PLUS Great and gentle barman; nice drink upon arrival; Luca is a very kind receptionist MINUS Terrace is not great; Complimentary water would be standard for this type of hotels....

Underwhelming and Disappointing”
Its Location, the amenities in the bathroom.
As a frequent traveller, I selected this hotel for the obvious reasons, location and Starck design. I was extremely disappointed with the service, they lack an overall attention to detail, do not go the extra mile. They have a major sewage issue and the lobby smells terrible. The front desk staff was overwhelmed and there was always a wait to get serviced, they dont answer their phones and are slow to return emails when seeking information and while in town they lacked great suggestions for dining and even sent me to a wine bar that was closed. I felt the service was more on the level of a 3 star and I would strongly suggest to explore other options in this wonderful city and avoid wasting your time at this under performing property. Unfortunately even after I reached out to let them know my disappointment they stood by their service and did not offer any apologies or consolation for my bad experience. Stay Away !

Great deco”
Brilliant Phillip Starck deco and ambience, friendly staff
Hotel should provide more info on location! First time in Venice and we struggled with the water taxi drop off. The closest taxi stop is San Samuel...luckily for the hotel choice, it was close enough for it to be a mere 10 m away from the hotel doorstep...we wondered about the other hotels which were not accessible by the canal water taxis...room is very small though
