Exceptional”
It is hard to write a review that matches how much we loved this place! 1. The nature surrounding the bungalows is just stunning. You are in the middle of rice fields with farmers, cows and waterbuffalows which make for a very authentic and refreshing atmosphere. 2. The bungalows itself are super super clean and luxurious with a big bathroom, rain shower etc. Also the beds were one of the most comfortable ones of our months of traveling through Asia. And they have a pool aswell which is realy cool with the view it provides! 3. Most importantly the people who own the place. It is a super super friendly and kind young family that make you feel at home realy. I think I have never seen them not smile, it was realy heartwarming to see how they live life basically. They always helped us with everything we wanted to know and how to do things, the guy even led me his scooter for a evening for free. Also they both cook great food and the breakfast included was amazing! You have got to check this place out! Thank you for everything! Sam&Lucy

The most perfect stay with the most perfect family! We couldn’t of wished for a better stay, the room was perfect - so clean, spacious and the private balcony made it feel that extra special! The pool was amazing and the views from your balcony and the pool area are incredible! There are no words good enough to describe the family who run this property. They are so kind, caring and extremely generous. Every morning they seem so happy to see you and every evening they ask how your day has been. Upon our departure we were kindly escorted up to the bus stop by the family but unfortunately, by accident, missed our bus. The next bus wasn’t due for another 12-14 hours and the family let us stay with them and have our room back for the day with no charge! They offered us lunch with their family too with no charge and again walked with us to the bus stop later that evening to make sure we were safe and to wish us goodbye. Just perfect all round.

I've booked 3 rooms for Quảng Bình Marathon. + Location: green, nature, peaceful, 5km to centre, car parking. + Bed & WC: large & clean + People: the owner was a young family with 2 cute kids. They was helpful, very good at cooking, super friendly, feel like family. Quảng Bình people are wonderful. + Meal: Breakfast (incld.): banh mi, noodles, other demands Dinner/Lunch: we only booked dinner ($3/pax) because of our late arrival. The meal was exceptional good and HEARTY. The owner prepared and cooked with fresh local material from morning market. We loved that they noticed tiny details like my accent (North or South) via phone to custom as the our tastes. We have 2 more marvelous meals here. #Storybehind: they (Quảng Bình people) just suffered the historic flood last year, you'll see the water level marked at a pillar in the dining area. Not only being touched by their situation, but also appreciating their outstanding hospitality, this is definitely my single choice at Quảng Bình.

We absolutely loved our stay. This place is serene with views of sunrise and sunsets, a refreshing dip in the cool is a treat. The family is so thoughtful with amenities,arrangement for books and will even pick you up when you arrive. They have scooters delivered to the hotel for us. Breakfast is delicious and portions are very generous. Grounds are immaculate. Our room had a fridge and seriously the best bed I have seen it Vietnam. Pillow top queen size bed has me curling up and sleeping in a little longer. Beers and restaurant is super inexpensive. The ride to town is about 4 km, they have free bicycles for guests to enjoy the countryside drive. Caring staff speak English well and are happy to accommodate guests needs. Truly the best accommodations yet while touring vietnam.

Cool and chill bungalow”
This farmstay is awesome. You will get a whole bungalow for yourself with the view of splendid rice fields. Perfect for sunrise & sunset everyday. Breakfast was nicely served at my room. You can book various tours and they will pick up at your door. Rest of the day just be chilled by the pool. This area was so romantic day and night. Food is a bit challenge as the main town is 3km away, but the owner couples were so nice to lend me their motorbike and it was always a breeze experience riding bypass the beautiful fields & mountain. In the cloudless night, you can see thousand stars. To me this farmstay brings more joy and cool feeling even more than the caves.

Paradise in the middle of the rice fields”
This place is in the middle of the rice fields, so you will find nature, quiet and great sleep. The bungalows are quite new, and the quality of the beds and sheets is awesome. WE LOVE IT. It takes a bicycle ride to go to Phong Nha, but the owners let you the bicycle for free and the way there is beautiful, as you go by the river. If going somewhere else, like for example, Paradise Cave you can ask them to rent a motorbike. The place is run by a young couple. Communication was great as they have good English and made us feel confortable all the time. We loved the omelette every morning and our 4 year old the pancakes. Our last we were just by the pool and it was great.

The best accomodation I’ve had in my 8 months in Vietnam. Gorgeous, quaint bungalows with great AC and clean bathrooms. Fantastic view over the pool area. Lovely family and the owner/operator always had a cheerful smile on her face. A recommendation too - order the banana pancakes for breakfast. Absolutely incredible. Will be back!

So happy we chose to stay at Palafita Bungalows. Gorgeous modern and super clean bungalows with the most comfortable beds surrounded by beautiful rice fields and mountains. Beautiful pool and gardens, lovely welcoming family hosts, delicious breakfast and coffee. We had a very relaxing stay and would highly recommend this property when visiting Phong Nha.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The bungalows are located in the middle of rice paddies which are surrounded by mountains. Brilliant location for absolutely stunning sunsets. The accommodation is very clean, breakfast is good & the bed mattresses are excellent. Highly recommended, I’ll definitely be returning!

The best sunset I've ever seen + Great authentic local food”
Palafita is a nice gem in Phong Nha, you can get all the homestay experience with the owners and plus there is a swimming pool. Every dusk is a bless as the sun goes down the Phong Nha hilly landscape. The food is also very delicious, we had a roasted chicken which comes right out of the farm next door, totally fresh and perhaps one of the best chickens I've ever tasted.

Wonderful location!”
We had a lovely few days at Palafita. The location for us, being a short cycle out of the town, was an advantage as the town held little attraction. The bungalow is set in paddy fields and at the end of a small lane that cuts through the fields. We went out on the free bicycles one day, hired a scooter another (Paradise cave) and got a taxi into the town to visit the Phong Nha caves and have a long lunch in the town. The cycling and scooting was simply delightful with flat quiet roads and lovely views. Owners of the bungalow were very friendly, helpful, responsive and intuitive. A great stay and excellent value.

You are first met by the spectacular view of the mountains and rice fields. Then by the family’s warmth. Very helpful with tips on the caves etc, excellent breakfast (get some pancakes) and even dropped everything to get us our forgotten headphones when we were at the bus. Cannot recommend enough.

Excellent stay. Clean and amazing views. The ambiance at night with lights over the pool and dinner area was so calming. Felt like our motorbikes were very safe however unsecured. Too far to walk dt 3km but we didn’t mind as we had motorbikes. Much prettier and serene area than downtown. Would stay again!
