest stature, one gets complimentary bottled water, slippers, bathroom supplies and use of a personal in-room vault. The long ascent by steep stairs to the receiving area is a challenge to PWDs and certainly, to elderly guests. There is no other recourse for the receiving staff but to make sure they are polite and ready with smiles if only to soothe tired legs and frayed nerves brought about by that huff and puff climb. If only they could hasten check in procedures and not subject guests to an interminable wait as so many things had to be written down. Surely there is a more efficient, even automated way to give out breakfast coupons and get data from registering guests without making them wait in line too long. They need to rest from the long trip, or that staircase challenge.
Our stay was very good! The help and assistance of their staffs particularly Ms. Christine made our 4d/3n stay more enjoyable and easy. Paladin Hotel was located at the center of Baguio City where all major fast food chains, Burnham Park and Baguio night market was just a walking distance. We don't even bring our car to any target tourist destinations. Taxi are so affordable also. Kudos Paladin Hotel. Thank you. We will be back again.
A Great New Year Stay”
Paladin location were superb as it was very near to Burnham park, Session road, SM Baguio and Good Taste restaurant - all of these are walking distance only. Plated breakfast was good enough to last you until lunchtime. They provided an extra bed and linens to our extra person. Towels are clean and everyday replenishing of toiletries are a plus points. Lastly, they have given us a 2 complimentary 45 minute massage. Room is very clean. Con's : they have extra fee for an early check-in despite of us having a senior citizen in our group. Also, this hotel has no elevator though we were given a room in a lower floor. But overall, we had a great time in our stay and I could still recommend this hotel to my friends who are looking for a cheap and value for money place in baguio city due to it's location.
Wonderful and relaxing”
We had a wonderful stay at Paladin Hotel. We'll definitely come back for another stay. My only request if there's going to be a next time is to please give us a room with big windows for a better ventilation. In our recent stay we were assigned at room 107. It has a small window which made the room a little warm and less ventilated. Cant feel the Baguio climate inside the room and with no view. But other than that our stay at Paladin Hotel was superb!
Very accomodating yung mga staff and always naka smile, nakaka good vibes. Halatang old na yung building but it doesn't matter kasi napaka ganda sa loob hindi halatang luma kasi naalagaan. Our room is nice too, good for only 2 persons. Super thumbs up sa heater! About naman sa breakfast okay naman. Sana lang sa mga other customers with kids, please tell them to observe silence lalo na hindi sound proof yung mga rooms. But all in all, our stay @Paladin Hotel is quiet amazing! I will stay here again when we go back at Baguio 😊👍 Thank you!!
Paladin Hotel is Excellent”
I just love staying here whenever I am in Baguio because its location is very strategic, near Burnham Park and Session Road, walking distance even up to SM Baguio. The staff are very courteous and friendly. The rooms are clean and the bath is well-equipped with hot water for a relaxing bath. I also love their 30-minute complimentary whole body massage. Paladin Hotel is tops!
The Hotel Got Better”
It was my second time to check in at the Paladin Hotel. The first time was in 2008 with my officemates and the second one was just last weekend. I could say that there was an improvement in the hotel service. Before, my officemates and I were struggling taking a bath since the hot shower was not working. We were chilling. But last week, the room we checked in was better. The hot shower is working at a tepid level only. The staffs were really accommodating. We even had a welcome fresh banana unlike my first time. The room is clean and the location is good. The breakfast was already included, so the time we went out of the hotel, at least we don't need to worry thinking where to dine. The sad part is that we were unable to redeem our 1 free body massage since the schedule was already full. Well, given another opportunity, I'll get the chance to check in again at the Paladin Hotel.
"The most hassle-free, convenient vacation so far"”
Our baguio trip was not planned. My children and me were just having our usual talk when my son recommended for the family to go up baguio. My son surfed the net and got a reservation in an hour, thanks to agoda. Paladin is a decent hotel with a very warm staff which makes them world class in service. The place is so strategically located to all the best locations.
Great Value for Money”
The staff was great and the location suited us perfectly. The hotel is near Burnham Park, Café by the Ruins and the Public Market, 3 of the locations we planned to visit. Breakfast was provided so we didn't have to worry about our morning meals. We will stay at Paladin again when we return to Baguio.
Value for Money”
Paladin Hotel offers great value for money. Their staff is always accommodating, free breakfast is pretty good (typically Filipino unless otherwise requested; 1 viand with unli rice/pancit/coffee), and it's just probably 100m or so from Burnham Park. As others mentioned, the hotel doesn't have an elevator, but my request to get a room on the lower floor was easily accommodated. They have free luggage storage, and they're nice enough to let us stay on the 3rd floor lounge while passing time (since our bus departs at night). Room cleaning is completed by request, and when done, items (water and probably also coffee/creamer/sugar) in the room are replenished.

