Luxury in the city”
If you like refined materials with exquisite Sense of details then this hotel is for you!! Every detail has been renovated with amazing taste and in such a beautiful way that you might not want to leave the hotel premises !! Weather lounging at the bar or eating in the superbe restaurant Or the outdoor too good to be true hidden in the city center with trees and a wonderful pool... I can go on and on but it’s better to discover it yourself. Enjoy!!!
Loved it BUT”
Hotel is stunning in a fantastic location. We booked as it was one of the only places in Rome with an outdoor pool, so happy we did! The only downside was the noise until 1am due to an event in the pool area, the staff were very accommodating to try and rectify the issue but it was an issue non the less. Should there have been no events on we would not have been able to find fault
Memorable for the wrong reasons”
This was the last day and night of our 2 week holiday in Italy. We booked the hotel especially because it had a pool and we were checking in at lunchtime. when we arrived we were shown the pool. We were told that a movie was being shot at the hotel but the pool was available for guests. We did some sightseeing and arrived back at the hotel at 4;00 pm for a swim. When we asked if we could have a drink by the pool we were told that the pool was not available because of the filming. We were very disappointed! The hotel had what looked to be a great bar. That evening we went out for dinner with friends and then invited them back to the hotel for a drink in that great bar. They were now using the bar for the movie which no one had mentioned to us. Having invited friends back to the hotel it was very disappointing to be turned away. It is a lovely building just make sure they are not making a movie.
We only stayed one night, but wish we had more time there to enjoy the amenities!”
Although far away from our favorite area of Trastevere, the hotel feels like its only little oasis. The rooms are beautiful (especially the bathrooms!) as are the bar area, restaurant and pool area. It wasn’t warm enough to enjoy the pool but on a warmer day it seems as though it would be quiet and relaxing. Also excited to go back when their roof is open!
Set your expectations low, and you won't be disappointed. ”
Good price, good location.... poor service / staff and definitely not 5 stars.
Beautiful room, lovely staff, great location.
Beautifully renovated old palace. Beautiful rooms and bathrooms. Lovely staff.
Room was frozen manager not polite, staff was great”
Agoda team Rudy from call center very supportive and saved our vacation, I got a flew from the fact we slept two nights with heat that Edie never t work
Beyond disappointment. Paid $1500 for 3 days left after two.”
This is my first review in 5 years and 58 stays. To allow this to be advertised as 5 star is completely wrong. The hotel ‘facilities’ are unusable. ‘Gym’ is in a small dark dungeon with pre-war equipment. Any ‘lounge area’ is cloaked in heavy red curtains, tiny and cloaked in darkness. The breakfast room is ridiculous.. tiny room, tiny tables, tiny stools and tiny selection. We paid for breakfast in advance and it was so miserably poor, inadequate and depressing we left it untouched. The photos on the Agoda website of Palazzo Dama and the descriptions and the reviews are nothing like the Palazzo Dama we experienced. It was really a gawdy basement night club, masquerading as a fading, 3 star, tacky hostelry. A bunch of tired rooms with worn headboards and a depressing and oppressive atmosphere. I’m sorry to have to be so explicit, especially to the staff but we were completely shafted!
Toilet paper instead of towels in the hotel toilets!
Wonderful, beautiful, clean, chic. Great service.
Beautiful hotel that maximizes its spaces. Gorgeous renovation, incredible pool and garden. Nice room. Small bedroom for what I would consider a Jr Suite, even by Euro standards, but the bathroom was large. For as new as the hotel is, the room was already showing a surprising amount of wear and tear from previous guests. But I guess its hard to keep something spotless that is essentially all white (white walls, grey carpet, light blue curtains and white oak floors. My only real complaint is that the shower/bathroom tiles/grout should be cleaned better. I would absolutely stay here again, however. The amenities and high design within Rome at this price point, can't be beat. And the staff was fantastic.
Nice hotel, pleasant staff but food service very poor.”
Pretty, classy looking hotel. Staff pleasant but not good with follow up. Food service poor. Room service horrible.
The Palazzo Dama - Extraordinary and Exceptional”
I had no idea what to expect with my last minute booking My arrival on the busy street was greeted by a smiling staff member. I rounded the entrance my jaw dropped. The hotel was stunning. The building was restored in the highest of perfection. I felt like I was living in a magazine story. The bathrooms were lush with lovely touches of hospitality. The bedrooms were perfectly appointed with soaring ceiling of frothy plasterwork. I am a tough customer who has traveled the world sampling only the best that hospitality has to offer. The Palazzo Dama has been added to that list of an exceptional few. I thank them for their contribution and extraordinary taste and style.
Good location and service”
Room is very nice and clean, but the food in the restaurant is not worth you spent the money on it.
Fabulous weekend break faultless hotel
