The Palazzo Jannuzzi Hotel in Sorrento is a wonderful, centrally located hotel. The rooms are clean, large and comfortable. The breakfast each day was homemade, plentiful and delicious. Every staff member was warm and helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Charm, location and hospitality...perfection!”
If my husband had his way, he would still be in Sorrento, sipping cappuccino and nibbling the world-class pastries lovingly and beautifully arrayed by the Palazzo Jannuzzi family and staff. I imagine that I would be back home in Malibu, and probably he would send me photos of the tarts and tortes and heart-topped foam on his coffee!!! Who could blame him? The hotel was all we could have asked for as a home-base for our Amalfi adventure. Ideally located on the main piazza in Sorrento's historical district, the hotel was steps away from the best restaurants, entertainment and shopping, as well as a quick walk to the trains, bus and port. Our enormous room featured bright and charming decor (yellow and white, their signature colors), and windows that opened and a bathroom with a wonderful, strong hot shower. The staff was welcoming and all their suggestions for food and transportation were spot on. But, the star of our stay was the breakfast which was obviously laid out with the love and talent of someone with major experience in catering. As a hospitality professional (20 years of producing high-end events) I appreciate the details that set a meal or hotel above the mundane, and this hotel had ample opportunity to wow me and for me to take photos and share the special touches the staff created. The only caveat I have is that the hotel, because of its ideal location, is on a noisy piazza, so there is a little more outside noise than if you were on the outskirts of the fun....but who wants to be far away from the beauty and hospitality of Sorrento?

Amazing!”
My husband and I visited Italy to celebrate our 31st Anniversary. We stayed at the Palazzo Jannuzzi Relais. The hotel is a few steps from the Ocean. The room was lovely, the staff wonderful and the breakfasts were amazing. If I find myself in Sorrento in the future, I would gladly stay at the Palazzo Jannuzzi Relais again. Right in the middle of the main square of Sorrento a chic oasis .5 Star for everything about this very special place, from the sumptuous breakfast(the best in Sorrento)lovingly handmade delicacies, including fresh cakes ,the superb team who will look after you arranging wonderful ways to explore the area with the best local guides and businesses and really make you feel like one of the family , the fabulous decor with its strong lines and colours attention to detail and design . And the vibe which is very special . This is a real gem !

Absolutely lovely hotel. Great location right in the center of Sorrento, yet surprisingly quiet at night. Helpful, accommodating staff. Amazing homemade breakfast feast every morning. Sleeping rooms are beautiful – as nice as the most expensive properties in town. Will definitely stay here on my next visit to Sorrento – highly recommend!

In the Center of Everything ”
Nice little boutique hotel in the middle of Sorrento. You are right in the center of everything and all directions of the city can be walked from here, including down to the water where you can take a ferry to Capri or to Naples. We stayed here 4 nights and were a family of 4 with 2 rooms. The rooms are large - infact if you have smaller children, you can stay in one Superior Room (Rm. 25 or 26) which has an extra bed and a small room + a sofa-bed + 2Twins/1 King bed. The breakfast is served on the first floor - which was excellent. The only challenge would be parking, so definitely do not rent a car and drive. The staff was excellent - very warm and helpful with any of our requests. Overall, a top class place with a great location.

Simply outstanding customer service”
We stayed in 7 hotels in seven cities over 3 weeks and this hotel ranked number 1 for us. Sorrento was the least appealing city for us compared to Positano, Siena, Venice, Florence, Taormina, Milan and Rome but this hotel alone and their simply outstanding customer service , moved our experience in Sorrento up a few notches.

This hotel is a must stay when in Sorrento. Everything about it is 5 stars. Very friendly staff, breakfast is fresh and amazing, location right in the center of town , easyvwalk from the train station. If you are going to Sorrento you must stay here. We were in the third floor apartment great room.

Great hotel but frontage is not obvious”
the location is fabulous. it is located right in the centre of the square where you can see all the action. provided there is much action is nice, serence sorrento. the hotel room are spacious, mine was with a hugh balcony where we could sit and enjoy the view. however, do remember to close the balcony doors before you go to sleep or else you will be smelling the fumes from the vehicles when you wake up in the monrning. not a nice feeling. a water kettle would be nice, although the hotel mentioned we can get hot water from them, but it will be by the cup.

Amazing ”
If their was an option to give more than 5 stars, I wouldn’t hesitate to put more. They knew that we were checking out before 7 AM in the morning. They prepared breakfast early for us, and we came in and everything was ready and perfect. The food was delicious and was the best free breakfast from a hotel in Italy that we went to. I contacted the hotel 3 weeks before our check in date, and the lady in the front desk answered my question very fast and provided me with the best information located in Sorrento for the things we wanted to do. This is the best hotel I stayed in from our 10 Days in Italy. The people worked above and beyond and we thank them for it.

An Excellent Choice”
We stayed at Palazzo Januzzi Relais for 2 nights and were very pleased. It's in an ideal location, a 10 minute walk to the port and in the middle of shops and restaurants, overlooking the square. Our tour of Capris left from right across the street. The breakfast was great. The room was expansive, overlooking the square. Highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic hotel and staff. Bright, clean, great beds. ”
The staff are the family owners. Such a great group of people. Amazing rooms. We traveled with another couple and were put in the top floor apartment. So great we had a huge terrace sun deck. The breakfast is all homemade and delicious, especially the egg tarts and the chocolate pastries. I had hurt my knee prior to the trip, and asked for ice for it. They gave me a medical bag made for ice bag. They think of everything. Also they had brand new elevators so I didn't have to walk up any steps. Felt like part of their family. If you are traveling to Sorrento, you would be lucky to stay here!

Cosy B&B with great rooms”
This was a lovely B&B, nicely decorated, light and airy and in a great location on the main square in Sorrento. I stayed in eh deluxe room, with two friends. It sleeps three but the single sofa bed is a little hard, so consider yourself duly warned if you draw the short straw and have to sleep on it! Other than that though, our room was delightful. It was bright and light, with a private terrace, a kitchenette and a large bathroom. The room came with all the small things you need to make your stay cosy, such as toiletries, plenty of towels, a nice robe and slippers for each guest, a powerful hairdryer, plus a few extras such as a fridge in the kitchenette, cutlery and crockery. The breakfast at the B&B was great, made by the cook Simona (who also offers cookery lessons, but unfortunately we ran out of time to take her up on this). You can start your day with eggs, a selection of breads and pastries, fruit, yogurt, cake, biscuits, cheese and a few other yummy things. Because this is a B&B and not a hotel, there aren't the communal facilities you might want like a computer for guests, although there is fee wifi, so take your ipad or smartphone and you're sorted. The biggest downside is that the reception staff aren't overly friendly. I mean they're polite, but they don't go out of their way to help you with directions or local info, and often the info they gave us was incorrect! Don't let that put you off though, it's a lovely place to stay and between the wifi and a local guide book, you can find out everything you need to know yourself.

Best location in Sorrento”
The hotel was renewed just a year ago and it shows. Rooms are clean, spacious, nicely furnished, so is the bathroom. My favourite is the breakfast room, which is just like you were home. Location is the best it is in the very centre of Sorrento. Nice restaurant all around and great view.