many areas to improve on but overall great hotel”
Pros: - location is superb. Very near burnham park and local restos such as good taste - reception and staff were really professional and friendly. They are the star of this hotel. - free hotel breakfast. - free complimentary massage (did not expect this). Massage was really good as well for 45mins. Thank you to the two ladies there! - clean, up to date rooms - nice cable tv and free wifi Cons: - security is quite not good. There were 2-3 occassions where we entered the hotel where the security guard was not in sight. - breakfast not that tasty and can still be improved. - room is nice but we dislike the bathroom. The lavatory is always clogged and we just let the water subside after a few mins. - the flush on the toilet sometimes goes stuck. - shower room is quite small. My body size is quite small and sometimes i still find it hard to shower without me hitting the wall. Overall Paladin is a great hotel for the price.
The place was very accessible to various destinations famous in Baguio. You can even just walk going to Burnham Park. We even made it to SM Baguio with just walking. The employees are very nice and accomodating. We arrived too early so we requested an early check in. At first, they said that there are no available rooms yet. However, after a few, they told us we can already check-in. That was 6AM, December 31 (considering the holidays). The room is nice and cozy. The attendants are very fast. The breakfast is also good. They give free massage (though only for 1 so I didn't avail of it) to guests. The area is very near establiahments (Good Taste Restaurant). It's very easy to get a cab ride. All in all, very good.
Central location, small rooms, very cheap”
We used this very basic hotel just to sleep before our long journey to climb Mt. Pulag in Benguet (6 hours from Baguio City). The room was very small -- the bed was literally by the window. It was comfortable, though. No frills. The bathroom was small but clean, with a separate shower. No air conditioning (not that you need it in this chilly city). Free breakfast was okay -- rice, egg, and choice of hotdog/tocino/tapa. Free brewed coffee and juice. Service was friendly. All in all, great for the price.
Staff are very attentive.”
all staff are friendly and hospitable. they promptly attended to our requests. they even called me while i was away in the hotel that they needed to transfer me to other room (not the room that i requested) due to some reasons. i appreciate the effort. i will definitely choose paladin hotel when i will go back in baguio!
our stay in Paladin Hotel was generally good and comfortable. The parking area was safe and seems to be secure. The staff were very friendly and attentive to us. We will surely recommend this hotel to our relatives and friends. And when we visit Baguio again we will surely choose this hotel.
Walking distance from few tourist's destination but theres always a cab passing by in front if you want to go to other places. Room is clean, I booked a room with Window but was given one without none. They're differently priced when I booked. Free breakfast isn't a buffet. Just unli rice and pancit plus a choice of a viant + 1 serve of scramble egg. Buffet breakfast at Eurotel is better or maybe other similar priced hotel. The staff are nice. NO Smoking area/rooms. since smoking in Public places is not allowed in Baguio. If you smoke, find a hotel with a veranda or a smoking area or at least one with a compound. Wifi is slow.
Nice place for a very good price”
the place is so nice and the good thing about it is its just a walk away to burnham park and all the delectable restaurants along session road in baguio. the hotel staff are so inviting with their smile. the room might be small but its enough for me and my partner...it still so relaxing to stay in our rooms and to sleep in our soft bed. i will surely book again to this hotel on my next stay in baguio.
Our stay at the Paladin was excellent. The room, while small, was clean and readily available when we got there. There were 3 of us, and we didn't have to wait or haggle about the extra bed - it was already there. We don't like to use the room service to clean up our room, but, when we requested items they were very efficient in bringing them to our room. My only comment, which is more of a criticism, than complaint, is that this hotel is really not suitable for those with disabilities. The entrance has a long stairway up to the front desk and, unless there is another access for the handicap, it would be extremely difficult for a person with a disability to enter the hotel. The facility was clean and nice and presented good, being one of the oldest hotels there. All local town tourist sites, as well as restaurants and stores, are well within walking distance, especially the park. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and will definitely stay there again. Also, the price, while not inexpensive, it is reasonable and worth that extra dollar (or peso).
we arrived at 2pm, they gave us the deluxe room with twin bed but i booked the deluxe room with large bed, BUT they change it right away to premier room which is higher price than our booked room, WITHOUT ANY CHARGE (thank you for your kindness). The heater is functioning. Linens, blankets and bed were comfortable. Wifi connection up to 76mbps. Staffs was soooo accommodating and courteous, and soft spoken. The breakfast was satisfying to start the day (unlimited rice and pansit with ulam of choice plus egg). The massage was very relaxing (thank you to Ms. Marie) The location is very accessible to Burnham park, Good taste, just across a Korean Restaurant, Cafe by the ruins, Session road, Night market, Baguio Cathedral, Public Market.
Courteous and friendly staff, clean and spacious room, hotel is accessible to parks, church, market, malls and retaurants. Complementary breakfast and massage are pleasant as well. ”
It is our second stay at Paladin Hotel and we are sure to book with them again when we return to Baguio. We are very much satisfied with our experience there.
